  1. Mark 3:27 NLT - "For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like satan and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house" (Matthew 12:29). Christ in you is the one who is stronger and able to overcome. This is not the only place where the Lord plainly described a man as a "house" or habitation of the evil one. In the same chapter, He speaks of the unclean spirit cast out and, finding no other habitation, says, "I will return to my house" (see Matthew 12:44) and because no other had taken his place, he is able to "enter and dwell there" (see Matthew 12:45) with seven others more evil than himself. The key to real freedom and overcoming the strongman is to understand your Christ identity and start walking in God's purpose for your life. Where satan has been commanded to leave, fill it up with a consecration to your calling in Christ. Establish His presence and cultivate vision. THE MINISTRY OF BINDING AND LOOSING The reason we have authority over any strongman is because Jesus defeated them at the Cross. We simply need to apply it though the ministry of the Holy Spirit! We know that many infirmities and sicknesses today are the work and oppression of the devil (see Acts 10:38) and Jesus has given us power over all the power of the enemy (see Luke 10:19). As II Corinthians 4:4 shows us, satan is the "god of this world." He is the strongman with power to steal, kill, and destroy (see John 10:10) and he has the ultimate power of death (see Hebrews 2:14). The kingdoms of the world and their power and glory are the devil's (see Luke 4:5-6). Jesus has given us the ministry to binding and loosing what has already been bound and released in Heaven because of His finished work! " I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19).NASB VICTORY OVER STRONG MEN The Apostle Paul instructs the Church at Corinth how to fight against and "destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God" (see II Corinthians 10:5). One way we can bind and weaken any demonic stronghold is by setting the captive free through Jesus and moving in our Christ authority, enforcing God’s promises. As we set the oppressed free, we weaken the strongman! We must remember, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds" (II Corinthians 10:4). Jesus now gives authority and power to us. "Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every sickness" (Matthew 10:1). Prayer with fasting intensifies faith, and faith will break strongholds. "Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, 'Why could we not cast him out?' However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (Matthew 17:19, 21). Everyone has something that they are facing which they must endure and overcome -- the sin that keeps repeating itself "that so easily entangles." PREPARED FOR BATTLE Galatians 5:17 - " The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions."NLT When the stubborn sin begins to manifest, the divine way of victory does not permit our doing anything at all -- anything that is to say, outside of Christ. The fight with the flesh is not ours, but the Holy Spirit's ("for these are opposed to each other") -- it is He, not we, who meets and deals with it. So, when the difficult sin begins to exhibit, then stand aside and refuse to come out of cover and act out from ourselves so that the Holy Spirit is free to do His work – free, that is to meet and deal with the flesh in us (thereby overcoming the sin). Galatians 5:16 - "Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh" If we live in the Spirit, if we walk by faith in the risen Christ, we can truly "stand aside" while the Spirit gains new victories over the flesh every day. Affirmations: By depending on the Holy Spirit, He sets me free from the sin that is holding me down. By allowing the Holy Spirit to deal with my potential sin I am preparing for the new thing that God has for my life. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. Before you actually come to recognize your authority in Christ, there may be resistance to the new work of the Spirit in you. This resistance can be internal or external, and sometimes it can come from those around you. Maybe others haven't fully realized what God is doing in you yet. But as you stay yielded to God, you can trust Him and be secure in your oneness with Jesus, even when it takes time to get established. Give glory to God by magnifying the Blood of Jesus and the power that abides here. You are never out of right standing with God - all of your sins are forgiven (past, present, and future) and there is nothing that can hinder you from actively bearing fruit that remains for God’s Kingdom. Recognize how important it is for you to understand that you walk in the favor of God as you implement your calling in Christ. Be awakened and be aware of the authority that Jesus has given you as part of your Christ identity as a son of God. Here is the key to standing in the authority God has given you: Declare His covenant by saying, "In Jesus' name it shall be done!" It is time to prophesy over the waters—polluted waters of discontent, waters of insufficiency, waters of unfruitfulness and barrenness, and waters of sickness and ill health. Declare, "God is healing the waters and turning the bitter into sweet!" Decree as Elisha did: "Never again!" (2 Kings 2:21) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Luke 11:13, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him." In the story of the prodigal son where the father killed the fattened calf and gave the returned son the signet ring and the robe -- the elder brother was hugely upset and complaining. The father's response to the elder son was, "All I have is yours..." Luke 15:31, "And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'" In other words the father was saying, "It has been here for you the entire time." The father shows us how this elder son, which represents someone caught up in the rituals of religiosity, never accessed what had rightfully been his all along. TURNING THE TIDE One of the most powerful ways we can "turn the tide" of what is going on in our lives and the things going on around us is through our surrendered worship. Maybe you feel like the tide is against you right now. Realize that you can turn the tide through your simplicity of worship to the Lord. Through the spirit of worship we are able to access the realms of glory where revelation flows (Revelation 19:10). ACCESS A FREEDOM CONSCIOUSNESS The Word of God is truth but it needs to be accompanied with the Spirit of Revelation, just as Jesus told Peter that He would build His Church on the rock of revelation. Matthew 16:17-18, "Jesus answered and said to him, 'Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in Heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.'" What Jesus was referring to here was not a one-time event in Peter's life or in our lives, but a continual flow of the Spirit of Revelation in us (Ephesians 1:17). Without the light of revelation making God's Word alive to us, it is still just ink on paper. God's Spirit makes the Word of God alive in our hearts (through affirmation, meditation, and visualizing the Word), thereby, propelling us into a place of living light and revelation concerning the truth of God. Psalm 119:105, "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Our worship powerfully transforms us and the atmosphere around us because it has an innate heavenly multi-faceted effect upon our lives. Worship: (in the context of vocalization and surrender to God): Causes us to be filled with a Holy Spirit consciousness, making us habitations of God. Changes the spiritual climates surrounding us. Refreshes our spirit, soul, and body. Enables us to enter into the courts of the Lord. Establishes the Lordship of Christ in our hearts. Ephesians 5:18-20, "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." ACCESSING OUR VAST INHERITANCE Realize that the Holy Spirit is an essential ingredient for your life to flourish by leading you into an understanding of God's Christ calling on your life getting you to a place where you can bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom.. Get your fresh bread from the Holy Spirit. Turn the tide of your life through the simplicity of devotion and worship. If you need to learn how to worship, then ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Yield yourself to God casting everything you are and have upon Him. Jesus said, in Luke 11:13, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him." Realize what your Father has for you by asking, knocking, and seeking until you come to understand God's PURPOSE for your life, and begin to turn the tide through aggressively discipling new believers into their Christ identity, thereby, advancing His Kingdom. A fresh heart of worship will break you through to a new place where the rivers of living waters flow freely out of the depths of your heart! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. If Believers were called to "eat" of the Lord's body and blood (John 6:53–58), what did He eat? Answer: He feasts on your praise and your worship! True worship, whether offered in strength or in weakness, is real food to Christ, just as the sacrifice of His body and blood is real food—living bread and water—to us. Our worship and intimate fellowship is a reasonable service and a "fair exchange." God has chosen to be with us in this realm, just as He hopes we will choose to be with Him in His! The incredible beauty of Christianity is that abiding in Christ is not limited to our strength alone; when we abide in Him by seeing His love flow into our heart and then, back to Him --, He also abides in us by nourishing our hearts and imagination with His love. Healing for the body and hope for the soul are forever accessible through open-hearted intimacy. The ascended life – living from our intimacy with Jesus – dwelling in that sense of His presence and living from there releases revelation into our life. Feel His cross – feel His blood – It is real. It is! You must have spiritual hunger, a strong prayer life, as well as time affirming and meditating on the Word to have the Holy Spirit move you into higher and more efficient states of mind. 5. Stand firm and do not be moved! As believers, we are rooted and grounded in His magnificent love. Because Jesus overwhelms our heart as we meditate on His love flowing into our heart so that we can nourish the lives of others with it, we are established in His love and we can have a peace that passes natural understanding. And we have COURAGE, the depth of which is confidence in the Lord – we become a risk taker and get out of the boat and walk on the water. "And that Christ will make His home in your hearts, through faith. I pray that you will have your roots and foundations in love so that.....you will have the power to understand how broad and long and deep is Christ's love. " - Ephesians 3:17 This place of trust is beyond the natural ability of a person. It comes only through a relationship with the Lord, who will lead us and bring to pass all He has purposed for us (our CALLING in Christ). As we are directed by Him, we can also move out of the confines and limitations of what we have experienced in the past. As believers, we declare that we, "Trust in the LORD with all [our] heart, and lean not on [our] own understanding; in all [our] ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct [our] paths." - Proverbs 3:56 GOD-EMPOWERED BOLDNESS As we come to understand our authority and dominion in Christ, this creates in us PERSEVERANCE THROUGH OUR FAITH as we hear and are led by Him. Holy perseverance is God-empowered boldness or courage that enables us deep within to persevere in advancing in His purpose for our life. One way we can define perseverance is simply to stay the course. This is a powerful blessing from the Lord that enables us to cross over and possess our land of promise and fruition. It is a work of the Holy Spirit within that enables us to have strength to stay the course, regardless of present circumstances or situations. This is what the prophet Isaiah wrote about: "Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice." - Isaiah 41:10 AMP HERE IS THE INCREDIBLE ASSURANCE: You can stay the course in the Kingdom elevating calling for your life He has given you because of the understanding of your Christ identity and the enabling strength of the Lord for you and in you! As you affirm and meditate on the promises of the Lord, the Holy Spirit will release an even greater strengthening deep within so that you will stand firm in the ascended life in Christ that is promised in scripture. As you lean into the Lord, you will go from strength to strength with deep courage to believe for the impossible to be possible thereby advancing God's Kingdom in the earth as you disciple others into a higher understanding of Jesus and His purpose for their life. 6. "Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." (Psalm 23:6) Ask Him! What do you need? What does the destiny He has placed in you require? Dream with Him again. Go back to the drawing board and believe beyond where you have been, and don't stop until what you envision looks impossible. You will now advance and plan -- move out of lack and into more than enough! Pioneer again with Him! It is time to finally move on from the place you are presently in.. It has served its purpose, but now the scenery must change, just like everything else has. You mustn't think your whole existence will be in the trenches. You are called to a war, but that doesn't mean you are meant to live in the valley of the shadow of death. He has been teaching you how to come up out of that place and live higher. He has been calling you up into new ways of viewing all that opposes you, so you aren't surrendering to the wrong thing. So now you are moving on from this place into a brand-new adventure. There will be many unknowns and many new roads to forge, but you will find your passion again and know He is running with you. It will keep requiring courage and letting go of doing things how you once did, but it will be full of so much joy as you move from glory to glory in your Christ calling. Yes, the pages of history are before you, and you are going to write them with Jesus. Will you join Him? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. To secure our attention and place us on the pathway God desires, there are strategies that He employs that are very effective. As much as we are not to be ignorant of satan's devices (2 Cor. 2:11), we must be even more knowledgeable of the ways of the Lord (Ps. 25:4). Knowing God's ways will result in us experiencing His mighty acts (Ps. 103:7). Three ways God works to move us in a new direction: DISRUPTION OF OUR PLANS When stuck at an impasse, it is a natural tendency to return to familiar surroundings. We see this in the lives of the disciples after Jesus' death. They went back to fishing even though they had clearly been mandated to forsake their vocation and follow Christ (see Luke 5:10-11; John 21:3). Because they were commercial fishermen, there may even have been economic motives behind their actions. Nevertheless, we see clearly that there was no lasting provision and no permanent peace in returning to past environments. When God leads us out of a place of familiarity and the way forward is blocked, what is the solution? There are some breakthroughs reserved for us that can only be accessed through prayer. We must seek God until we receive a clear answer from Heaven. Whether it was Paul's night vision of the man in Macedonia summoning him, or the voice of Jesus speaking to the disciples on the seashore in Galilee, the New Testament Christians received clear direction from the Spirit and were able to regain momentum and experience breakthrough. DISSAPATION OF RESOURCES Just as Elijah had foretold, the word of the Lord came to pass. "And there was a severe famine in Samaria ..." (1 Kings 18:2). During the famine, God looked after Elijah. He gave him specific instruction relative to how he would be sustained. "Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.' So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook" (1 Kings 17:2-6). Cherith which means "place of covenant," was where the Lord demonstrated His faithfulness in taking care of Elijah. However, the day would come when the brook would run dry and the birds would no longer fly (see 1 Kings 17:7). Although Elijah had come to depend on such provision, God seemed to have no compunction at all in cutting off these resources. Has Your Brook Dried Up? Have you experienced something similar? Your streams of resource have dried up. During such a time, trust that the Lord will soon speak to you like He did to Elijah. "Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you'" (1 Kings 17:8-9). You will see that the place where He leads you will be the place where He feeds you. Where the Lord guides, He provides! DISSOLUTION OF RELATIONSHIPS Here is a powerful truth to embrace when a key connection you value has dissolved for no apparent legitimate reason: The Lord is turning the hearts of men in the direction He desires (Prov. 21:1) and is, in fact, making it easier for you to let go and move forward into your next assignment. Therefore, do not take the matter personally nor become bitter with people as though they are rejecting you. TRUSTING IN GOD'S GOOD GUIDANCE Sometimes Father God's ways do not make sense to us. Scripture even attests to this reality. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts" (Is. 55:9). No matter how it may appear on the surface, He is actively involved in the affairs of our lives. On occasion, He may even interrupt our plans resulting in us experiencing a sense of anxiety due to a perceived loss of control. However, as uncomfortable as we may become, we must trust that He is leading us along the best pathway for our lives. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye on you" (Ps. 32:8). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. "For nothing will be impossible with God." (Luke 1:37) God is filling you with fresh wonder and eyes to see the possibilities of developing a new Kingdom vision. Suddenly things will change as God fills you with hope. You will feel the burden and weight you've been carrying lift suddenly, and you'll be able to breathe deeply and relax. God is shifting your perspective to allow you to see what's possible with Him -- that which seemed impossible before. Excitement and hope will bubble up inside of you as you shift into believing it's possible. From this place, it becomes easy to develop vision of the future and of what's possible through your Christ calling. You receive fresh faith as you persistently affirm and meditate on the promises of God that are related to your vision. God is shifting your vantage point so you can see that nothing is impossible with Him. You may feel hopeless or not know how to move forward. Allow God to shift your way of thinking. Give your burdens to Him. Trust Him to help you and move on your behalf. Spend some time in His presence focusing on fruit-bearing for His Kingdom and watch what He does! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. In the flesh, we are confined in time; but not when we get into the spirit. When we are in the spirit, we can see both backward in time and forward. It is then that God can show us a word of knowledge about a person or situation or a "forward" which is a prophecy. A word of wisdom for us, or someone, could also be considered a "forward." This is because we have His Spirit in us and Ecclesiastes says that eternity is in us. "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in their hearts..." Ecclesiastes 3:11 THE MEMORY OF ETERNITY He has put eternity in our heart. As we get into the spirit and search the deep things of God, He will show you things to come, but the fact is that it has already been done in eternity -- we have a memory of eternity in our born-again spirit! Sometimes what the world calls Deja Vu (which means "already seen" in French) is simply you experiencing a word of knowledge about something in eternity that you already have within you, and has been there the whole time. The Holy Spirit is bringing all things to your remembrance. John 14:26, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." TIME TO CALL IT FORTH Many times, we see future things that have been there all along—settled in Heaven -- but it is time to call it forth into this place called time. That is why when we seek God and get into the spirit that we begin to get revelation for the future that is relevant for such a time as this! The key of David was intimacy with GOD -- entering into His presence. It was there that he would gain revelation. SUMMARY: It is already settled in Heaven! Enter into the place where He has seated you, where there is no time! Enter into His rest and you will see and hear and will decree that which is finished in eternity, into your situation on earth! For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal and will last forever! You have the authority to bring eternity into time through your worship of what He has already done! It is time to decree what you see! It is time to decree a thing and so shall it be established on the earth! It is time to bring the eternal into this place called time!" ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. "I was asleep but my heart was awake, A voice! My beloved was knocking" - Song of Solomon 5:2 THE KEY COMPONENTS OF CREATIVE PRAYER ARE: Passion – Immersion – Revelation – Creativity The best way to prepare for His revelation is to: immerse yourself in Scriptures concerning the topic at hand and to read books by others who have pursued the topic. Use journaling to ask God to show you the insights you need to master the experience. Go to sleep pondering the things you are learning, and as you lie in bed, you ask the Holy Spirit to grant you insight and revelation as you sleep. We know from scripture that our spirit stays awake all night and works on whatever we ask it to (Song of Solomon 5:2). When you awake in the morning -- the heart downloads the revelation it received during the night. When the flow is done, the devotional time is over. Repeat the same steps each day until full revelation, mastery, and true knowledge on the topic are yours. Follow the Spirit's flow wherever it takes you. Expect to experience knowledge, wisdom and insight beyond your natural abilities, for God is revealing ways of bearing fruit that remains for His Kingdom. "I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply when I am reproved. Then the Lord answered me and said, 'record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time.'" - Habakkuk 2:1-3 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. "He made him ride on the heights of the land and fed him with the fruit of the fields. He nourished him with honey from the rock, and with oil from the flinty crag." (Deuteronomy 32:13) Where the sting of hope deferred, heartbreak, and devastation has struck your life, He is now striking the rock on your behalf. From the rock will flow honey as a healing balm, to restore and repair the ruin caused from the pain and trauma of the onslaught of enemy attack. He will nourish you with honey and oil from the rock, for He is your Rock. His honey will bring deep, nourishing, and lasting healing to your soul. (Proverbs 16:24). Where life has stung you and left you rejected, robbed, and wounded, Jesus was wounded for all our transgressions. We are invited to exchange our hurts and pain to live empowered in the ascended life that He modled for us as co-heirs, adopted into the Kingdom of God, and authorized citizens of Heaven. God is pouring out His healing balm into your every wound and healing and restoring you from all their effects. Receive it! Even those that you thought would be impossible to reach will now become as the land where milk and honey will flow. This speaks of the river of living water you have been hoping for that is now flowing from you into the lives of the other new believers you are discipling into their Christ identity. These things are now being touched by the miracle-working God of the impossible to manifest in and through your life, and your "land" – your Christ calling. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." - 1 Peter 1:3 The Lord is redefining His Church and calling them out of a place of stagnancy and redundancy into a place of passion. Have you ever felt as if you were running around in circles, going through churchy motions but getting nowhere? When we lose sight of His Kingdom, our lives can be easily reduced to "playing church" which is no fun after a while. Jesus only spoke of His Church – or Ekklesia roughly 3 times and mainly in the book of Matthew (Matthew 16:18, 18:17). The Lord's original idea for His called-out assembly (Church) -- a supernatural army of sons and daughters pulsing with a passionate expression of His Kingdom on the earth. In order to see the fruit of Jesus on the earth, we must remember to live from the Kingdom of Heaven. The Church is not meant to be a box in which we contain and theorize Heaven. WE ARE GOD'S AMBASSADORS HERE ON EARTH Every believer has the potential to wake up and smell the glory -- that is, recognize who they are in Christ as sons and daughters. The Church of Jesus Christ should be a place of equipping the saints in: their Christ identity, their right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. Now they are ready to understand their CALLING in Christ and be propelled into their Kingdom destinies. The Church is not meant to be a place where we get trained to go through the motions, it's mean to be a gathering and equipping of the representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven so they can go out in their Christ calling and bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom. As we ascend into passionate, Kingdom-living which results in an effective, powerful Church as well as personal life, we have a passion to disciple new believers into their Christ identity and oversee their spiritual progress. CAMP AROUND THE CLOUD "So it was continuously; the cloud would cover it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. Whenever the cloud was lifted from over the tent, afterward the sons of Israel would then set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the sons of Israel would camp. At the command of the LORD the sons of Israel would set out, and at the command of the LORD they would camp; as long as the cloud settled over the tabernacle, they remained camped out." - Numbers 9:16-17 Kingdom people are led by the Spirit. We can experience an incredible stagnancy and/or burnout if we do not camp around the cloud of His glory. If you find yourself feeling stagnant or unproductive, challenge yourself to step out and find a mentor who can show you how to be effective in bearing fruit that remains for God’s Kingdom. 13. "...He has granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature..." - 2 Peter 1:4 Promises from God are met with contradiction in the natural realm. God is announcing a reality to you that will most likely appear very distant and disconnected from your present situation. God's promises are prophetic glimpses of the realities He wants to release into and through your life. SUPERNATURAL BENEFITS OF THE PROMISES OF GOD 1.) Promises Call You to Pull Tomorrow Into Today. Promises will always contradict your present circumstances because God wants you to collaborate with Him, through faith, to bring His promised reality into the present, so that His will can be done. 2.) Promises Teach You to Prophesy. Whether it's a prophetic word, a passage of Scripture the Holy Spirit is highlighting, or some expression of God speaking something to you, you have an assignment regarding HIS PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE --when you receive a promise -- align your words with what God is saying. This is the essence of the prophetic: You saying what God is speaking. 3.) Promises Demand Lifestyle Adjustment and Accommodation. The reason there are so many unclaimed, unreleased promises is because the transaction is a two-way street. We just want God to do everything and us do nothing. God, in His glory and love, entrusts promises to us. That's His part. At the same time, we need to steward and carry the promises to fruition. It's not enough to get a prophetic word in a gathering; some people think that just because they "got a word," God is obligated to fulfill it. The Word of the Lord places a demand on your life. Will you adjust everything -- your habits, your thought processes, your relationships, your pursuits -- or will you continue with "life as normal?" Normal will never be invaded by the supernatural as long as we are content to continue with the status quo rather than accommodate the promises of God. WHAT GOD IS SAYING TO YOU ABOUT HIS PROMISES 1.) The Lord wants you to inherit new promises: Position yourself and live in expectation! He is not looking for perfect people; just yielded ones. Mary was surely not perfect—she was simply willing to say "Yes" to an impossible promise. 2.) Ask the Holy Spirit for a fresh visitation of His resurrection power, breathing life upon those past-season promises and reviving them! "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" - Numbers 23:19 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. You may be in a season of trials and feel there is no hope. Peter talks about the fiery trials we go through so our faith can come out as pure gold – glory! Lay down your thoughts, your will, your plans; lay them under the winnowing fan of the glorified Son of Man. You are set free from the bonds of the past, the flesh, the soul -- all your sins are forgiven and you are always in right standing with God. Now let His glory be revealed through your Christ calling as you bear fruit that remains for His advancing Kingdom and move from glory to glory. Declare yourself wholly His, created for Him by His design. Into this truth, you must be aligned. For His glory to flood the earth, you must walk in the reality of the love of Christ pouring forth from your heart into the lives of others as you disciple them into their Christ identity so they can be effective in advancing His Kingdom. Now move forward from the place you are in today -- DECLARE you are a new creation, with your eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:1,2), fully equipped with nothing missing and nothing broken -- ready for Kingdom service and advancement. With your eyes fixed upon Jesus -- give Him full exultation among all people and nations. For His Bride to be seen in full array, let His glory be seen through you today! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. Regardless of what we see or don't see in our earthly circumstances, we can be encouraged by four things from Jesus in His teachings on prayer (Luke 11:1–13; 18:1–8): 1. Our prayers will be answered. "'So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you'" (Luke 11:9). 2. God will always answer our prayers with good things (even if they aren't in the form we expect). "'Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!'" (Luke 11:11–13). 3. God isn't responsible for unnecessary delay. "And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off?" (Luke 18:7). 4. Be persistent. If Jesus stressed the importance of persistence in prayer, we can know that our consistent prayers are doing something. "Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up" (Luke 18:1). "I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need" (Luke 11:8). 16. John 15:1,2,4 - "I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer. He cuts off every branch of Me that doesn't bear grapes. And every branch that is grape- bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more....Make your home in Me just as I do in you.....When you're joined with Me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant." - (The Message Bible) God must show us the great darkness we are in when our soul tries to find its ultimate happiness, consolation, and security in this world. For He has revealed the endless crop of boredom you will harvest when you base life on pleasure-seeking -- instead of seeking His PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE --- bearing fruit that remains as we advance His Kingdom in the earth. Be the Joshua God has ordained you to be – cross over and possess your land of promise and fruition (your Christ calling). Each time dryness comes -- and it will come back with greater ferocity, like a consuming hot wind -- stand your ground and retreat in quietness of soul. Thankfulness takes the sting out of adversity. Thankfulness opens your heart to His presence and your mind to His thoughts. Let His love flow into your heart as you abide in Him. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. Matthew 3:13-17 - 13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan [River], to be baptized by him. 14 But John tried to prevent Him [vigorously protesting], saying, “It is I who need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” 15 But Jesus replied to him, “Permit it just now; for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John permitted [it and baptized] Him. 16 After Jesus was baptized, He came up immediately out of the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he (John) saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him (Jesus), 17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased and delighted!” The Amplified Bible The Scripture (Matthew 3:13-17) tells us that when John baptized Jesus in the river, the heavens opened up with the voice of the LORD declaring that Jesus was the Son of God. Jesus says something very interesting during this moment when He tells John the Baptist that this had to be done in this particular manner. Although John felt insignificant, Jesus was saying that John had to be the one to activate the destiny. God is calling for the leaders of today to get back into the river where what you do will be in response to the open heavens. DISCOVERING OUR CALLING IN CHRIST The river has many applications throughout the Word of God and our spiritual walk. However, the most significant is that the river is a place of life. It's the place where we discover our true identities as sons of God (discovering our CALLING in Christ) and the place (spiritually speaking) where we are baptized in the Holy Spirit. When we recognize that we are positioned in the river, in the things that we set ourselves to do, we discover that Heaven is actually open and declare what is needed to advance His Kingdom as we activate our DESTINY and begin to bear fruit . John the Baptist was a forerunner. Not only a voice, but an individual who paved the way for what was coming. A forerunner is someone who is willing to make a way for others when there is no way. A forerunner is someone who isn't willing to go down the same road again and again, but one who is determined to discover beyond natural limitations or boundaries. LEADING SONS INTO THEIR DESTINIES In 2024 there is a call for forerunners to be fathers. There is a real need in our day to see fathers arise to not only love sons, but to lead sons into an understanding of their Christ identity while they come to understand their Christ calling. We need fathers who are willing to mentor sons and disciple them so they will be properly equipped for spiritual warfare. When fathers have no desire to go beyond the realm of the known, they begin to build their private empires to keep everyone close to them at all times. However, when a father has the heart of a forerunner, he will raise sons to give them a heart and passion for advancing God’s Kingdom. The Lord is calling you to the river. He is calling you to do what must be done and in so doing, utilize the open heaven and declare the mandate upon your life. What you do as a forerunner is just the beginning, while what you do as a father will turn generations to shift the fatherless to their PURPOSE in Christ. The river is calling YOU! 18. "The winter is past…the flowers are springing up, and the time of singing birds has come…the fig trees are budding, and the grapevines are in blossom," and then he repeats his invitation for her to arise and come away with him (Song of Solomon 2:13). Like in the Song of Solomon, you have entered into a new season. The Lord is beckoning you, wooing you, inviting you to come away from where you have been and arise into a new place with Him – a place of greater revelation and demonstration of all that He is. If you have noticed lately that things seem different, or you're not quite finding God "how" or "where" you have in the past, do not despair; do not be discouraged. He is simply answering your prayers. He is moving. He is inviting you to come along with Him. Arise Beloved! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. PRAYING FOR YOUR CHILDREN That they will know Christ as Savior early in life. Psalm 63:1, Timothy 3:15 That they will have a hatred for sin. Psalm 97:10 That they will be caught when guilty. Psalm 119:71 That they will be protected from the evil one in each area of their lives: spiritual, emotional, physical. John 17:15 That they will have a responsible attitude in all their interpersonal relationships. Daniel 6:3 That they will respect those in authority over them. Romans 13:1 That they will desire the right kind of friends and be protected from the wrong friends. Proverbs 1:10-11 That they will be kept from the wrong mate and saved for the right one. 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 That they, as well as those they marry, will be kept pure until marriage. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 That they will learn to totally submit to God and actively resist Satan in all circumstances. James 4:7 That they will be singlehearted, willing to be sold out to Jesus Christ. Romans 12:1-2 That they will be hedged in so that they cannot find their way to wrong people or wrong places and that the wrong people cannot find their way to them. Hosea 2:6 QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: What am I willing to do to affect the spiritual destiny of my children? Am I willing to pray the above verses over my children every day? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. DOING BUSINESS WITH GOD As Believers who are seeking to advance His Kingdom we have the right and privilege to do business with God. Why does we need us to do business with Him? 1. God has given mankind dominion over the earth. Therefore, we have the authority to release Him to work when we pray. God has never violated the free will that He gave humankind. Psalm 8:4-8 says: "What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen—even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas." He does not violate the authority He has given us. To do so would be a violation of our free will. Understanding how Kingdom authority works is absolutely essential if you want to walk in the fullness of God's purpose for your life. Why authority and dominion matter in our prayer closets: It matters because God has given dominion over the earth to men. Therefore, if we want Him to move on the earth, we must ask. History is full of stories of God moving when there was prayer. If we want God to move, we must pray. PRAYER OPENS DOORS AND PROVIDES A WAY WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY Father is so serious about our prayer assignment that He actually gave us the Helper to help us pray! The Holy Spirit of grace and supplication has several specific jobs, but one of them is to move through us in prayer. Romans 8:26-27 says: "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the Saints according to the will of God." We have dominion over the earth. If we desire to see God move on the earth, we must pray. God has always desired to converse and even reason with mankind. God desires the best for us now. Even if some things are stored up for the future, they can be pulled into the present by the prayer of faith. PULL ON GOD THROUGH FAITH-FILLED PRAYERS Then remember Moses, who interceded before God for the lives of the children of Israel. It was God's plan to wipe them out and raise up a new nation from the offspring of Moses. But Moses reasoned with God, and He changed His mind. God's reasoning is the kind of reasoning that God encourages us to logically present His Word back to Him in prayer. Psalm 138:1-3, "I will praise You with my whole heart; before the gods I will sing praises to You. I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your loving kindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your Word above all Your name. In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul." When we reason with God His way, we search out the deep things of His Word to discover His will for our lives individually and for the whole earth. Then, we go boldly before God's throne of grace as the kings over the earth that we are. From that position, we are to present our requests to Him with prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving—based on His own Word. When we pray God's own Word back to Him, we have assurance that we will receive whatever we request. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us this: "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: Starting in 2024, will I set myself apart to seek Him morning, noon, and night? Will I go boldly before His throne of grace, praying specific prayers with the expectation that He will answer me? Will I accept the challenge to do business with God on purpose? 21. Hebrews 4:9-11 LB - "So there is a full complete rest still waiting for the people of God. Christ has already entered there......let us do our best to go into that place of rest, too..." In the life of faith, when you learn that you are living FROM victory and not FOR victory and yield yourself entirely, to your CALLING in Christ, living a life of walking in the Spirit -- that is when you enter the rest of God. You live in your Christ identity, from heaven -- in your God-given authority to advance and bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom in the earth, It is the soul that thirsts for God, for the living God, that will have the spiritual understanding of how Jesus, the High Priest, brings us into God's presence so we can receive revelation for our next assignment in our God-given calling. Psalm 63:1 - "O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  22. Luke 5:16 - "...Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray." Many want the spiritually intoxicating new wine God is pouring out in this hour, but to hold that new wine, you must have new wineskins. You cannot keep doing the same thing and expect different results. There is more prayer on Earth today than ever, yet most of it is temporal prayer for everyday things. What if, instead of praying for things you started praying the Psalms? The Psalms are unique in that they contain many other books of the Bible, including God's dealings with men, God speaking to men, God conveying truth to men, and men speaking back to God. If you will pray and meditate daily in the Psalms and let God's Word get in your heart, this will open a whole new gateway of encounters with the Lord, and you will become like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bring forth fruit in their season. 23. APPREHENDING THE GOD OF INCREASE Right now, we celebrate the Holy Spirit bringing us into a divine convergence to position us for a continual increase in wisdom, stature, and favor! Luke 2:52 reads, "And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." WISDOM is the application of your understanding and the supernatural ability to turn your encounters and dreams with God into reality. This increase in the Spirit of Wisdom is being poured out to give you the capacity to clearly recognize where your FOCUS should be directed right now. In the Bible the "Sons of Issachar" knew the times (kairos: the NOW opportunities) and the seasons. STATURE refers to the size of your heart and your inner-man. It's a combination of your God-sized dreams, His presence on your life, and the size of your YES to God. Your stature in the Spirit causes a healthy recognition and is used by God to attract favor with God and men. FAVOR is a direct result of apprehending and moving in your Christ calling as you bear fruit that remains for God’s Kingdom. 2 Cor. 9:8 reads, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed." SPENDING YOUR FAVOR The secret to your increase in these NOW moments is directly linked to recognizing and valuing your "Burning Bush" (new and uncommon) invitations and your ability to "take off your shoes" and stay a while with Him. Moses not only turned aside to encounter God's obvious invitations, but he built a dwelling place for continual encounters and called it "The Tent of Meeting". From that day on everyone knew that Moses was intentional about obeying God and using obedience and communion with God to receive more understanding and favor. In Exodus 33:13, Moses discovers how to use his favor, "Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, let me know Your ways that I may know You, so that I may find favor in Your sight." FAVOR AND FRIENDSHIP Exodus 33:14-16 reads "And He said, 'My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.' Then he said to Him, 'If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are upon the face of the earth?'" Moses had learned from his surprise "Burning Bush" encounters, and from wearing a path in the sand to his regularly scheduled "Tent of Meeting" moments with God, that experiencing more of God's presence would cause him to ascend into friendship. Then Moses said, "I pray You, show me Your glory!" (verse 17) You have found the favor and the friendship of God who says to you this day, "I will be with you just as I was with Moses." God shows His glory in us as we move from glory to glory as we bear fruit that remains for His advancing Kingdom through our Christ calling. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  24. THIS IS YOUR MOMENT! God is raising up a radical movement of misfits for the Kingdom to go where no one else will go and to SAY what no one else will say! This is the season God is giving the remnant of misfits a new name, a new vision, and a fresh new start. Sons are repenting into a right relationship with God and BACK INTO POSITION. Many have been out of position, diverted from their original Christ calling and purpose through the attacks against what they carry –- BUT NO MORE! You can't keep identifying as an orphan or a victim. What God placed inside of you was before its time, so it was never intended to "fit" but to "REFORM." So, even that revelation is going to start defining for you why you are valuable to the Kingdom. What God is doing in you, right now, is revealing through the scriptures your Christ identity to you, where you haven't known or truly believed it. This revealing of identity is important because in the past, when the Church or other believers rejected you, it easily took you out. Let it all go. This is your season, this is your time and you are a move of God waiting to happen...so let it happen! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  25. It's essential that we as Spirit-filled Believers understand the power of our words and decrees. Isaiah 55:11 is a word in season for every hungry Believer to take advantage of. As you open your mouth and speak out your DESTINY, you will breathe life into your situations and see impossible circumstances turn around. In 2024 the Holy Spirit wants to build the lives of our children, family, friends, community and the Church; and it is vital that we come into agreement with God's will by making prophetic decrees. Come into alignment with God's word, prophesy what you desire to see manifest, and take advantage of the power of the spoken word! PROPHESY TO THE DRY BONES - WATCH PRAYERS ACTIVATED! Amos 3:7, - "Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets" and also Ezekiel 37 – The Valley of Dry Bones (read the chapter for full context). Ezekiel 37 is a vision which illustrates the promise of new life and a nation restored, both physically and spiritually. As Ezekiel prophesies, God brings life and vitality to the dead bones. Just as Ezekiel prophesied, we too must decree life over the Body of Christ. Our words are powerful and must be used to advance and exhort believers to ask, knock, and seek to come to understand their Christ calling so they can bear fruit that remains for His Kingdom. As we partner with Heaven by making prophetic decrees, we are building the Church. As we pray for renewal and revival, our prayers are being powerfully activated. God is using our words to raise and release an army of mature sons and daughters who are empowered through the prophetic decrees spoken over their lives. A last days Joel's army is being called forth to walk in the same power as Christ through miraculous demonstrations. As the Church moves from milk to meat we are going from word to demonstrations of power. God is raising a company of radical Believers that are hungry to advance God’s Kingdom in the earth. CALL FORTH THE WARRIORS Those fit for the army of God will live by the following two key verses: "Therefore, I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong" - (2 Corinthians 12:10). And also, "Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor" (Romans 12:10). The power of our spoken words and prophetic decrees over their life, exhort these individuals into the fullness of their destiny. We must look at people and see what Jesus sees, speaking to their potential in Christ. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
