There is not much for me to add to the eloquently spoken words is - read Psalms. Check out all that David did and went through yet read his word and see the promises of God spoken by the Holy Spirit through David to you. When I was ill and needed cardiac ablation I went through the book and wrote down all the promises that God was directing to me. For protection, healing, love, forgiveness etc. I never cease to be amazed at the promises that I find and then use those promises in prayer to remind God of what He has promised. He said that His word will not return to Him void. May God help you and bless you.
