1 Peter 2:9 - "But you are…a royal priesthood."

By what right do we become "a royal priesthood?" By the right of the Atonement.

Are we prepared to leave our self-absorbed existence and launch out into the priestly work of helping others with their spiritual lives in Christ? There is only one place where we are right, and that is in Christ Jesus.

Move on out in the reckless belief that the Redemption is complete and begin to demonstrate the life and priesthood of Jesus by pouring our lives into advancing His Kingdom, through apprehending the ascended life in Christ by abandoning the self-life, and discipling other believers into their Christ identity.

Numbers 13:33 - "And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, who come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight."

How does the devil see you? Does He see you as a terrifying and mighty warrior of God…or does he see you as a weak target he can prey on. If in your own sight, you're a weak, powerless Christian, the devil will run over you multiple times a day. But when you begin to see yourself as God sees you, as a conquering son or daughter of the Almighty God equipped with the very power of God Himself, the devil will want to steer clear of you.

If you are not strong in the Lord in your own sight, you need to change that. You need to get full of God's Word regarding your Christ identity, your right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. Turn the tables on the devil and let him find out what it feels like to be a grasshopper for a change.

Affirmations:

I bind and cast out those things that are unfruitful and I loose the blessings of God in my life through the confession of His word. (Matthew 16:19)

The Holy Spirit guides me into all truth and shows me things to come. (John 16:13)

I continually ask, seek, and knock concerning the things God has prepared for me as a spiritual mentor because Jesus says I will receive, find, and it will be opened for me. (Matthew 7:7,8)
