Guest yod
even ABC seems to support that McCain was much more truthful than Obama with only a couple of exaggerations. It's hard to get around the fact that Obama was Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac's 2nd highest recipient of political contributions. He got more money from them than McCain has gotten from special interest groups in all his time in Washington

If they will fall for "yeah but that was 40 years ago" then they will fall for anything.

We all come to to the voting booths with matters close to our hearts and minds. Personally I feel strongly on issue's such as abortion and same sex marriage. While the President has little to say on these matters, I believe it is a example of his character (let alone moral convictions) Julia aka Juls

And those are the issues that Obama wishes to avoid knowing they could well impact the votes of those who currently intend to vote for him. It's also clear that the audience members at last nights debate were screened and selected and so the questions were surely ALSO screened and selected. It almost seems that both candidates are avoiding issues like abortion, gun rights, border security, illegal immigration and gay marriage. We can only assume that the candidates and their campaign managers feel the loss or gain from such issues would be a wash in the end, as only the more liberal and conservative voters feel strongly enough about them to alter their votes in the first place.
