I don't believe the people in the U.S. are falling for it, but European nations seem all to eager to believe the negative publicity. Luckily Blair is still supportive of our possition ragarding Israel despite the feelings of his countrymen. Either way. Israel is caught in the middle of another propaganda war that it will not find easy to win due to global antisemitism.

Not that it matters to the rest of the world. All they get to see is more bodies being dragged out of another pile of rubble. They either wont see or wont get to see the launchers being driven into town or buildings collapse 8 hours after being struck. What's sad is that there should be no doubt that these people were also told to evacuate and yet they remained to be shields for Hezb'allah, willingly or not.

I was just watching a part of Mary Shellys' movie "Frankenstein" and I was reminded of something that has not been brought up in any homosexual debates I have participated in. Most homosexuals have heard the argument that were they given the legal right to marry, then the government would eventually have to legalize bestality. What I am curious about is how homosexuals feel about incest. Since they are of the opinion that neither race or sex matter where "true love" is concerned they must also aprove of incest as well, also regardless of race or sex. When you consider this, the argument that our social foundations would begin to crumble begin to seem a little more real. If the law permitted people of the same sex to legally wed then so too must that same law allow members of the same family to do the same. Taking this into consideration, we understand why same sex "marriages" must not be allowed as they would only serve as the spring board for the legalisation of other behaviors that are also socially unaceptable, and for good reason.

Worthy News: Irish bog's 'Dead Sea Scrolls' called a major
O'Dannyboy replied to George's topic in World News
Rather fitting I must say. Lord knows there are a large number of nations (not necessarily countries) that wish to see Israel "wiped off the map". When they finally merger their resources and power to wage war on Israel they will be in for quite a shock. I think it will be interesting to see their faces upon realising who Gods' chosen really are. Of course it will be short lived as they will inevitably dismiss the event as something natural and resume worshiping who or what they worshipped to begin with. There will however be large numbers that will also see the truth and be set free. -
Worthy News: Orlando Bans Feeding Homeless - ABC News

"City commissioner Patty Sheehan pushed for the ordinance after complaints from business owners and residents that homeless people were causing problems at a downtown park popular with joggers and dog walkers." Does anyone else think its ironic that the commisioners name is Sheehan? This article makes me think of all the times I have been stopped outside a gas station by someone asking for money. My heart goes out to them. One can only imagine how guilty some of these people must feel when they go in and out of these downtown buisinesses to buy things and having to turn down so many people with their hands out. I suppose they think that if the people are no longer there the guilt will go away. While the meals are not the main reason homeless people go to the park, I guess they figure eliminating the meals would remove at least one reason they might be comming to the park. -

It wouldn't surprise me if the ACLU were major campaign contributors for the democratic party, but, more than that, I believe the ACLU is acting on behalf of the democratic party. I make sense that the democratic party would use such an organisation to forward its agenda without having any direct political ties. The ACLU is nothing more than an attack dog out to destroy anything the conservatives value. -
The U.N. has already shown where they stand as far as Israels concerned. The secretary generals latest statements are proof of that. They are all too willing to blame Israel for every death and every minute of suffering while completely ignoring their own failures to live up to their own promises. The U.N. is nothing more than a forum or social club for high and mighty snobs like Kofi Annan can exert political influence over weaker nations. Picture a health club for politicians. They all like to go and flex their muscles and compare themselves to the others to stroke their egos. They do not represent the best interests of the world body or else they would have taken action in Somalia long ago.

This guy is deluded if he thinks the U.S. or Israel will allow Syria to retake control of Lebanon. I can't imagine many of the European nations going for it either. Somehow I get the strange feeling that Kofi Annan would like the idea. For all we know Kofi is a muslim and it just hasn't been let out. It would explain his tone and his comments towards Israel.

Someone simply needs to call for Annans resignation. He is giving this world organisation a bad reputation. The world needs someone with fewer biases and character.

It's interesting how the U.N. troops in southern Lebanon, the one that were supposed to be maintaining a buffer zone, are being refered to as "observers". I suppose every U.N. troop that is supposed to be there to help maintain the peace are actually only there in an observatory capacity. The U.N really dropped the ball on this one, all the while making Israel look like the agressor for having, once again, to take matters into their own hands to secure the safety of their own citizens. Talk about hipocracy. Even the E.U. is trying to strong arm Israel into making making the first gestures of willingness to comprimise. If the world governments would stop blaming Israel for being the instigators and realise, as Binladins second in command said today, that it is radical/fundamentalist Islam that is waging "jihad" on Israel and Israels only option is to fight back. Israel has spent long enough curled up in a ball waiting for the jackals to go away. You can only bare your teeth for so long before everyone begins to think your smiling at them. I heard, on the news, the echo of a statement I made at church last sunday when I told the singles minister that Israel is a caged lion and there are numerous Islamic and Arab groups that take pleasure in poking and prodding them with sticks. This time they underestimated Israels reach. Once again the world governments seek to punish Israel for what is, without question, a natural reaction to the unrelenting antagonism and mockery. May God continue to bless Israel with the strength worthy or respect by her piers and fear from her enemies.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that all the conflicts involve muslims, but most of them do, without a doubt. We can't forget the tamil tigers and there are still guerilla groups(drug lords) in southern mexico and other latin nations that need to be dealt with. And it would not be a good idea to discount Kim Jong Ill of North Korea and his desire to blackmail the rest of the world into supporting his communist country.

EXACTLY. Nothing with God happens by accident.

I wonder what happens if one of their tires blows out on the way. -
As long as world opinion of Israel continues to degrade thanks, to the comments ands accusations of people like Kofi Annan, Hezbollah will be the victors. All Hezbollah has to do is to win public opinion in the middle east to win. Isreal has to stop Hezbollah from firing rockets into Israel as well as secure the safe return of their soldiers to consider it a win. All Hezbollah has to do is "resist" and they will have won a victory against the "zionist invadors". Isreal always has and always will have an uphill battle untill Christs return.

Worthy News: Washington State Supreme Court to Issue Gay Marriage Deci
O'Dannyboy replied to George's topic in U.S. News
While you may not see it the same way, gay marriage is important to many people, especially politicians just before elections. As far as problems affecting our society, gay marriage definately has to rank up there. While I can see the impact divorce is having on society I do not see how child advocacy or domestic violence are having any more impact on our social stucture than gay marriage would. You don't have to agree. But as long as there are those among us that feel this way about it the media and politicians will continue to stoke the fire.
