Godfearer Posted July 30, 2008 Group: Advanced Member Followers: 1 Topic Count: 11 Topics Per Day: 0.00 Content Count: 177 Content Per Day: 0.03 Reputation: 4 Days Won: 0 Joined: 07/13/2008 Status: Offline Share Posted July 30, 2008 i read a past thread about prophets and there seemed to be a great deal of speculation. that thread is closed now. i want to share somethings with those of you that can recieve it. there are still prophets today. i know this because i have witnessed someone who was a prophet(they are with the LORD now) prophecy several times. you know that it is of God because it is God speaking thru them and they dont speak of thier own. if you know God you know he is speaking. even thru someone else. i know what God has told me. thru the mouth of two and in his word. prophecy is a gift but we dont all have the same gifts.(the gifts are thru you not to you) you know a prophet is truely a prophet if what they say comes to pass. The NT gift of prophecy is very different than what the OT prophets did.
