Revelation. VISION 4. CHRIST THE JUDGE. The Harvest: the 3 Proclamations.

THE HARVEST                (Rev. 14: 6 – 20)

We are now shown the great ingathering of the harvest: those to life and those to death.

Three angels go forth bringing proclamations of the judgments to come.

The 3 Proclamations

Life - God`s hand of mercy is still stretched out to those who will repent.

`Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven,

having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth –

to every nation, tribe, tongue, & people –

                  saying with a loud voice,

“Fear God and give glory to Him,

                                      for the hour of His judgment has come;

and worship Him who made heaven & earth, the sea & springs of water. `

                                                                                                                      (Rev. 14: 6 & 7)

Destruction - Those who have followed the false religion will see it destroyed.

                                        `And another angel followed, saying,

“Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city,

because she has made all nations drink of the wine

of the wrath of her fornication.”

                                                                                            (Rev. 14: 8)

Death - Those who follow and worship the Global leader will suffer the wrath and judgment of God.

Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice,

“If anyone worships the beast & his image,

and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand,

he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God,

which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation.

He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels

and in the presence of the Lamb.

                        And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever;

and they have no rest day of night, who worship the beast and his image,

and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

                                                                                            (Rev. 14: 9 - 11)

In my understanding of this harvest ….takes place after God’s chosen elect have been Raptured and what is left is everyone else the unbelievers etc

in order not to have followed the world leader they would have to have been martyred? and thereby escape the world harvest? so does this mean they now have eternal Salvation?

but these individuals would also be gone by this time of these events are unfolding here when the harvest of the world happens

Do you mean the Body of Christ, (chosen elect) being raptured?

And then unbelievers & those not watching for the Lord`s coming. You see we must be eagerly waiting for Him (Heb. 9: 28) and not so busy with the world`s affairs.

Not all people who don`t follow the world leader will be martyred. Think of the `peppers` who have their hide holes out is the desert or wilderness. They can hide and survive for a few years. They may even last till the millennium. For there are people (sheep nations) who look after the Jews that are hiding, like in WW2. When they go into the millennium they will go up to Jerusalem, (or send a representative) and learn the ways of God. (Micah 4: 1 - 3)

So the `2 harvests,` are those who will be martyred and then those who didn`t look after the Jews. (goats) (Matt. 25: 31 - 46)

yes

the chosen elect, in my understanding would be those that come to Christ because of the 14400 preaching the Gospel. ah yes the preppers you would have to be extremely knowledgeable to come through this. so someone with a military background ...but the regular jo(e) wouldnt last. ...maybe divine intervention

oh wow thanks for explaining the two harvests that makes things a lot clearer

Israel is God`s elect and so is the Body of Christ. Both are named `elect,` but for different purposes.

Israel -  `My elect one in whom my soul delights.` (Isa. 42: 1)

              `For Jacob my servant`s sake, and Israel my elect.` (Isa. 45: 4)

The Body of Christ - `Therefore as the elect of God, ...` (Col. 3: 12)

            `Who shall bring a charge against God`s elect.` (Rom. 8: 33)

That is a great key to understanding God`s word, His purposes for - the Body of Christ, for Israel and for the Nations.

So glad you are getting a clearer picture. It takes away the muddle of everyone in together, or thinking it is all about us.
