@Vine Abider, here's a very brief demonstration of the ibex horn shofar I had when I was part of the first fellowship I joined. It takes time and practice to coax a range of sounds out of the horn, but it didn't take long because of my experience playing the trumpet. The shofar in this video was recorded separately to capture the quality of the instrument.

Quite the sound from that - thanks for sharing!

Could that be the sound we hear when . . . .?

An inspiring instrument with an inspiring sound.

Unless you're an enemy of Israel.

It was rather loud! There was the volume we used during music performed during a gathering --- it was low key --- but then there was the blasting volume we used when calling people in for a gathering on the old farm. When using the shofar to announce a gathering, we would each play three different octaves in a certain pattern. It was similar to what we hear on that video (for the most part).

Very interesting.  My previous church is called Shofar and indeed they often played this there.
