Though it is true that any person that can do simple math can realize that if Christ died on Friday afternoon and rose Sunday morning that that is in fact not three days and would thus oppose scripture, I think we need to realize the principles of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Regardless of what they are called or when they are held they are celebrating to magnifying to the world the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Since this is the case are we really arguing that the celebration of Good Friday and Easter Sunday should be abolished? First off: Welcome to Worthy "Christ Through Faith". I am arguing no such thing. IMO: It is a matter of respect for one another and for our respective beliefs upon the matter. My sole purpose in this is that perhaps through discussion together that we may firmly establish the matter. That matter being, the timing and relationship of these things. Along the way, they reached the wilderness of Sinai and camped by its holy mountain. Exactly fifty days after the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, God met with them at Mount Sinai. [T]here was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp trembled. Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, the whole mountain trembled violently, and the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder. Then Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him. (Exod. 19:
