Colossians 3:16 Did you notice the requirement in Col. 3:16 — "Let the word of Christ dwell in you RICHLY" — A Christian musician should be a serious student of the Word of God! A Christian musician should "teach and admonish" in his songs because the Word of Christ s dwelling in him! The Christian musician should KNOW the Word of God!

but he did say spiritual songs in your heart its has to be a spiritual song I think by looking at the words of some of these rock songs it's plain to see they are not spiritual the melody in your heart should be a spiritual song hymn or psalm it's sooooooooo easy The words to these rock songs dont glorify God and that is the purpose of music period.
