  1. Hello TsukinoRei, No one showed an interest in going further till now. Please review: The seven seal charts are based on this 2555 day chart. If you feel comfortable with the 2555 day chart we can proceed. In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  2. Matthew 13:13This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. With so many different interpretations of Bible Prophecy, is it possible that BP is designed as a parable, not meant for every believer to understand? In Yehoshua, Guy Smith

    Joel 2:32

Joel 2:32 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls. (NIV) So, what do you think God (through the prophet Joel) is trying to say in the above verse?
  4. The Seven Seals / Chart 1 copyrighted by Guy Smith 1997 Fair use for education and discussion purposes The Seven Seals / Chart 2/ The First Seal / The Anti-Christ With the opening of the first seal we are introduced to a rider on a white horse. Revelation 6: 1 I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. This rider appears to represent the Anti-Christ. Like Christ, which rides a white horse with a sword coming from His mouth, the second rider is also on a white horse but is in possession of a bow. Copyrighted by Guy Smith 1997 Fair use for education and discussion purposes Do you think the first rider represents the AC? The Seven Seals / Chart 3/ The Second Seal / War The rider on the red horse appears to represent war. Revelation 6:3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword. Copyrighted by Guy Smith 1997 Fair use for education and discussion purposes Do you think the second rider represents war? The Seven Seals / Chart 4/ The Third Seal / Famine The rider on the black horse is represents famine. Revelation 6: 5When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine! Copyrighted by Guy Smith 1997 Fair use for education and discussion purposes Do you think the third rider represent famine? The Seven Seals / Chart 5/ The Fourth Seal / Death The rider on the pale horse appears to represents death. Revelation 6: 7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. Copyrighted by Guy Smith 1997 Fair use for education and discussion purposes Do you think the fourth rider represents death? The first four seals occur in period one (the beginning of birthpains) of the "final seven years." In Yehoshua, Guy Smith

  6. We all seem to have a different perception of what the GT entails. Your thoughts?

  11. The 70th Week of Daniel is a seven year period which begins with the confirmation of a covenant and ends with the advent of Christ and the start of the Millennial rule of Christ. This seven year period can further be divided into four smaller periods of time. These four periods are outlined by Christ in Matthew 24: 1. The Beginning of Birth Pains (The first 3 ½ years) Matt24:1-14 2. The Great Tribulation (The second 3½ years) Matt 24:15-28 3. The Wonders in the Heavens Matt 24:29 4. 12. The prophet Daniel states that, an individual known as “he,” will “set up” an “abomination that causes desolation.” Daniel 9:27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. NIV The way Daniel 9:27 reads is as if there are two different individuals. But Paul clarifies that the AofD “sets himself up” in God’s temple. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. NIV In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  13. Hello Gnomonist, Any thoughts on why God would provide end time believers with intricate time line information? In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  14. Hello Montana, Sorry, I disagree. In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  15. Montana, I am going to post another chart, concerning the 2300 prophecy (Daniel 8), in a few days. We can discuss the duration of the first half of the Trib at that time. In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  16. Hello Joi, There is one more parallel. God forewarned Noah of the flood (the prophecy). God provided Noah with survival instructions. Today, God has forewarned believers of the coming Great Tribulation (the prophecy). The question is: Does God provide GT survival instructions (and I don’t mean the rapture) like he provided Noah? Think about it. God forewarned Noah of the flood and when it was coming. If God had not provided Noah with “survival instructions,” then what benefit was it to forewarn him if he was only going to perish with the rest of humanity? Similarly, since God has forewarned us of the coming GT and provided us with great timeline detail, what does it benefit us if we are only going to perish in the AC's dragnet, unless He has provided us with “survival instructions”? BTW the timeline details are part of the survival instructions. In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  17. Hello Joi, Presently, no one knows the day or hour of Christ's advent. However, unless Daniel the prophet is in error, the minute the AC confirms an undisclosed covenant, Christ is promised to return 7 years later Daniel 9:27. And Christ is supposed to return 3 1/2 years after the AC walks into the yet-to-be-built temple and proclaim himself to be God Matthew 24:15. So yes, presently no one know the day or hour, but there will come a time for those who "watch." In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  18. Is the coming GT (mark-of-the-beast) going to be less horrific and less thorough than the holocaust in Nazi Germany?
  19. warrior, You stated: yes, the Tribulation starts when Israel signs the infamous 7 year peace treaty it is only my belief, but I think that the peace treaty will start the building of the temple and half way through it the AC will be killed My response: I agree. In Yehoshua, GuySmith
  20. The 70th Week of Daniel is a seven year period which begins with the confirmation of a covenant and ends with the advent of Christ and the start of the Millennial rule of Christ. This seven year period can further be divided into four smaller periods of time. These period are outlined by Christ in Matthew 24: 1. The Beginning of Birth Pains (The first 3 ½ years) Matt24:1-14 2. The Great Tribulation (The second 3½ years) Matt 24:15-28 3. The Wonders in the Heavens Matt 24:29 4. The Day of the Lord 2555 days The Bible provides us with the durations of these four periods which total 2555 days exactly. Start by multiplying the seven years that make up the tribulation period by 365 days that make up a year (7 x 365= 2555 Days). (Though the Jewish calendar was made of 360 days, ancient scholars were aware of 365 days years. To make their calendar work, they would add, every six years, an additional 30 day month.) We begin with the two periods that are recognized by most. The Great Tribulation Period which has a duration of 1260 days. Rev12:6 The Day of the Lord is one day. 2 Peter 3:10c. The duration of the Wonders in the Heavens can be found in the account of the two witnesses Revelation 11:3. It is the 3 ½ days that they lay dead on the streets of Jerusalem. Notice that they do their works for the 1260 days of the GT, lay dead in Jerusalem for 3 ½ days then are resurrected on The Day of the Lord. The remaining 1290 days of The Beginning of Birth Pains can be found in Daniel 12:11. In review: 1. The Beginning of Birth Pains 1290 days 2. The Great Tribulation 1260 days 3. The Wonders in the Heavens 3 ½ rounded up to 4 days 4. The Day of the Lord 1 day Grand total of 2555 days or seven years to the day. JMHO In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  21. Hello Onelight, With all the prophetic scripture pertaining to the AC, is it not possible that he is revealed prior to mid-trib? Which raises another question: are we railroading this thread with this line of discussion? In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
  22. Silly me, And here I thought this thread was reserved for posties to discuss the issues.
  23. Hello to those accusing one_christian_warrior of date setting, At this point, I disagree with one_christian_warrior's assessment, but is he guilty of date setting just because he believes that the trib has begun? 1. If the AC actually confirmed the covenant which starts the final seven (as predicted by the prophet Daniel) and a brother or sister brings it to the bodies attention, would that be considered date setting? 2. If the AC actually confirmed the covenant which starts the final seven (as predicted by the prophet Daniel) isn't the advent of Christ supposed to occur seven years latter? In Yehoshua, Guy Smith
