  1. Colossians 3:2 - "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." This is a time to be fully aware and fully impassioned for the things of God. Do not let the noise and distraction of the things of the world steal your attention in this critical hour! Set your full affections completely on the things that are above and don't be swayed by anything this world has to offer. When your mind is cluttered with religious mindsets (which often we don't realize), they block the light of revelation. There are spirits attached to strong mindsets, and people become immovable. Prayer: LORD JESUS, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WALKS SILENTLY IN THE INNERMOST SANCTUARY OF MY SOUL. SO CAREFULLY YOU WEAVE YOURSELF INTO THE FIBERS OF MY BEING. TOUCH ME WITH YOUR CLEANSING, RENEWING FIRE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  2. Psalm 1:2,3 - "in His law he MEDITATES day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper." There are specifically three areas of meditation that we can engage in as Believers so that our heart and mind will be captured in the glory of Who God is. These areas include the Word of God, the voice of God, and the testimonies of God. 1. The Word of God: – Cleanses, purifies and protects the heart (Psalm 119:11) – Separates the soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12) – Brings light of revelation, driving out the darkness (Psalm 119:130) – Washes by the Spirit (Ephesians 5:26) – Prospers our spirit, soul, and body (Deuteronomy 28:1-2) – Brings healing (Proverbs 4:22) – Revives (Psalm 119:25) 2. The Voice of God Another powerful area of meditation is the revelation that God gives to us through His voice speaking personally to us. How is God speaking to you? Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice...and they follow Me" (John 10:27). If we don't have expectation, then we have no faith to hear. Have faith that God wants to flow through your life to impact others. Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Our belief and faith give us the following action of diligent pursuit to lay hold of the reward that He has for us. Believe God, hear His voice, and diligently seek Him. 3. The Testimonies of What God Has Done What prayers has He answered in your life? What is your personal testimony of coming to Jesus Christ? Then we also have all of the testimonies of what God has done in the Bible. These are our own testimonies as well, through inheritance. We see it all through the Psalms, how we are to remember the works of the Lord. We should meditate on all the things that Jesus did in His earthly ministry: the miracles, healings, deliverances, including other acts of His love and truth. The Book of Acts is a book of the things God did, how He worked through His Church, showing He is alive and active. MAKING THE CONSCIOUS CHOICE The fact is that we are always meditating on something, thinking about something, or giving our thoughts over to something. Psalm 1 makes it clear that there is a right kind of meditation that God wants us to engage in. Choosing what we meditate on is hugely important because it is the difference between meditating and "communing" with the spirit of the world versus the Spirit of God. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  3. John 8:36 - "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Break free from everything that hinders the work of His Spirit in your lives. Be free from all false expectations, man's expectations, religious expectations; every expectation that does not come from the hope and expectancy that He gives to you. So you must be emptied of all the things that hold you in the earthly realm, repent and turn away from those things that break His heart. Set your priorities in order for He is taking you into another realm of your faith walk. His love is reaching to the depth of your being -- this is His being poured out upon you and manifesting in you. This realm is His Kingdom in you; this is dominion, your CALLING in Christ, your place in His Kingdom. So step in, step out of the boat and walk on the water in this New Faith Realm—ONLY BELIEVE and you will receive. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  4. "And said, Verily I say to you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven." - Matthew 18:3 It is very important that the foundation upon which we stand is "The Rock," our Lord Jesus Christ, and that our life is hidden "in Christ." If our spiritual experience is resting on sand, that is, if we are trusting our own abilities, we will fail when the pressures of life increase. We can walk in stability and confidence with Him if we hold to the potential that rests within us before the Lord in simple child-like trust -- we will be enabled to rise above the limitations that we place upon ourselves, and enter into all that He has made available for us. When difficulties affect us and we begin to lose our spiritual direction, if we will become quiet and look to the Lord, we will recognize that beneath our vacillations is a layer of spiritual strength and hope that had been deposited within us through our identification with Jesus in His death and resurrection -- which was confirmed in the peace that came when He took up His abode within us. We need only to realize that we are a new creation - that old things have passed away and our life is hidden in Jesus, and that our strength comes from Him. With David, we should be able to say, "The Lord is my light and my salvation..." (Psalm 27:1). If we will meditate on the past victories that we gained by placing our lives in His hands, this will become personally real to us. Paul said, "I press toward the mark..." (Philippians 3:14). This "mark" is our CALLING in Christ. We look past our vacillations to see there is within us a deep inner determination to press through to the place where our responses no longer emerge from our Adamic nature, but from the new creation that we have become. 5. "Therefore, prophesy and say unto them, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel." - Ezekiel 37:12 Here God makes us a promise that He will bring us out of the darkness, opening our graves and allowing us to live again! We just have to listen and obey God's Word. Are there areas of your life that need a touch of Heaven? Ezekiel promises us that God is always watching, always ready to breathe new life into these dead and lifeless areas of our lives. To be resurrected means far more than just bringing someone back to life. To be resurrected by the power of God makes us stronger, more mature and more powerful than we were before! And God always makes good on His promise of resurrection to anyone who belongs to Him. He alone can inject new life into dead places. All we have to do is ask, obey, wait, and receive. RESURRECTION ALREADY RESIDES IN THE CHURCH "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." - Romans 8:11 The term resurrection means to stand up again. This can be taken literally, to mean reviving an individual to a living state of consciousness, or it can be taken figuratively, as in reviving profound spiritual truths so we can experience God's tangible peace, joy, and love. And this can be applied to any area. There is no situation too hard for God to overcome—not physical death, not spiritual death, not emotional death. This same gift of the resurrection already resides in each and every one of us, as God's children, when His Spirit lives inside us. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  6. "The Lord blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys." - Job 42:12 NIV From time to time we actually have to come out of one project completely before God can transition us to the next assignment. Something that is closing in our lives can make us feel like we are out of control, going to shipwreck, or worse yet, never able to rebound. Sometimes our calendars, schedules, and plans just don't line up with where God wants to take us any more, so He decides to change our course. "Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long." - Psalm 25:5 NIV God knows what you are about to walk through and He is already prepared for it. Don't be afraid to share how you really feel with Him. He wants to hear what you have to say about it. At first it can feel breathtaking and even fearful, but God is there. He is in the heights, the depths, and the small steps of faith you are about to take. STEPPING OUT OF THE BOAT Some of the steps ahead will be like walking on water. Unfortunately, we don't get to pick the visibility of the water or the depth of the ocean that the Lord asks us to step out on. "Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?" - Psalm 139:7 NIV Rest assured that God never closes a door unless He intends on opening something else for you. He will not leave you abandoned! "Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground; they will lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in Me will not be disappointed" (Isaiah 49:23 NIV). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  7. Ephesians 3:20 – “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Out of the box thinking realizes there is no box. You are the limitless PURPOSE and MANIFESTATION of God’s glory, released into the earth with the same anointing, mission, and message Jesus had over 2,000 years ago. You now live beyond the dimension of needing your needs met, and you live in that kingdom dimension of being the conduit of blessing for others. Out of the box thinking and living eliminates both the box and the notions of religious confinement that the box created. You now understand that the glory that was on Jesus is now on you…so you are God’s glory walking throughout the earth called on assignment to be the answer to someone else’s question and the breakthrough for someone else’s bondage. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  8. The day must come when we leave the wilderness and begin to take the Promised Land of God's intentions. The light of the Glory of His Presence rises upon those who have broken through in contending for the Glory -- doing exploits in His name, they have travailed with the Father and carry His burden for the lost and for the world. Those who have travailed with Him will enter into union with Him; they will carry His authority and the strategies to complete His will to save and transform nations and people groups. God does not exclude any who are willing! ABIDING IN HIM KEEPS OUR DESIRES HEAVENLY According to Ezekiel 36:36-37, first we must ASK—we must desire to advance His purpose for our life (John 15:7) and receive it in our spirits as our calling in Christ. Second, we put our finger on His promises in scripture that apply to our calling and say, "As You have said Lord." We hold God to His promises as David did: "You, my God, have revealed to Your servant that You will build a house for him. So Your servant has found courage to pray to You. You, LORD, are God! You have promised these good things to Your servant" (1 Chronicles 17:25-26). "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1 God cannot bless us beyond our belief, and belief will lead to action—to contending! Job 22:28 states, "YOU SHALL DECREE A THING AND IT SHALL BE ESTABLISHED FOR YOU." To decree a thing is to contend for it! The Hebrew word for decree also means to decide, to make a firm decision, one where we will not waver; and the Hebrew word for establish means to rise. A mature Christian will have learned the discipline of contending through much trial and tribulation and will see the rising of the vision and the dream. DECLARE AND DECREE It is time for the sons and daughters of God to TAKE the Promised LAND – Time to declare and Decree. Our promised land is the fulfillment of God's purpose for our life. Esther and Mordecai prayed, they fasted, then they decreed the deliverance of the Jewish people. (Esther 8:5) The Lord is ready to perform His Word, saying, "TAKE OWNERSHIP! The Kingdom of God belongs to the Believers (Luke 18:16)! Set your focus on the eternal not the temporal. Ask large! Bring all your appeal and petitions before the court of Heaven; the time of fulfillment has come. Show your faith; give Him something to work with. He is ready to perform His word! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  9. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end." Instead of losing heart in 2020 and wondering if something will come alive, begin to actively take control of the situation and "call into being things that were not." God created the universe with the creative, miracle-working power of His Word and He asks us to do the same, even today. The enemy wants you to doubt and not believe. He has set up a garrison against you, but realize that this means your promotion is for real. Anytime the enemy chooses to stand up against you, the Word on the inside of you has become a challenge to him, and you can be sure that what is on the inside of you will come to pass. Keep on declaring God's purpose for your life and all the scripture that supports it. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  10. "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14 DESIRING HIS PRESENCE It is certainly a time of calling upon the name of the Lord and praying but we don't want to forget the rest of the Scripture...it is also a time to seek His face. To seek means to desire, to seek to secure oneself to, and to require. The word "face" in this Scripture means to seek His presence, to turn toward Him, and to make a clear path to God. We are to desire God, to secure ourselves to Him. We are to desire His presence, to turn toward Him and to remove anything that would stop us from being in His presence. That is what God means by seeking His face. It is easy to pray a short prayer and go about your day. Often, it is much more difficult to pray from a place of seeking God and seeking His face. The latter takes time, it takes focus and it takes setting your own agenda aside and surrendering entirely to God alone; but when you do this, the reward is great. It will take putting God and His presence first – before work, family, ministry and anything else that may demand your attention. THE TIME IS NOW In Psalm 27:8 David said, "When You said, 'Seek My face' my heart said, 'Thy face, Lord, I will seek.'" God is saying to you, "Seek My face." What is your response? Is it like David's? Are you saying, "Thy face God, I will seek." Or are you saying, "When I get caught up at work, or when things slow down a bit..."? The time is NOW and by next month "this time" may have passed. Seek Him now, while He can be found, as the Scripture says (Isaiah 55:6). Acting in the spirit of sacrifice He will come to you and His reward will be with Him: Wherever His presence is, healing is. Wherever His presence is, restoration is. Wherever His presence is, peace is. Wherever His presence is, prosperity is. We WILL See the Goodness of God Psalm 27 ends with "I would have lost heart if I had not believed I would see the goodness of God in the land of the living." Psalm 27:13 Seeing the goodness of God – here, in our life – is the fruit of intimacy with God; it is part of the reward. Seek Him now. Seek His face and see His Goodness. Can you sense His desire for time with you? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  11. Luke 3:16-17 - "John answered and said to them all, "As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." Now the question is, who will burn in this generation? Who will press and receive a revelation that has the power to affect an entire group of people? The Father wants to empower His people with faith and insight that activates His plans in the earth now! He is raising up a people that will burn with revelation and release the Kingdom. In Exodus 3, Moses is on the mountain of God when he encounters a burning bush. From the midst of fire, the voice of the Lord spoke, calling him back to purpose. There is a desperate need in this hour for people to hear clear direction and encounter the fiery presence of God. A sense of lethargy and confusion has gripped the hearts of many. BURNING FOR HIS GLORY God's voice dwells in the midst of the fire! We are not just to look for burning bushes but we are actually to become burning bushes for His glory! Fire consumes the sacrifice, and in Romans 12:1-2 we are told to surrender our bodies and renew our minds. As we lay our flesh upon His altar, we are consumed! "For our God is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:29 We are called to burn for Him and be voices of awakening. The Father desires to set regions ablaze with holy fire, but it will take surrendered ones who have been in His presence and are burning. There are heavenly plans for transformation, awakening, and outpouring, but the plans look much different than the wisdom of man. It will take those who fully yield and obey to give birth to Heaven's agenda for this hour. Mark 9:49 - "For everyone will be salted with fire." We must push forward with our spiritual eyes open and carry a strong spirit of faith and authority in advancing His purpose for our life. Bind up all false spirits and shake off their attacks. We are called to burn for Him! We are called to fuel the fires of revival and gain ground. We are called to be Heat Seekers! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  12. Hebrews 13:5 - “...I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” Do you see any storms on the horizon? Don't quit! Make the decision to press through, to press forward, to keep pressing on, even in the face of certain adversity; God has not brought you this far to drop you now! Declare and meditate on what you know to be the scriptural truths of God! You KNOW He is good! You KNOW He is faithful! You KNOW He will never leave you or forsake you He will bring you through this storm! He has taken you through every other one you have faced in your life. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9). Keep speaking the promises and know that He is speaking to you, too! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  13. "So may all Your enemies perish, Lord! But may all who love You be like the sun when it rises in its strength..." - Judges 5:31 There is a rising coming for the Body of Christ – a rising within Him, in His ways and in His love to be free in Christ. We are rising up in the glory of the Son. A "rising" can also mean a revolution or revolt – it is time to rise up and push back the powers of darkness trying to encroach and violate our lives! We are being called to rise up and take our places in history; to rise up and seize the day. We are being called to rise to the occasion for which we were created (God's PURPOSE for our life). Rise to believe that you can overcome, because much greater is He that lives in you – the One who has overcome the world – than the one who is under your feet! The force that is holding the world together lives inside of us! With the grasping of this truth comes the revelation that nothing is or can be impossible to those who believe in Him. EMERGING FROM THE CRUCIBLE OF FIRE After death comes resurrection. There are a people hearing the sound and they are rising, coming out of graves where strongholds and circumstances have kept them bound. The cry of the Lord can be heard -- "Be loosed and arise to life, to the upward call in Christ." People are coming out of the crucible of fire, prepared as agents of transformation. God is saying, "This is the time to make your voice heard!" - Esther 4:14 This is an hour to make our voices heard, to be very courageous and bold (with wisdom). God is listening. He desires to hear our courageous voices proclaiming His Word, that we become living testaments of His truth: "You who dwell in the gardens, the companions listen for your voice – let me hear it!" - Song of Solomon 8:13 It is time to speak and shout and let our voices be heard. It is time to LIVE but to live as ones who do not love our lives so much as to be afraid of death (see Revelation 12). Dead men don't fear, dead men don't get offended. Dead men become fully alive in Christ! Jesus said that if we were willing to lose our lives we would gain it! CREATIVE CONTAINERS OF GLORY We have been in a new time to run a race of strength. It is time to run with all our might; time to live, time to speak, time to write if you are called to write; time to sing that song. It is time to truly live like we have never lived before. Time for our God-ordained container, representing our life's vision and call, to come forth. There are many unique containers, designed specifically to fit our portion of the harvest. Ask God, "What is my container? What is its structure, its dynamics, its purpose in the harvest?" God is trying to break through our old mindsets to conform and transform us to see and understand in new ways. He wants us to have the renewed mind of Christ to meet the challenges of the harvest with innovative and creative containers of glory. He is shaking things that are stagnant and old that cannot serve Him in this distinctive hour. A container is a vessel created for reflecting your light that has come (see Isaiah 60:1). You are a container of God's glory, carrying the treasures, goods, and supplies of the Kingdom to a parched Earth. You are an exceptional vessel, with a specialized call and a matchless container God has fashioned just for you. Let your light shine, let your container fulfill its call in preparing the highway for our God! "Listen! It's the voice of someone shouting, 'Clear the way through the wilderness for the LORD! Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God!'" - Isaiah 40:3 NLT ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  14. Galatians 2:20 - "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." When we completely lay down our lives, not caring what the outcome is, then we make room for Christ to be fully formed in us (see Galatians 4:19). As that occurs, then it is no longer our faith that accomplishes the promises of God in our lives, rather, it is His faith. As He lives His life in and through us, His faith keeps us on the journey into all truth and ultimately to our destinies. As we walk more and more in this reality, we find that we no longer ask for much. We ask and speak the Word over the circumstances and situations in our lives, however, we access His faith for the outcome and realize that He will not fail and our future is in His success and not our own. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
  15. Amos 9:13 MSG - "...Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won't be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings!" Your promotion will produce personal chaos. This is a blessing and not a curse. Know that if God is with you, you won't fail. Cling to God tightly and press forward. Don't return to the familiar or the comfortable. The cloud has moved. His grace is now found in the new place and not the old. He is gently reminding you that He has crowned you with glory and honor (Psalm 8:5 ). You are to rise and shine...not duck and hide. Promotion is a visible event. It's not done in secret. Like Joshua, you will experience the Lord exalting you in front of people in order to establish His assignment on your life. Accept your assignment and don't take off your crown. Staying visible is valuable, and this is what glorifies God. "Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward." (Hebrews 10:35) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com/
