Guest shiloh357
Liberals are as bad for Israel as they are for the US. Sometimes in the enemy inside the gates is more dangerous than the enemy outside the gates.
Guest
Oh No! "Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground." (Psalms 147:1-6) Amen!

Isreal is doing the smart thing by alligning itself with one of the factions and encouraging the "redirection" of their violence. It is a case of arming terrorists. It will put more innocent Israelis at risk and make it harder for the IDF to combat the terrorists. I really don't see where you think this is "smart." It is about as stupid as it gets.

They are taking a leap of faith one might say. They are playing the militants against each other and trying to even the odds. It's a calculated risk and they are trying to buy a little breathing room. If, and it's a big IF, they can cause or encourage infighting among the militants, it buys Israel some time. Time for what I'm not sure. Perhaps to strike at the leaders of Hezbollah. Who can say?
Guest shiloh357
Yodon't honestly think they would give their enemies equipment knowing it was going to be used against Israelis do you? That is exactly what has been done. They are taking a leap of faith one might say. Faith in what??? What has EVER come from the PA that would demonstrate, historically, that would prove that Israel could profit from putting faith in the PA??? Everytime Israel has extended goodwill, it has been repaid with bloodshed and more dead Jews. It is more like a leap of stupidity. You are blind if you can't see that. No, it is just more pandering to the will of the international community. Israel is trying imitate the US in giving arms to the PA. It is the last thing that Israel should be doing.
