  1. The first book of the Bible is actually a compilation of the stories of 8 men and their Creator. Our Lord tells His story in Genesis chapter 1 through 2:3 and after that each story begins with the phrase “These are the generations of … ” or “This is the account of …”. Adam’s story begins at 2:4 and continues through chapter 5 and explains why the creation account of chapter 2 differs slightly from that of chapter 1.

I don't believe there is any internal evidence in Genesis for this hypothesis. The traditional (and correct) view of Genesis is that it is the first book of Moses, with Moses being the writer and God being the Author. Neither Moses nor anyone else could have described what occurred during creation, and there is nothing to even suggest that Adam had a hand in this book. It is pertinent to note that among the men of faith mentioned in Hebrews 11, ADAM IS MISSING, but Abel his son leads the way.  We are not really told what happened to Adam other than the fact that he had a son called Seth, and Adam lived 930 years (Gen 5:1-5).

I totally agree with you Ezra...

I was wondering where he got that idea from...

  2. We have to have a very good discernment to know who is talking to us.If it is Biblical.I have only heard God's voice once a long time ago.

yes, i believe discernment is needed... and when in doubt, pray and consult the bible as he will not say anything contrary to his word...

  3. I have this theory...

"God speaks to us via the spirit... but each person interprets what he says by several means like dreams, through the word - reading or hearing... etc"

For example, if i create a website and 4 users use different browsers to access the same website, their is a possibility that they will get slightly different views or functionality...

Some browsers are more accurate, like, closer to what the designer had in mind...

In the same way, God speaks to us via his spirit which is in us.

The actual understanding of what He says can be done by each person via most efficient means to the person...

So, if during the day i was so distracted and for some reason i could get the message God is trying to pass across to me, its possible that in my dream that night i get an insight into the mind of God...

    :)

I hope i was able to explain this and hope it made little sense... i'm open to corrections if anyone sees the need for it..

  4. There is the creation account in Genesis 1 and then Genesis 2 goes on about creation again.  To me there is only one creation story in Genesis 1 with Genesis 2 being a more succinct telling.

There is only one, but there is info I can eventually share that is not so obvious.

Do you know something about the Creation account that the rest of us are not privy to?

    Oh, please do share... :)

What you're saying now, (not saying is wrong, not saying its right either)... is Adam developed writing skill?

And if possible, could you provide some kind of proof... a book or something that supports your claim...

  7. from PopSci:

"The next version of Barbie might not find math so hard, after all. This week, Mattel revealed that for the first time Barbie will be backed by artificial intelligence, a move to make the doll more lifelike.

"In addition to the traditional hair products and accessories, the doll’s belt buckle doubles as a button for activating voice recognition. Through this mechanism, children can have interactive conversations with the classic toy.

"Barbie, full name Barbara Millicent Roberts, knows 8,000 lines of dialogue, and can improvise with them based on the conversation she’s having with the user...."

    http://www.popsci.com/hello-barbie-learns-to-chat-using-artificial-intelligence

When a child speaks and holds down Barbie's belt button, the doll records the audio and sends it to a decision engine that uses natural language processing to choose an optimal response based on heuristics.

    LOL...

for some reason i can only see much danger in that and very little good..

Yes, i agree... but still, a few things i don't understand... i have just learnt to wait till i understand .. :)

  9. Ok here is the thing. When you thank some one for something. How do you thank them without giving away Gods credit. Cause God should have credit for all things. So if you say thank you and if it wasn't for you this might not happened. Is that giving someone credit for Gods glory. So how do you give thanks to the person who was there at right time. Will God forgive you if you thank someone the wrong way.

In my country and tribe (Nigeria - Yoruba tribe), you are responsible to thank a person who has done good to you... and the responsibility of the person to say something like "oh, no... all thanks to God".

We often say "He who has learnt how to say thank you for the good done yesterday, is paving a way for more good tomorrow".

And we also have a way of continuous thank yous.. lol... this means, a person does something good today, you say "thank you so much"... tomorrow, or any other day you see the person, it is customary for us to say "thank you for the other day" or "thank you for yesterday" as the case may be...

And so, i don't think God will be offended by you thanking another human... i mean, its not like you're saying... thank you so much, may all the glory be yours (to the person)...

Yes, God is a jealous God... yet, he sees your heart, and understands that you're only showing appreciation to the person for allowing himself/herself to be used of God for you at that particular time...

On the other hand, if in your heart you know you are changing focus from God's goodness to human goodness, then you need to repent of that...

    :)

  10. Not so much upset as EXASPERATED!  Most of us don't care about the gay agenda, don't want to read about it, don't want to see the gay and transgender 'stars' every time we turn on the t.v. or read the news......it's just getting on my last nerve and I am tempted to start an online backlash site.  It's getting that bad here in the U.S.  What about over there, xyluz?  Isn't Nigeria like half muslim?  I know they don't go for that stuff.

Yes, Nigeria is like half Muslim half Christian, there are other religion, but majorly, Islam and Christianity rules.

and no, Muslims will not agree to such indecent acts...

in fact, with them, everyone involved should be killed immediately.. lol, they have no time for grace.
