But he that trusted in his riches shall fall because he trusted in his riches, that is his own righteousness, that he shall fall off or he is cast forth as a branch. For we heard Jesus said:“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”John 15:6 KJV Let us not trust in the riches of our own righteousness but trust in His righteousness, for we shall not fall but rise, for we shall be made righteous through Christ, that we shall flourish as a branch, that bear fruit of righteousness.
