Genesis 28:12 - "And he had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it."
The word translated "angel" in the text is the Hebrew word "Mal'ak" (mal-awk'), which means to despatch as a deputy; a messenger; specifically, of God, ie. an angel (also a prophet, priest or teacher).
The point is the messengers that are to ascend and descend upon this ladder are not just angelic beings, but God
Revelation 4:6 - "And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal."
The source of God's Peace is God Himself. The glass sea is a symbol: there are no ripples, no waves, no anxieties troubling God. The Lord is never worried never in a hurry nor without an answer. The sea around Him is perfectly still and totally calm. All our victories flow out from being seated here with Him.
John 3:3 - Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth: no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he
He makes the crooked paths straight and the rough places plain.
He is the greatest Teacher the world has ever known, and He is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit.
He preserves the faithful, and He is the resurrection and the life.
He spoke and framed the world; He makes my way perfect and makes my feet like hinds' feet, and He causes me to walk in high places. He is able to comfort, guide, and bless me.
He spoke, and the heavens unrolled themselves, and the galaxies were
You shouldn't say things about yourself that God says are not true. eg. "I am a work in Progress" (false humility) Colossians 2:18 - "Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement." v.2:13 ..."having forgiven us all our transgressions."
You are giving yourself an excuse to sin occasionally and live short of God's full will for you. By wet-nursing this mindset you disengage yourself from living up to your full potential in Christ. eg. I am an old sinner saved by g
I commit my way to the Lord, trust in Him, and delight myself in Him to bring forth His righteousness through me in Christ Jesus. (Psalm 37:4-6)
I put my hope in the Lord and enjoy my inheritance in Christ Jesus. (Psalm 37:9)
As I embrace God's purpose for my life, he makes certain of my steps. (Psalm 37:23)
I consider myself dead to sin and abide in Christ Jesus forever. (Psalm 37:27)
The Lord is my strength and delivers me in times of trouble as I take refuge and em
Luke 18:5,6 - "The judge ignored her for a while, but eventually she got on his nerves. 'I fear neither God nor man,' he said to himself, 'but this widow is so great a nuisance that I will see her righted before she wears me out with her persistence.' Then the Lord said, 'if even an evil judge can be worn down like that, don't you think that God will surely give justice to his people who plead with Him day and night?"
The parable concerns a widow who desperately implores a judge to give her
Philippians 2:13 - "for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure."
Isaiah 43:16,19 - "This is what the Lord says—he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, See, I am doing a new thing; Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
Let His presence breathe over you. He makes a way where there seems to be no way, and so today He will make a way where there is no w
"What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him" - (1 Corinthians 2:9).
God wants to work through you in ways that would confound your mind if you saw them in advance. His plans for us are beyond anything we could imagine. He created us to fill an important role in His great plan for the ages; that of revealing Himself to creation through creation.
The weight of the glory God wants to share with us is immense – bigger th
Isaiah 4:1 - "In that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, 'We will eat our own food and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace.'"
We have taken hold of the world and we have taken hold of clever ideas, but the seven women (seven churches -- see Revelation 2 and 3) are about to lay hold of their Beloved. The longing of the Church is for Him. We will want to be called by His great Name. The splendor of His beauty draws us as a par
2 Corinthians 4:13 - "We have the same spirit of faith as he (the psalmist) who wrote, 'I have believed and therefore have spoken.' We too believe, and therefore we speak.'"
To speak by faith is simply to speak words that agree with the word of God instead of the circumstances around you. It's speaking from your spirit instead of from your mind,
The Bible tells us that God uses words to "call those things which be not as though they were." (Romans 4:17)
John 8:36 - "If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
Loose yourself from all entanglements, soul ties, dead works, wrong relationships, wrong mindsets. Break free from everything that hinders the work of His Spirit in your lives. No weights, no cords, no bindings, no tubes connected or having an access point into your lives.
Be free from all false expectations, man's expectations, religious expectations; every expectation that does not come from the
Jesus said to Nathanael, "You will see greater things than these...I say to you, you will see the heavens opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man. - John 1: 50,51.
Most Christians see the heavens closed. Few see with open vision either into the heavenly realms or into their own hearts.
Romans 14:17 - "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit."
The Kingdom is contained by the presence of
Romans 8:33 -- "Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies."
Mark 15:3 -- "And the chief priest accused Him of many things, but He answered nothing."
Why didn't Jesus defend Himself?
The reason: to remain under His Father's judgment and thus His protection.
When we refuse to defend ourselves we are hidden under the hand of God's grace and judgment. There is no safer place.
In contrast, those who defend themselves come under the jurisdictio
The Eight Ways the Blood of Jesus Avails for Us:
1. Forgiveness. I have been forgiven through the Blood of Jesus. Hebrews 9:22, "All things are cleansed with the Blood and without the shedding of Blood there can be no forgiveness."
2. Cleansing. The Blood of Jesus has cleansed me from all sin. I John 1:7, "But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the Blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin." (See also 1 Peter 1:2.
You, Jesus, are my strong shield, and I trust you completely. You have helped me, and I will celebrate and thank you in song and praise. (Psalm 28:7)
As His anointed, the Lord is my strength and saving defender. (Psalm 28:8)
I am your inheritance, Lord Jesus, Shepherd me and lift me up forever! (Psalm 28:9)
I honor the Lord for the glory of His name and worship Him in the splendor of His holiness. (Psalm 29:2)
The God of glory thunders. The voice of the Lord is power
Hebrews 10:19,20 - "Having, therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of the Lamb, by a new and living way, which He has set apart for us, through the veil that is His flesh."
The secret is out. The Lord wants relationship with us so badly, He would die just to be with us. In fact, He did. The cross made a way for us to enter into His chambers.
Mark 15:37,38 - "And Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed out His life. And the curtain of the temple was torn in
2 Corinthians 5:17 - "If any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."
Everything, even our intelligence, and physical appearance is now subject to change for the better. Old failures, prejudices, and attitudes are destined to go.
New faith and hope should be growing within us daily.
HOW DO I ATTAIN SUCH A WONDERFUL NEW BEGINNING?
I receive the spirit of Christ into my heart to empower me wit
Do you want to know, hear, see, and be like Jesus?
Embrace His work in you so that He can work through you mightily.
Embrace the ministry of the Holy Spirit and allow the sevenfold flow of the Holy Spirit to manifest in your life (Revelation 4:5).
As we understand our divine union with Him and become obedient to His voice, we can engage face to Face, spirit to Spirit, and unite our hearts to His. When we plug into the center pipe of the heavenly menorah, we receive the fr
Genesis 3:1 - "Now the serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And he (Satan) said to the woman, Can it really be that God has said, 'You shall not eat from every tree of the garden'"?
It is my responsibility to see that my thinking, believing and speaking are right. If I don't take that responsibility, the devil is going to think my thoughts for me. He'll actually have me believing what he wants m
Acts 14:3 - "Therefore they stayed there a long time speaking boldly in the Lord who was bearing witness to the word of His grace granting signs and wonders done by their hands."
There has to be a demonstration of this King we serve. The evidence of His resurrection is in the power of your words and the power of the actions that follow your words.
Throughout the book of Acts it says, "They spoke boldly and God confirmed the situation and confirmed the Word." That boldness actually dra
I lift my head up to behold the King of Glory who delivers me. (Psalm 24:8)
I wait on the Lord and lift up my soul to receive His compassion and lovingkindness. (Psalm 25:1,3,6)
Teach me your paths, O Lord, and instruct me in your purpose for my life. (Psalm 25:4,12)
My eyes are continually toward Jesus, as I let integrity and uprightness preserve me, He guards my soul and delivers me. (Psalm 25:15,20,21)
O Lord, I love to dwell in the glory of your presence and dec
"The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 8:14 TPT)
When we allow the Holy Spirit to lead our lives, He will always take us to places that require greater risk and faith.
Romans 8:5 (TPT) says, "Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue spiritual realities."
When we press past our fears and insecurities, we'll experience an
Luke 10:41,42 - And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."
Mary sat at the feet of Jesus until she knew her destiny.
Once she knew the purpose of her life, then she could go do the dishes with Martha, or anything else that needed to be done. She did not neglect the task.
Through INTIMACY, Mary simply gained what she needed for her
Romans 10:9 - "If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Confession without any faith in the heart is powerless; it's useless.
What if I don't believe in my heart? Should I still confess the Word of God?
Yes, because with my lips, I can make confessions unto faith. In other words, as I say God's word over and over again, faith can be built in my heart where before there wasn't any faith.
I am joyful with gladness in Your presence and will sing and praise Your power. (Psalm 21:6,13)
Be exalted, O Lord, In Your strength, and in your salvation how greatly I rejoice! (Psalm 21:1,13)
I will not be shaken because I trust in the lovingkindness of the Lord and his willingness to bless me. (Psalm 21:6,7)
The Lord rescues me, delivers me, and delights in me because I am committed to Him. (Psalm 22:8)
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. (Psalm 23:1)
