  1. Please be informed that the bible in the first place is not the Lord God nor is Paul and his letter the Lord God, too, how do you now say the Lord contradicts my words, do you know the Lord truly? If so, how do you know Him?
  2. As in the days of the apostles, so are the days today with Jesus the Lord God, nothing is new under the sun and only His means in talking/communicating to the people differ but He Himself, unseen, is still the one involved in guiding and teaching His sons/families/friends/followers/disciples today in our time. Did you come to know Jesus that way? One truth that the bible doesn't have and that was hidden to mankind for quite a long, long time is the fact that Jesus taught his disciples that no one within the church of the Lord is allowed to act as men pastor simply because the Lord is the only Good Shepherd/Pastor/Teacher in His Church. Also, the Lord God did not actually say to Adam and Eve that they will surely die by the time they eat the fruit that He forbids them to eat. The Lord told us that what He said to the two is that they will be clothed with sins by the time they eat that fruit. Another one is about marriage where the bible has the record that the two will become one flesh but in reality, the Lord told us that what He said to Adam and Eve is that He will give them one flesh and it is about the offspring that will be the result of that marriage, not that the husband and the wife will become one flesh. These are only some of the hidden truths that is beyond the limits and bounds of the bible today. I do believe God inspired the original scriptures but God warns us that the bible is not the Lord God.
  3. The Lord Jesus told us that the bible was given to us by God (Him) for only one purpose and that is to let us all mankind know that there is really God with and to whom all of us can come to at any time. He further said that the bible is not meant to be the source of doctrines or teachings about men's salvation nor is the bible to be the basis of teachings in knowing God. Since its purpose is to let people know that there is God, the people in return have to come to and call on to God so that the Lord God in return may respond to them in and through His own ways of living. It is at this point when God responds to their call that knowledge about the truth and about God will come to them but all of these responses of God are in and through His own ways and terms and most of all, God's responses are always coupled with trials so that the Lord God can gauge the faith that those who come to Him will be able to accord to the Lord God.
  4. But one thing is sure and absolute, that the Lord Jesus himself, alive and real though unseen at the moment, is the only Pastor/Great Shepherd/Teacher in His Church and no men pastors are allowed unlike what denominational churches of today have in them.
  5. That's what every denominational churches today claim for themselves - their leader is the Lord Jesus Christ, that's what they say. I was in to a denominational church before the Lord Jesus came down to us and I know that our pastor and leader then in that church is not the Lord Jesus but the man pastor who used the bible in teaching the whole congregation throughout his life. If the leader of denominational churches today, as you claim, is the Lord Jesus, why do they have men pastors within them when no one in the church of the Lord is allowed to act as pastor or teacher over his fellow brothers in Christ? How can you explain to me that the HS is assisting the Lord in leading those denominational churches, how many HS is out there? Have you experienced the HS teaching you or your congregation?
  6. The Lord proved Himself to us that He is the Almighty Lord God when He responded to our call and plea in Him. He did something that made us believed and continue to believe He is the Lord God and indeed it really happened not only once or twice but more than those instances. Since the Lord God has proved himself to us that HE is the Lord God, we are confident that we hit the genuine treasure in heaven that many people are longing for in their lives. God is the truth and therefore anything that comes directly from God is genuine, accurate, and the truth.
  7. I have told you already the means that the Lord used in talking to us, just go back to those posts.
  8. May I ask you if the Lord Jesus Christ, to you, is the bible?
  9. Absolutely and definitely, there is and it is truly beyond the bible and you yourself can discover same from the Lord God himself should you come to Him in His own ways.
  10. The bible is a book of testimony to the Lord Jesus Christ, but it is not meant for doctrines and teachings about Jesus.
  11. What I know is that Jesus is real and alive and He is not selfish to tell the truth to those who truly seek Him. We have learned from the Lord that a man should only take one woman for his wife unto death and in that regard, I doubt those men's claim that Jesus told them to abandon their wives and marry other women. Since the bible is not the Lord God, it doesn't follow always that what is contradictory to the bible is contradictory to God, too.
  12. 1. When two people claim Jesus told them two conflicting things, the one who is from Jesus will surely go back to the Lord Jesus to ask and seek from Him the truth about the other claim. 2. Surely, humans own prejudice will cloud their judgment in this area. What is best is to always come to Jesus and seek from Him His own advice on the issue and the art of waiting for the Lord to respond to our call is a must in this area of concern. 3. It is only by and through the Lord Jesus that one may determine if he is correct or not.
  13. 1. Jesus Christ is the Almighty Lord God of all ages and in eternity to eternity who, at the moment, is unseen to all yet accessible through His own means. 2. As I am saying, Jesus Christ is the Almighty One, the creator of the heavens and the earth and the universe and that of all things. 3. Now my turn, how do you come to know Jesus? Is Jesus Christ the bible by and through which you are trying all your best to know Jesus from?
  14. The latter is the one that is accurate.
  15. Jesus himself, as in the days of the old and the new, comes down to those people today who come to and call on in Him truly and teach them the truth they need so that those people who truly seek Him may know from the Lord the way to their salvation and the knowledge about God.

    Ghosts and Aliens..

So, if you believe Jesus is the truth, then it follows that we can get the truth about aliens and ghosts from the Lord Jesus himself, doesn't it? How can the bible give you the truth about ghosts and aliens when the bible is a book that in itself does not speak as we humans do? All that we can say here if we use the bible as the basis for this topic is nothing but different interpretations and opinions via bible verses and most likely than not, disagreement will surely crop up even we are using the same verses of the bible as our basis of discussion.
  17. Whatever, bro. May God bless you.
  18. The truth that I stand on in witnessing to people is the truth that I learned and received from the Lord Jesus Christ in His own way of existence and living. The Lord commanded me to tell the people to come to and call on in Him (God) in order that the people may learn and hear from God himself and know God through Himself being the Lord God of all ages and in that respect, people may not be led astray of the way leading to the kingdom of God and their own salvation.
  19. So, it is very clear that we have different notions of salvation and for sure we will not be able to meet or blend our notions into one. And since we have both laid down our cards on the topic at hand, I would say we have now to part, in a friendly manner, discussing this issue anymore to avoid further misunderstandings. May you be saved by what you are saying, God bless you, bro.
  20. Split from: This thread is about The Bible and God's revelation to mankind - particularly private revelation that contradicts Scripture. ------------- The bible itself tells us that the truth is the Lord Jesus Christ himself, how do you now say that you are looking for truth using scripture only, is the truth the scripture and not Jesus? Don't you believe the bible in that part where Jesus said He is the Truth, and.......? If you want the truth, go and get it from the Lord Jesus Christ himself. But if you want opinions and ideas of your fellow men, then let us talk ghosts and aliens by what we know from the bible. But can you please define first ghosts and that of aliens for us to understand your take on these two words in particular.
  21. I am not referring to growth and maturity in the bible, it is the salvation per se that I am talking about. It is a gift that God gives to those who truly acknowledges and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ but said salvation is conditional, that is salvation is with us for as long as we continue to put all our trust and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ himself and not to anything else, even the bible itself. Salvation will fly away from us the moment we detached ourselves from the Lord and He will get back the salvation He gave to us thus we have to maintain that gift given to us by continuous believing and following the Lord Jesus Christ. It is in this context that I ask you if staying close to the bible is a requirement for us to maintain with us our salvation, do I make it clear this time?
  22. How do you understand "for the old order of things has passed away?" Do you believe that or do you not? Are pains and sorrows not in the old order of things?
  23. Those passages refer to the Judgment Day or the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and there is no rapture that will ever transpire in the forthcoming days. By how deep or in what manner do you want us to get involved ourselves in discussing this issue?
  24. Thanks for that, may I now make a follow up question to you regarding your previous post re:the Word, is staying close to the bible a requirement to maintain our salvation? If so, where and when did the Lord Jesus Christ teach that staying close to the bible is a requirement in maintaining with us our salvation?
  25. So, Revelation 21:6-8 are verses found in the book of the bible and God did not give it to you/us personally as an answer, do you/we now agree? About playing to be God, I do hope it is now clear to you that it plainly refers to whatever answer that anyone will dare respond to the question previously posted.
