  1. The following is something that I believe to be true. Meaning I am saying I choose it and I could be wrong. But I don't think so. There are 2 kinds of truth in this world. There is the truth that is plainly obvious. Such as the sky is blue. The grass is green and sometimes brown depending on how much water its gotten. If I tell my kids I love them that's true as well. But then there is absolute truth. And that is where real power is. Because Absolute truth is not something we can see just by looking. Absolute truth is Yeshua ha'mashiach. (Which is His real given name) aka Jesus Christ. As you read the book of John the first chapter a light comes on and you go reread Genesis. And you see Yehsua doing creation. The reason I separate the two types of truth is this. What Yeshua speaks is truth. Meaning He spoke "Let there be light and it was" Absolute truth can change truth. For instance truth is I need a job and a place to live. If I through prayer got Him to speak "Durant gets a job and a place to live" My truth or circumstance changes. Absolute truth is Absolute power. That is what I believe and I am stickin to it. Even if it makes no sense to any one else.
  2. If we expect no reward, does that not mean we truly don't believe His word. The bible is full of promises of reward. The greatest reward is of coarse God himself. But if I read this correctly (and I may not have) to try and take action toward God with no expectation of reward from him whatsoever is to try and take action with disinterest. I desire to do the good that the bible commands simply for just that the promises of the bible being revealed. Ps 37:7 PS 145:19 Mat 6:33 Each of these verse have promise in them. And each one has a command in it as well. Our focus should be on the command not the promise. Focusing on the promise to much creates bitterness when things are not going well. However focusing on the command and believing that the bible is true and we can stand on the promises is key to a enduring faith. When you stand on a large rock playing king of the hill you do not focus on the rock but on the task of holding your position on the rock. Standing on the promises of God is much the same as that battle. The world, satan, and flesh wants to take us off the rock of salvation (aka biblical promise) Do I expect that God will give me all my wants. No. But I do expect to receive my desires. And since the bible says that our heart is renewed, I will conclude that wants are much of the time fleshly and real desires align with what God wants. The real hard part is knowing the difference.
  3. Hi, I have done the long distance relationship thing then jump in with both feet. You have two options of how to approach this. the first is more likely. I wonder if Yahweh is protecting you from a mistake. You see if your relationship is based on mostly phone calls letters and emails/chats. Neither of you really know how the other is in stressful situation...... If he works on a car and things go really wrong done he explode in anger and frustration? You wouldn't really know that unless he and you really were honnest and said he here are the places that I am going to fall short of the ideal. The second is very possibe as well. If you truly starting a marriage that Yaweh is behind and wanting you must figer that is going to stand for something significant in christian word. Hence you are being attacked spiritually to insure that you to affraid to make the move. The good thing is you can attack both vectors at the same time. All I can really say is for sure i this. Do you desire to be married for LIFE or LOVE? Does He desire to be marriied for life or love? The difference is that when you commit before Adonia that you are with your life mate its over no go back even when it gets hard. Love may fail at times. And at that point love is not about feelings but rather choices of commitment. If either of you married for love and love alone when love fails the marriage will fall. The last thing is this. Have you been able to build a real foundation for the house of your marriage to stand on? I have done internet relationships as well. And I found that the foundation never gets built right as far as my relationships have gone. And sexual impurity over the phone or email or in real life will crack the foundation. If you have crossed any lines through email or chat you may want to decide do you want a crack in the foundation of your marriage. Yes you can work around it. But it will always be there like a scar from doing things wrong. Or you can let this relationship go and start over with the intent of making sure that you have a foundation built in the next one. Last question Are you a godly woman by biblical standards? This will affect everything.
  4. Are you really looking for tangible evidence of Yahweh's existence, or are you looking for a more tangible evidence of His love to be revealed to you in a way that make sense to you?
  5. I want to admit I have not read this yet but intend to. I have a something that someone made and converted to esword. Anyway this is something that I found out a few years ago that may add something of interest regarding height of people. I was listening to a trusted christian speaker and he said that there is a good chance that Noah and his wife's remains were found. They were found near one of the arch locations (the one that I am dead positive is the right one) I dont remember the height of Noah but his wife was 12' If this is truly them and there is no way to know for sure. a 12 foot woman as a norm sure adds a dimension to what giants may have been Personally I think the first book of Enoch is the handed down knowledge that Enoch left us through oral transmission. There are obvious things in it that appear to be exaggerations or mis translations such as 300 foot high giants (which is more likely 25 to 30 feet. Personally I consider it about as reliable as the New York Times. Gives a pretty good overall story, but the details leave it a bit lacking to make it part of the Bible. Books two and three, I haven't made up my mind about at all.
