How many of you got covid even though you received the vaccine?

I got a flu vaccine early so the flu is not my concern. This is a worse flu season in years. It is as bad or worse than Covid. I am seeing a few more people wearing masks now as well. There is also RSV out there. It affects adults as well as small children. This along with Covid. 

I haven't gotten Covid or the vaccine. I have been praying for God's protection since Covid started.

For awhile I also got calls claiming a sheriff was on his way to arrest me unless I paid money on the phone. Didn't fall for that one.

I moved in 2021 and got a landline for the sole purpose of it my parents being able to contact me at home in an emergency. I get calls daily from all over the country. They never leave messages but try to get me to give them money if I answer.

One of the first scam calls I ever got was about IRS. This was several years ago. I called my accountant and he told me they were quite common around tax time.

I am not sure what all this entails. How did Peter, James, and John know it was Moses and Elijah that Jesus was speaking with at the Transfiguration? Could it be we will instantly know who everyone is?

Just as the angels who witnessed creation, desiring to investigate Salvation, they are also constantly learning. I think we will constantly be learning about our Lord throughout eternity. 

The Lord's Word will never pass: Looking at all the information and lessons in our Bible. The volumes of hermeneutics and opinions written on the Word of God over millennia. Everyone's theology is not correct.

Perhaps our Master Himself will teach us the depth of His inspired written Word. How many times has someone read a passage a hundred times? For the 101st time, something popped out of scripture, and they wondered why they had never noticed it. 

Just contemplating. 

I think we will know who everyone is. There will be so many wonderful opportunities and blessings in heaven. We are not given very much of a glimpse of what we will experience. That is the way God wants it to be.

It made me think of Paul saying "We shall be transformed" -- that's what a phase change is, a transformation!

Just your professor's speculation. There is a lot of that out there.

I also see the problem in thinking of God as I thought of my own father. That might be getting in my way as well. I keep expecting the hammer to fall if I screw up just one more time.

God does test us. His purpose is to prove that our faith is real. God knows all things so He is not testing us for Himself. He knows your heart. God will not allow us to be tested beyond what we are able to endure. Is your faith real?

My mom and dad took a trip years ago to Minneapolis . My mom told me that when she got off the plane it was so cold she had to put something over her face to breathe.

I have a landline.    If I am expecting a package I have to pick up the phone....if it's a telemarketer, then I get bombarded with the calls.    Otherwise I let the answering machine get it and they just hang up...and they don't call much.

Maybe will start a topic on scam calls!   Battery low, be back tonight.

 I had my landline canceled because I was getting so many telemarketer calls. I have gotten several notices recently from a couple of companies telling me to watch for scam calls because I guess they are bad right now.
