Welcome!

But anyways, I would like to know if God will still accept me. I

What God said.....

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:16-18)

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20)

Welcome Sara.

We're all sinners when we come to Him. He paid the price for everything wrong we've done. All we must do is be willing to accept His gift, and allow Him into our hearts and lives. :emot-pray:

Welcome Sara!

I agree with Billie.

You are blessed to have such good advise given to you here. There are a lot of people who are in Christ who love you (even ones who never met you). One thing that you should do is find Christians like the people giving you advise here that are near you. People who will love you with the love that Christ has for you.

Luk 7:37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

Luk 7:38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

Luk 7:39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

Luk 7:40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

Luk 7:41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

Luk 7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

Luk 7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

Luk 7:44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

Luk 7:45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

Luk 7:46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

Luk 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

Luk 7:48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Luk 7:49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

Luk 7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Jesus loves those who repent and will always receive you no matter what you have done.

Hello everyone. My name is Sara. I probably won't be on the board as much as I should because my eight month old son just won't have it. I mainly came here seeking an answer to my question. I tried to look it up on various search engines but couldn't find out anything. But anyways, I would like to know if God will still accept me. I am a 19 year old single mother. I thought that my childs father and I were going to marry in the future. Well at least thats what I thought until he left me a month after I told him I was pregnant. I am currently dating another guy who is wonderful to my son and me. I am just worried that since I have messed up so badly by having premartial sex and have a child, will I ever be able to call myself christian?

Thanks for your time and any help,

Sara

Welcome Sara.

Praise the Lord that he forgives sinners. Everyone of us have sinned and it is through accepting Christ as our saviour we are saved. You can definitely be called a Christian if you have accepted Jesus into your heart.

God Bless
