If you're looking for my testimony, which I have previously mentioned as being here, I've moved it to the Testimonies forum here:

I am a Southern born and raised woman who met and followed my Yankee husband to Indiana. I am immeasurably blessed by God despite being so very unworthy of His blessings. I am a long way from perfection and sometimes don't even struggle as hard as I should to reach it. I can be quick tempered and snarky, but I am good at holding it in because I know that once a hurtful word has been spoken, it can never be taken back no matter how much you apologize for it. I have lived with clinical depression my entire adult life and take medication for it. I am not ashamed of this, as it is beyond my control. A favorite comedian of mine, Chonda Pierce, offers this suggestion: "The next time someone judges you for taking anti-depressants, tell them to take their glasses off and drive home!" Enough said about that!

I adore my husband. He is the absolute love of my life and was a precious gift from God. We have no children, but do have a trio of dogs that are spoiled horribly. My husband is wrapped firmly around the paw of our Bulldog girl, Katie, who is pictured as my avatar. She whines (her version of saying "jump!") and he says, "How high?" or the equivalent.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2010. I have been through chemo, radiation and other medical therapies in an effort to prevent the cancer from coming back. God has carried me through this as only He can. I am so thankful for the countless blessings He has shown me as I made this journey.

I am a stay-at-home "mom" to our dogs and cats and absolutely abhor housework and only do it grudgingly. I love to cook but don't do it like I ought to because cooking leads to more housework! (By not doing it, I mean that I don't whip up huge elaborate meals very often. I do cook. I just tend to stick to things that dirty up as few pots as possible. Even better, I grill out!)

God led me to stumble across Worthy just when I needed it most. More blessings from Him!

I'm a singer and love music and have been known to burst out into song when I'm feeling too much joy to contain. I'm also an avid photographer, a fan of sewing and quilting, though I don't have much skill at either, a crafter, a flower arranger, and I do the weekly bulletins for our church.
