SUMMARY.

God purpose for Israel is revealed. They will be chastised not only for not keeping the Sabbath rests, (70 years) but also for everyday that Israel rebelled against God and His laws, (70 x 7 years, 490 days).

This time frame however had a gap after Israel rejected their Messiah, (Jesus). And that `gap` gave room for God`s other purpose, (the Body of Christ) whereas Israel would be scattered amongst the nations for over two thousand years.

Then at the end of the Gentiles rule we are shown a king who would arise and be controlled by Satan. Israel`s sanctuary in the Temple is desecrated, and their sacrifices stopped. The king, the leader of the Global Government, sets an image of Himself in the holy place and everyone must worship him.

God only allows this king a certain time to rule, (time, times and half a time, 3 ½ years, 1,260 days). Then the Messiah would come and deliver Israel from its enemies. After the people have received the Lord and had a time of mourning, (Zech. 12: 10) the sanctuary will be cleansed, (at 1,290 days).

Then from all over the world the scattered Jews are brought back to Israel, (Isa. 66: 20) and the time of celebrations begins. This will be on the 15th of Adar in Jerusalem, (Esther 9: 18 – 22,  Dan. 12: 12,  at 1,335 days).

Then after the chastisement Israel will be ruled by the Lord through an earthly king and some priests. (Jer. 30: 9, Isa. 66: 21). A thousand years of peace follows where the nations don`t learn war anymore but go up to Jerusalem to learn the ways of the Lord. (Micah 4: 1 – 5)
