*** In Moses’s Time:

Exodus 20;1-5

And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

 

Disobedience:

Exodus 32:1-6

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

 

Death:

Exodus 32:25-28

And when Moses saw that the people were naked; for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies: Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

 

*** In Israel Today:

Three weeks ago Israel Defense { IDF } told people to move south from North Gaza, away from the battlefield. Lots of Gaza people disobeyed and have died for their disobedience.

IDF tells Gaza residents to leave northern Strip using evacuation corridors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In an Arabic message, the Israel Defense Forces tells residents of the northern Gaza Strip that they should move to the southern part of the enclave using evacuation corridors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. “If you care about yourself and your loved ones, go south as instructed,” the military says. “Rest assured that Hamas leaders have taken care of themselves and are taking cover from strikes in the region.” The IDF has notified the United Nations that the entire Palestinian population north of Wadi Gaza should relocate to the southern Strip. The message indicated that the IDF could be readying to launch a ground invasion after a week of aerial bombardment in response to the massive Hamas onslaught last Saturday. Hamas terrorists killed 1,300 people, the vast majority of them civilians.

IDF emphasizes again that north Gazans must evacuate ahead of ‘significant military operations’

A spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces emphasizes again that residents of northern Gaza should heed the warning to evacuate to the southern part of the Strip, with Israel set to begin “significant military operations.” “The important thing here to focus on is that we will commence significant military operations only once we see that civilians have left the area,” Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus tells CNN. “It’s really important that people in Gaza know we’ve been very, very generous with the time. We have given ample warning, more than 25 hours… I cannot stress more than enough to say now is the time for Gazans to leave,” he says.

Hamas tells Gazans not to evacuate

Hamas has dismissed Israel’s orders for Palestinians to evacuate the northern half of the Strip and is telling residents to stay put. The group calls on Palestinians to “remain steadfast in your homes and to stand firm in the face of this disgusting psychological war waged by the occupation,” according to a statement from its authority for refugee affairs. A statement on the terror group’s website calls Israel “delusional” for thinking people will flee. “Scenes of migration and displacement are a thing of the past and won’t be repeated, except with the victorious return of our people to our occupied land,” the group says.

Hamas health authorities claim Gaza death toll above 5,000  

Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry says the death toll in the Strip since Israel’s bombing campaign began has risen to 5,087, including over 400 killed in the last 24 hours. The ministry claims 2,055 of the victims are children. The figures cannot be verified independently, and likely include Hamas’s claim of 471 fatalities in a blast at the Ahli Arab hospital last week, despite evidence showing the explosion was caused by a misfired Palestinian rocket and the toll likely inflated. The ministry claims over 15,000 people have been injured since Israel began bombarding the Strip on October 7, with the aim of eradicating the terror group after its massacre of some 1,400 people in southern Israel.
