Christ's kingdom will never be physically on this earth
Montana Marv replied to Luther's topic in Eschatology
Rain is also literal. Don't celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles yearly, your nation gets no rain. This is a command from the Lord God Almighty. Not symbolic. Red also happens to be the color of Christ's blood shed on the Cross. Don't put/add symbolic spiritual, when none is needed. In Christ Montana Marv -

Israel's sin has been forgotten/forgiven. No bad words come out of their mouth. Israel dwells in their Land. They go freely into the Temple. Jesus reigns over them on the throne of King David. But, the Gentile nations are not privileged. They have disputes with each other. Who's next in line after the Jews. Obedience is what Jesus wants from these nations. And many fail, no rain. That's what Scripture says. No other interpretation needed. They must travel to Jerusalem. They Must observe the Feast of Tabernacles, or no rain form them. It is not the Law of Moses; it is the command of the King, the Lord God Almighty. The Law of Moses was for Jews, those of Israel. This is for the Gentile nations. In Christ Montana Marv -

Nothing to do with my quote. Please read the passage in question. Isa. 2: 4 - He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many people's. They will beat their swords into plowshears, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. It is about war between nations, when the war ends, what do they do with their swords and spears? It becomes a time of peace on earth. Even the animals follow; no more aggressive activity. Isa 11:6-9 - the wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the cow will feed with the bear..... In Christ Montana Marv -

A bit odd. Zech 14:16-19 says: Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the Lord God Almighty, and to celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain. If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all nations that do not go up to worship the Feast of Tabernacles. Did you even read the passage? In Christ Montana Marv -

Odd, there are still weapons of war out there. There is no peace here on earth. The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and lion and yearling together; a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. Isa 11:6,7 This is the time frame when the weapons of war are transformed into tools for agriculture. The 1000 year reign of Christ. In Christ Montana Marv -

Yes, but when does this event of transforming weapons of war into agricultural tools happen. Can't be in the New Heaven or on the New Earth, for everything is new, old things are gone. Must be during the 1000 reign of Christ here on earth. When rain comes, crops flourish; When rain is denied, crops fail. Zech 14:16-19 In Christ Montana Marv -

This verse is a get out of jail free card for many. Take this analogy, by your belief. Creation took 6,000 years and then God rested for 1000 years. Swing it the other way and 1,000 years then does not exist in Rev 20. Both analogy's take this verse out of context. What did Satan say in the Garden? "Did God really say" Doubt Now in the same way many use this same line without knowing. Did God really say in Rev 20 that Satan was to be bound for 1000 years, did God really say that at the end of the 1000 years that Satan would be loosed for a short time. Did God really say that many will reign with him for 1000 years. Did God really say that after the 1000 years were over and at the end of the 1000 years. Did God really say "Thou shall not eat of this tree" Yes, 2 Peter 3:8 can be used to sow doubt in Scripture. A get out of jail free card. In Christ Montana Marv -
Good title. But Where/Here - If one looks at the population densities of the world; the Western Hemispheres population is approximately 1/4th of the total world population at this time. What's even better is that this same area occupies exactly 1/3 of the total land mass of the world. In Christ Montana Marv

Not an analogy; The people transform their swords and spears into plowshares and pruning hooks. They become farmers. They grow grain, they prune trees. In Christ Montana Marv -

It doesn't, but it does say they exist during the 1000 year reign of Christ as Isa 2:1-4 says. But my 1000 year reign of Christ is your eternity. So the swords and spears would have to be in both, as we state our positions. In Christ Montana Marv -

Yes the Lord will rule them with a rod of iron. Isa. 2:1-4 - In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised up above the hills, and all the nations will stream to it. Many people's will come and say, come let us come to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths. The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. So you believe that Jesus will be settling disputes in the New Heaven and New Earth. Looks like there are swords and spears in your New Heaven and New Earth. What gives. They will be transformed for agriculture use. Is that your objective in Eternity, be a farmer. In Christ Montana Marv -

That conflicts with Rev 2:27 - He will rule them with an iron scepter, he will dash them to pieces like pottery. Rev 12:5 - She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and his throne. Rev 19:15 - Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of fury of the wrath of God Almighty. Why will He/Christ rule the nations in the New Heaven and New Earth with a rod of iron. Which is a disciplinary tool. All must not be well in the New Heaven. OR Christ must rule with a rod of iron during the 1000 years, because the nations are still unruly. Zech 8:20-23 - This is what the Lord Almighty says; Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities, will yet come, and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say; "Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going." And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord Almighty and to entreat him.. This is what the Lord Almighty says; "In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you." So, God must not be with them. This has never happened in the past. Will this be in the New Heaven and the New Earth, No. But during the 1000 year reign of Christ. This is when Christ will rule the nations with an iron scepter. Not in the New Heaven or New Earth or the New Jerusalem. In Christ Montana Marv -

I posted it about 3 years ago, look it up. I will just say look at the bulls eye, the very very center being the Second Coming to the Mt of Olives. What are the perimeter circles? You figure it out, I must not be that smart. In Christ Montana Marv -

Now verse 9 - I have no idea of how heavenly food tastes or smells. Definitely not kidney pie, had it once, it smelled terrible, but worse, it tasted worse that it smelled. Now v 17,18 - This is the gathering of the birds of the air to feast on all who die at Armageddon, both men and horses (remember the 200,000,000 riders from the East. Plus the army from the North, South and the beasts army. Dan 11:40,41. How long does Armageddon last (maybe 30 days); How long does it take the birds of the air to feast on those killed (maybe 45 days) Dan 12:11 In Christ Montana Marv -

Again, that is part of how I process eschatology. I look at geography, distances, population densities, travel directions. All of which you have no idea. With your vast knowledge of Scripture; Rev 8:7 - ... A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. Do you have an idea of this location, it has to be someplace. or Rev 8:8 - A third of the sea turned to blood. Do you have an idea of this location, it has to be someplace. I could continue, but you have no idea. Why are these Seals, Trumpets and Bowl judgments placed in their order. Is there purpose or what is their relevance? In Christ Montana Marv -

For that is how I process eschatology. Do the math, One horse and ride occupy approximately 32 sq feet. of space. How many sq feet in an acre, how many acres in a sq. mile. How long does it take one to travel 700 miles, approx distance from Euphrates River to Armageddon site. How many people reside in the area of India. What percentage of total world land mass does the western hemisphere with New Zealand and Australia occupy. It might open your eyes up if you knew. In Christ Montana Marv -

I have a different way of processing things. We have a schedule of events (Seal, Trumpet and Bowls) from start to finish. What happens when we go in reverse from the Second Coming (every eye will see Him) and work toward the 1st Seal. What happens can determine what can't happen and where. What are population densities at a particular time. How long does it take to travel from point A to point B. Geographically what is happening, and where. How large is a specific army? Say 200,000,000 on horseback occupies over 220 sq miles packed like sardines. All things must be considered. In Christ Montana Marv -

The Good are taken. Once Lot and his family got out of harms way (taken) Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed and all who were left in it. The Good remain. Let the tares and wheat grow together, then at the harvest gather/take the tares and burn them. Which really is separate them. We will meet the Lord in the air/in air, an area between heaven and earth, then He takes us to His Manson in heaven/Father's House as promised in John 14. Acts 1:11 - Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken from you into heaven will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven. It all depends: But the Righteous are always separated from the Unrighteous. In Christ Montana Marv -

Yes two separate events. Yet you still cannot get around the fact that there are no seas in the New Heaven and New Earth period of time, future eternity, I see no Seas. And yet, Zech stating that water flows out from Jerusalem (not the New Jerusalem) to the eastern and western seas. This during the 1000 year reign of Christ. I see two Seas. In Christ Montana Marv
