  1. How do you keep the faith when; you've been out of work for 2+ years...... You've applied to hundreds of jobs, and you always seem to get that dreaded electronic letter that says "Thank you for your interest; however after careful consideration, we have selected an applicant whose qualifications were better suited for the position." You realize that age and education are factors that are not to your advantage, you try and pray hoping that maybe the next time will be your time and you'll have the FAVOR of GOD and someone who is in hiring authority will hire you for the job..... I've become so discouraged and even somewhat depressed, it's become hard to pray; because it certainly doesn't seem as though my prayers are going beyond my ceiling.
  2. This is just beautiful; it was just what I needed today. I've been un-employed since 2/2009. I;ve only been able to work temporary assignments from time to time, whatever came available that I was qualified for. I was unable to work very much last year since my husband was hospitalized for abour 6 months (had to care for him). He just went back to work August of last year and was informed that the department in which he worked was bein SURPLUSED (laid off). Shortly after this happened, I had to go to dentist and was advised that I would need two thousand worth of dental work done, and the transmission in my car broke down just shortly after that.... talk about someone who needs to persevere; but it sure does get hard sometimes........
