On a sadder note (to me) there was a massive number of deer fatalities all along I-75 just South of Atlanta. Their territories are evidently being torn up by the ever growing human population expanding around Atlanta and there seems to be no way for them to get across I -75, nor any barrier fences to keep them off of it. Though expensive I do think it is human responsibility to provide ways of safe passage for woods critters other than for them to have to run across the freeways. Those passageways should be an absolute necessity required for any large road construction project.
