-Genesis in Space and Time or True Spirituality by Francis Schaeffer (or anything else by him for that matter)

-C.S. Lewis, and I don't mean Narnia. In fact, I have gotten to where I'm almost bothered when people act like Narnia is the only thing he's written worth reading (silly, I know). Try out Mere Christianity or The Great Divorce to see Lewis's real genius.

Excellent choices! I remember when some of us (like AK) recommended Schaeffer to you...glad you see you're hooked! :24: I just finished Genesis in Space & Time too. It was good, but not one of my Schaeffer favorites.

My favorites...yeah, that's hard because I'm ALWAYS reading something, but I don't care for fiction:

The God Who Is There - Francis Schaeffer

He Is There And He Is Not Silent - Schaeffer

Escape From Reason - Schaeffer

A Christian Manifesto - Schaeffer

How Should We Then Live? - Schaeffer

Okay, yeah...most anything by Schaeffer

Walk On: The Spiritual Journey of U2 - Steve Stockman

Love Your God With All Your Mind - JP Moreland

Total Truth - Nancy Pearcey

Heaven Is a Place on Earth - Michael Wittmer

And I'm currently reading "Fit Bodies Fat Minds" by Os Guinness and "The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind" by Mark Noll...both very good.

EMPIRE, by Orson Scott Card. ITs about a new American ciwil war. Wich is my dream since i hate America, i hope i havent offended any one? :emot-highfive:

A little, actually... :emot-highfive: I'm not usually sensitive, but wishing war and death on America seems kinda harsh.

Hey Kabowd! I'm surprised you remember me asking about those books! I haven't been here in a long time (I tend to come and go on message boards). Well after you and AK recommended Schaeffer, I ordered the bookset, and then didn't read it for quite awhile. Now I've decided it's about time I read through them, Schaeffer really does know his stuff.

Anything by Guy Gavriel Kay...though personally I recommend starting with Tigana. I say "personally" because he's a favourite of two of my Sisters-in-Law as well, and we frequently debate (in fun, of course) which is his best.
