Taken all together, the yearly cycle of “rehearsals” portrayed, in type, God’s whole Plan of Redemption for the human race. That process begins with the sacrifice of our carnal nature – which nature resulted from Adam’s and Eve’s choices in Eden – and concludes with the complete restoration of the redeemed ones before the face of God in the New Heavens, New Earth, and New Jerusalem:
Revelation 22:4 They shall gaze upon His face, and His name shall be upon their foreheads.
