DAILY MEDITATIONS AND AFFIRMATIONS - May 26, 2024

"The everlasting God...neither faints nor is weary." - Isaiah 40:28

Until others learn to draw on the life of the Lord Jesus directly, they will have to draw on His life through you. You must literally be their source of supply.

Jesus said to Peter, "Feed My Sheep." This is an admonition to disciple Believers into their Christ identity so they can be effective in bearing fruit that remains for God's advancing Kingdom through their Christ calling.

We owe it to God to be our best for His lambs and sheep, as well as for Him.

Colossians 1:26,27 - "The mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. To them, God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

Pride is the deification of self. To say "Oh, I'm no saint." is acceptable to human pride, but it is unconscious blasphemy against God. It literally means that you defy God to make you a saint. "I am much too weak and hopeless."

Humility before men may be unconscious blasphemy before God. Why are you not a saint? It is either that you do not want to be a saint, or that you do not believe God can make you one.

The disciple of Christ is one who has crucified self-interest and pride and self-sufficiency.

AFFIRMATIONS:

I am loved by God and called to be a saint (Romans 1:7)

Philippians 1:1 says that I am a saint and Colossians 1:22 says that I am holy in God’s sight, and without blemish and FREE from accusation.

I thank You Father God, that You have forgiven me of all of my sins and You have canceled the law with all of its regulations which stood opposed to me (Colossians 2:13) -- I, therefore, choose to keep my mind on things above and not on earthly things (Colossians 3:1)
