(Worthy News) – A major US antisemitism watchdog, the Anti-Defamation League, has recorded a 337% increase in antisemitic incidents in America since the Oct.7 attack on Israel by the ISIS-like Hamas Palestinian jihadist group from Gaza, Israel365 News reports.

The ADL recorded 2,031 antisemitic incidents since the genocidal Hamas attack against the Jewish people, compared to 465 incidents during the same period in 2022, Israel365 reports. The incidents recorded included 40 cases of physical violence, 749 of verbal attacks, 337 cases of vandalism, and 905 rallies with antisemitic speech. In 250 cases, the incidents targeted Jewish institutions, including synagogues.

Notably, the ADL recorded 400 antisemitic incidents at US university campuses, compared to 33 incidents during the same period last year, Israel365 said.

“Since October 7, 2023, ADL has recorded a surge of antisemitic incidents in the U.S. and tracked a spike in antisemitism around the world,” the ADL said in its report. “At anti-Israel October and November rallies, ADL Center on Extremism reported antisemitic rhetoric and tropes, implicit support for Hamas terror and the denigration of ‘Zionists.’”

“As implied and sometimes explicit support for violence against Israelis and Zionists and the use of language playing into historic tropes become more normalized, it is likely that antisemitic incidents will continue to increase,” the ADL added.
