9-9-2023 Daytona Beach Seventh Day BAPTIST Pastor Ben “Let Everything That Hath Breath Praise The Lord” Psalm 150;1-6

Let us all read out loud this scripture like you mean it because you have breath. “Let everything that hath breath Praise the Lord”. Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord! Did you know that how we respond to God with our praises has everything to do with our understanding of who God is and how God responds. You should Praise the Lord with everything that is available to you and do it loudly with enthusiasm and not in a small quiet voice. God is listening to you.

When you are going through problems, you should Praise the Lord and thank the Lord that you are going through the problems and will be finished with them soon. You are going through and not going to stay with the problem so Praise the Lord for the “through”. When we go through problems it is a big difference than staying in the problem. Right? This is a big lesson for us to learn. We are going through the problems and not going to stay in the problem. We have to Praise the Lord. Sometimes people focus on their problem and they forget how God is going to get them out of it. He will get us through the problem and out of the problem. If you have problems with your job, the Lord is going to get you through. If you have problems with your health, the Lord is going to get you through. You are not going to stay in it but it too shall pass.

We need to understand why we are going through some stuff. God wants to show us that He is still alive and well. You have to trust Him even when it looks like there is no way out. No exit. But there is always God. Amen. If God allows you to get into the problem, Hes going to make you go through the situation. That is enough for us to Praise the Lord! I learned that my minor problems are God’s opportunities for us to see Him work in us. He is going to get you through it. If you have a problem with a boss at your job and if you are a believer then you know that God is going to get you through it. Then that is when you do what verse six says, Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord. We have a God that can walk on water so praise Him for being with us. All of our problems the Lord is going to bring us out of and that is enough to Praise the Lord. The Lord loves us.

We come to church to Praise God together and that is the reason why we are here. We are not here to look at each other. We are here to look at, honor and Praise God. We Praise Him because we have breath. Everything that has breath Praise the Lord. Whatever situation you are going through, remember to Praise the Lord. Praise Him because you have a Mighty God who said let there be light and there was light. This is the God who said to separate the waters from the ground and it happened. See this is the God that we have! So when you are feeling bad and decide not to go to church, get up and go to church because we have a Mighty God. Amen

I don’t know about you, but I have enough reasons to Praise the Lord. I have enough reasons to Praise the Lord. You may have come to hear a good sermon or good singing but you should be here to Praise the Lord. We have enough reasons to honor and Praise the Lord. When you understand how God responds to our prayers and when we acknowledge Him on how He has done something great for us, we just cannot keep it to ourselves. You just get bubbly and say Praise God, Praise God and Hallelujah! You just can’t keep it to yourself. There are two kinds of people that come to church. Those who want to sleep and those who want to live. Which one are you? This week may have been a tough week for some of us but thank God you are here and Praise Ye The Lord!

AMEN
