The Great Army.

 

This great army is so massive that there has never been anything like it or will again. Russia will call on former Soviet nations to come with them, plus three other nations – Iran, Ethiopia and Libya.

 

`…a people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations.` (Joel 2: 2)

 

`Persia, (Iran) Ethiopia, and Libya are with them…Gomer (Turkey) and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops, many people are with you. (Ez. 38: 5 & 6)

 

The Evil Plan.

 

The Russian leader will have an evil plan to go and get spoil from Israel.

 

`Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan. You will say, `I will go up against a land to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates to take plunder and to take booty…` (Ez. 38: 10 – 12)

 

The Attack.

 

`the Day of the Lord….. like the morning clouds spread over the mountains, a people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations.` (Joel 2: 1 & 2)

 

Over the mountains of the Golan heights come a wave of Russian war planes. They destroy everything in their path.

 

`A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; the land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; surely nothing shall escape them….. before them the people writhe in pain; all faces are drained of color.` (Joel 2: 3 & 6)

 

Then the ground invasion begins, going methodically throughout the towns killing all.

 

`They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; everyone marches in formation, and they do not break rank….they run to and fro in the city, they run on the wall; they climb into houses, they enter the windows like a thief. ` (Joel 2: 7 & 9)

going on the latest intel regarding Israel + Hezbullah things could very possibly get very serious as in a pre-emptive strike from Hezbullah. Israel has given Hezbullah until the 24 June to comply with Hezbullah moving away from its northern boundary position...

it might embolden Russia to make its move ....who knows only God knows. just now i am thinking about the sequence of events in regards to 'peace and safety,' and then sudden destruction...which for those of a pre-trib belief, believe that will trigger the Rapture Event.

'Peace + Safety' plan would most likely be implemented after the chaos of War/Rapture Event, imo

this i think would be after 3 1/2 years into the time of Jacob's Trouble aka the Tribulation. when this peace plan is in effect and Israel have a false sense of security

Hi mabel,

So glad to have a chat with you here. I agree with your sequence -

- Rapture / WAR / peace treaty. 

The world will then cry `peace and Safety` at last in the Middle East. But then `sudden destruction` as God`s word says. This will be the start of the trib, and Israel`s 7 final years of chastisement.

been thinking about sequence of events for a while now ...especially the 'peace and safety' and where on the time line events that is likely to happen.

You are doing well to even ask such important questions.

Now, Peace and safety comes AFTER the WAR, (Russian). First the war then a space while the world settles, then a few nations around Israel make peace with Israel. It is then the world gives a sign of relief and says `Peace and Safety` at last in the Middle East.

But, wait for it - sudden destruction.....the tribulation has begun.

one way or another Iran and its proxies the inner ring are not destined to destroy Israel....Russia and its Federation will be the next to go to war the outer ring ....

Iran is the outer ring that goes with Russia. Ez. 38: 5 calls it by its ancient name - Persia. 

The inner ring are - Iraq, Syria and Jordan, and Saudia Arabia.
