Daily Meditations And Affirmations - October 11, 2024
Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NKJV): "Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls – yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills."
Here is a beautiful picture of worshiping and rejoicing in God at all times, married with the promise that He WILL make you remarkable by His Spirit, even lifting you up to bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom. Exaltation, promotion in His high place, is a promise to all those who choose to rejoice in Him at all times. As we lay hold of joy in the Lord He fills us with fresh revelation daily that will lead us to our Christ calling as we continue to seek His purpose for our life! This is a key to your spiritual strength. Get ready for the new thing that will spring forth.
Break out of the old wineskin and receive the new that is filled with the new wine of compassion for the lost! His joy is a distinguishing mark separating those who live after the Spirit from those who live by the strong arms of the flesh.
Psalm 19 tells us that there are sounds and words released by creation itself that we may not be able to hear with the natural ear, but that go to the end of the world. The earth (creation) in unity releases glory to God, and their sound cannot be stopped! How much more should our sound be as sons and daughters created in His image!
It's time to decree out loud over yourself so that you can hear it: -- “What God has put in me will change lives.” Psalm 2 explains that Jesus is the "desire of nations." He put a yearning for Himself in us all. As we witness to people we become spiritual midwives as people are birthed into a relationship with Jesus. We now disciple them to understand and implement their identity in Christ so they can do the same for others, thereby, advancing God's Kingdom.
Affirmations:
I am like a ship that's been blocked by ice -- I will press through that blockade -- my way will open up and I'll find myself in new waters.
I listen for the instruction of the Holy Spirit as I bear fruit that remains for His advancing Kingdom through my Christ calling.
The light God is beginning to burn in me will draw many fish to me.
My supply is there -- I gain momentum -- I stoke my fire -- I break the coldness and the waters -- as I dwell in the Holy Spirit.
