Revelation. VISION 4. CHRIST THE JUDGE. The First Fruits.

The First Fruits.

Now we hear different voices:

`And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters,

and like the voice of loud thunder.

And I heard the sound of harpist playing their harps.`

                                                                                                                (Rev. 14: 2)

Together we hear the 144,000 priests with the Son and the Father in complete harmony, in one accord.  They sing `a new song,` which is the expression of the special purpose that God has for them.

They are the priests who will rule with the Lamb for God over Israel. Later in Revelation we see them in the New Jerusalem.

`They sang as it were a new song before the throne,

                                         before the four living creatures, and the elders;

and no one could learn that song except the 144,000

who were redeemed from the earth.`

                                                                                             (Rev. 14: 3)

We are also shown the special requirements that are needed for their suitability as priests. They had not been `defiled with women.` God refers to being defiled or  `playing the harlot,` as forsaking Him.` It  means spiritual idolatry.  (Hosea 9: 1)

However these 144,000 priests were true to their Messiah and did not get seduced by false doctrines. They followed the Lamb, showing that they obeyed Him completely for He is their Lord.

`These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins.

These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes.`                                                                                                                                                                (Rev. 14: 4)

As `first fruits,` they are the beginning of the `harvest,` that God is about to gather  from Israel. They are the first ones manifested, set apart for God`s special purpose as priests in Israel. These are part of God`s government in the New Jerusalem.

` These were redeemed from among men,

being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.`

                                                                                               (Rev. 14: 5)

What I don’t understand regarding the Tribulations is regarding the chosen elect being Raptured,  does this also include the Gentiles.

So then after the 144,000 have proclaimed the gospel I am assuming that Gentiles who are left behind and believe this message will receive Salvation and then I wonder will they be Raptured ?

Jews follow the law of the Torah and Gentiles are faith based is my understanding

The Body of Christ(elect) is raptured before the tribulation. That is Jews and Gentiles who have turned to the Lord.

No one else will be raptured ever.

The 144,00 will have to die to go to glory, and eventually go to the New Jerusalem.

Many of the Gentiles who are left behind and believed their message about the Messiah coming to deliver and rule through Israel, most will probably die and be part of that great multitude that died of heat, hunger and thirst. (Rev. 7: 14 - 16)

Everyone needs to be `faith` based, however the difference is in what promise the Lord has given that group to have faith in. The OT saints had faith in God for a city, (Heb. 11: 16) as their inheritance, whereas we, the Body of Christ have faith in Jesus to rule with Him on His throne. (Rev. 3: 21) Different groups with different inheritances. God`s kingdom is great and He has planned different rulerships in different realms.

The Jews follow the Torah because they rebelled against God and didn`t have faith to believe that He would lead them. Thus God gave them the law to lead them to Christ, but they missed it. Finally in the trib, the 144,000 will proclaim that their Messiah is coming and for them to have faith in that.

So summing up -

The Great multitude die of heat, hunger and thirst but look to God.

144,000 Israelis are martyred and go to God.

Those who believe their message of the Messiah coming to rule through Israel may be martyred (go to God) or get to hide and go through to the millennium.

Those who may be unbelievers (& not take the mark) but look after the Jews when they are hiding will go into the millennium if they are not killed by the A/C.

Those who rebel against God and receive the mark etc will go to Lake of fire when the Lord comes.

Quite a lot but God knows who are His and people are given every opportunity to turn to Him.
