  1. There is a difference between eternal security and once-saved-always-saved. Eternal security means that one is secure for eternity if, and only if, they remain in Christ. OSAS states that no matter what you do after salvation, you are always saved, so if someone is saved and they go out to rape and kill, it doesn't matter because they are still saved. Can you see the difference? They are the same and true. Jesus Chist said: John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. If you can lose it, you never had everlasting life, only the chance of it. James, through the Holy Spirit, spoke in James 5:19-20 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul[f] from death and cover a multitude of sins. James was speaking to believers when he made this statement. Notice how the above is worded. It is possible for one who is saved to wander from the truth and if he is not turned back, he will suffer death because of the multiple of sins. Jesus even said in Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven Notice the warning and requirement here also. Now, care to answer me one question. If a brother, someone who accepted Christ, does turn back to the world and becomes sexually immoral, dying before he repents, will he be allowed to live eternally with God or will he be cast into the lake of fire? Matthew 7:21 does not refute salvation by faith only at all. It does refute salvation by merit or works. Here is what Jesus Christ said. So it is absolutely sure that all who believe in Jesus Christ the Lord have everlasting life. John 3:14-18 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Here is the full passage for that verse out of context. Matthew 7:21-23 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Notice in verse 21 it says, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.” It does not say, “Not everyone who believes on me.” So the verse quoted does not even refute what I said. Now look at verse 22. When these people hear this terrible news, they immediately list WORKS that they had done that should have given them merit. Notice they do not say, “Lord have we not believed on you.” So the passage quoted does not even refute what I said. Now the reason they are rejected is, because they trust in their own works, their faith does not count. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Now in verse Matthew 7:21, Jesus Christ mentions “he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Jesus Christ tells us exactly the will of the Father in heaven in the following passage. Notice the will of the Father is to just believe on Jesus Christ as I have been saying. The people in the verse quoted did not do this since their faith did not count because they trusted in their own works. John 6:39-40 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Finally in verse Matthew 7:23, Jesus says “ye that work iniquity.” The reason is simple. The following passage shows that the only work of God for salvation is to believe on Jesus Christ. Any other work for salvation is evil. Also since their faith does not count, none of their sins are forgiven. John 6:28-29 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. The verse quoted does not refute that all who believe in Jesus Christ are saved. It refutes what many believe, salvation by works. In love, in Christ, in meekness, Mark
  2. so, are you going to tell me these people didn't believe??? Actually, those people believed the Lord via their scripture, they were scriptural believers who were using the name of the Lord in casting out demons, try to observe before your very eyes and your led/lcd television screen various/divisive religious denominations today performing such act of casting out of demons and their so called miracle healing using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, they are now everywhere around the globe. that's the point I've been dealing with in teaching all a person has to do is believe to be saved..... taking a handful of verses without really defining what a person believes and to what depth can send people to hell There are probably over 200 verses that declare that the only thing that is needed to be saved is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood. The scripture does define what it means to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. To believe on the Lord Jesus Christ is to believe on who He is, what He did, and to trust in what He has promised. You must believe that Jesus Christ is God Almighty who took on flesh. John 8:24, 58 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. John 20:28-29 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. You must believe in what Jesus Christ did. The Lord Jesus Christ shed His holy blood on the cross as the payment for ours sins, He was buried, and rose again the third day. Romans 1:15-17 15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 3:21-26 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Finally you must believe what Jesus Christ has promised – everlasting life just by faith in Him. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. John 11:25-26 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? Thus you must believe the truth about Jesus Christ - God who shed His blood to pay for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. There is a false faith that does not count. Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, wrote the following: Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. That is a person who tries to earn salvation through works or merit denies Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
  3. Just to make sure I understand your positions. 1. You believe in a Big Bang caused by the God of the Bible billions of years ago. 2. You do not believe that mankind evolved from lower life forms, but was a direct creation by God. 3. You do believe in a worldwide flood with only 8 people surviving in the ark. Do you believe that evolution did produce the various other living things? 1. Yes, 2. Yes 3. Yes (though there is some discussion to be had on what "worldwide" means, but that is for a different thread). 4. I do not believe in macro-evolution, or movement between kinds. But I do think that there is more variety now than what God created. We agree on items 2 and 4. On item 1 I just believe God spoke it into existence 6,000 years ago. Item 3 is another thread. I do believe the account is the Holy Bible is literal. I believe that item 2 is the most important of them all.

  5. It was Joseph Gobbles who is being quoted during the time he was the Minister of Propaganda 1933 to 1945. A lot of his work was attributed to Hitler... That makes sense, He was the head of propaganda. Thanks.

  7. The two I gave you were. I thought the one you gave me was also Hitler. This one is attributed to Hitler but some dispute it. “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” Evolution is a whopper of a lie.
  8. Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Can't get any plainer than that. Spoken by God once, written twice. Any yes your interpretation is false. A famous propagandist once said that if you tell a lie enough times people will believe it. Is this what you are trying for? For the 3rd time, I have offered no interpretation at all, I have just posted the words. Please quit saying that my interpretation is false when I have not made one. All I have stated is that the words are plain and clear, just like you claim about the verse you have posted 100 times in the last few days The Soviet Union and Communist China used the same lie.
  9. Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. All I have stated is that the words are plain and clear, just like you claim about the verse you have posted 100 times in the last few days That famous propagandist was Adolph Hitler. He also said: I think he also said: "Give me the youth, and Germany will rule the World" “Let me control the textbooks and I will control the state.” Hitler and the Nazi indotrinated the youth into the great lie of evolution and long ages of the universe. They did not teach 6 day recent creation but opposed that. His religion was based on evolution and the inferiority of non-Aryans. Today evolution and long ages are taught to the youth and are in the textbooks. Hitler thought that if anyone took Genesis 1 and Exodus 20:11 literally they were not as "evolved."

  11. these verses seem very clear... Psalm 104:5 He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved. Psalm 96:10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity. 1 Chronicles 16:30 Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Psalm 93:1 The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved Why do you deny the clear and plain language of these verses? Just an interpretation of yours. ] I offered none, i just posted the Word Of God. Why do you deny the Word.Of God? I believe every word of the Holy Bible, just not your interpretaions. God spoke the following words once and wrote it twice with His own finger into stone. Six days is six days. At the time this was spoken and written (circa 1500 BC) that is 24 hour days. If it weren’t six 24-hour days God would have lied or deceived the Israelites. Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Look at Genesis 1. From the above verse, the whole chapter took only 6 days. It is always days throughout the whole chapter. The days are numbered. Notice also that the day is divided into evening and morning. Notice the order of creation does not match the order given by the Big Bang theory of billions of years. The Sun is created on day 4, the Earth day 1. The trees are created on day 3, but the fish are created on day 5. Also note that in verse 31, at the end of day 6, God said it was very good. But the long ages theory would have had death, disease, and suffering of a multitude of creatures for over billion years at this point. Does not sound very good at all. Adam and Eve would have looked at God and said “are you kidding me?” No wonder they did not believe God in Genesis 3. Genesis 1:1-31 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Jesus Christ said: Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. The Big Bang theory has people created after about 12 billion years. The Holy Bible has it as only in day 6. Jesus also said: Luke 11:50-51 50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; 51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation. That would hardly match 12 billion years later. Anyone trying to claim long ages will never be able to defend the worldwide flood in the days of Noah. Genesis 7:11-24 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. 13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; 14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. 17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. 18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. 20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. 23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. 24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
  12. 6. Evolution claims that mutations which destroy information actually produce new design. The odds are incredibly against this. 7. Evolution ignores the fact that mutations over time should have destroyed all DNA codes in all species many years ago.
  13. these verses seem very clear... Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
  14. No pagan science. not hanging allows for motion. two points...first hanging on nothing does not equal not hanging. And since you seem to think the earth moves despite verses that claim it does not, on what Biblical basis do you base your view that the earth is moving? Please give me the passage from the Bible that you use to come to this conclusion second, so you are saying that the Bible contradicts itself since some verse say not moving and this verse means that it moves? Is that what you are now saying? that we cannot trust the Bible? I believe every word of the Holy Bible. I just do not agree with your assumptions and interpretations. For example I believe this: Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Very clear and plain language. God did it in 6 days. 1 day = 1 day.
  15. Each of your responses were just denying what it clearly said. So you have no real answer. You have not responded to each of my passages though. Sometimes what is "clear" is not all that clear... Psalm 93:1 The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved. These verses clearly says the earth does not move, yet only a handful of people think the universe revolves around the earth. If you have a specific point about a specific passage I would be happy to answer it, but no more shotgun attacks Ezekiel 1 sounds like a vision of some planets in concentric orbits including the Earth. Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. Please address the verses I posted and your Job verse sounds like a fixed earth to me Not if hangs on nothing. The verses are still the following, which are clear and plain English. God spoke the following words once and wrote it twice with His own finger into stone. Six days is six days. At the time this was spoken and written (circa 1500 BC) that is 24 hour days. If it weren’t six 24-hour days God would have lied or deceived the Israelites.
  16. No I believe that motion in space is totally independent of planetary motion after all the astronauts didn't need any specialized tracking equipment to land on the Moon and it's said that they simply tracked the Moons position via Star maps and a Geo-static Earth model. But they did not use a Geo-static Earth model, so they would have missed the moon Evolutionists have come up with their fair share of crazy ideas. In 1958, a children’s book was published called “The Wonderful Egg.” In this book, a non-flying dinosaur lays an egg and the baby that hatches has wings and flies into a tree and sings a song. This book captures the essence of the “hopeful monsters” theory. Unfortunately, for the flying dinosaur, the amount of changes makes it impossible for it to have surviving offspring. The flying dinosaur must mate with another dinosaur to have children. But there are no other dinosaurs with the DNA code changes needed to produce flight. If mating is still even possible, any offspring will certainly die. If the changes are too great even mating may not occur. This was written for children and as late as 1958. what is your point? and where did you copy and paste this from? I wrote those words myself. I also have a copy of that book. If guilt by association proves anything, then is that how evolutionists think a flying creature came about. 1958 is not that far ago. It was written as a children's book.
  17. Each of your responses were just denying what it clearly said. So you have no real answer. You have not responded to each of my passages though. Sometimes what is "clear" is not all that clear...
  18. But don't evolutionists have atheists in their ranks? evolutionists have atheist, theist, Christians, Muslims, Buddhist and more in their ranks. Then again statisticians have atheist, theist, Christians, Muslims, Buddhist and more in their ranks..I guess I should ignore all I know about statistics due to this fact. and mathematicians have atheist, theist, Christians, Muslims, Buddhist and more in their ranks...I guess I should ignore all I know about math due to this fact. Evolutionists have Communist Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Communist China and Moa. That is what was taught in their schools. Oh No!!!!!!! Communist Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Communist China and Moa all teach math in their schools. We need to stop teaching math right now, how could a Christian learn the same things those people are learning! I hope you never use math again! Miss direction. Teach Math, so do Creationists. But they do not indoctrinate into atheistic origin science. Origin without God does sow seeds.

  21. Hum, this is about the rejection of the Big Bang. Those who reject it claim to be subjected to discrimination by the scientific community. My point is not that the Big Bang isn’t true, so I don’t want to say anything about it here.. In the book, Gentry claims actually evidence for instantaneous creation and evidence for the worldwide flood.
  22. Surely you understand the difference between: "Evolution is true because the majority of scientists say so" ...and... "If you find a handful of scientists who believe in creationism compelling, why then isn't the fact that far more scientists believe evolution even more compelling to you?" The former is the fallacy of argument from popularity, whereas the latter is merely pointing out another person's faulty reasoning. The two are not at all the same. Popularity never was a great indicator of truth.
