  1. Jesus promised, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” – so I believe OSAS is proved true. The Lord Jesus Christ promised the saved that He will never leave them. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So the saved could never go to hell. If they did, Jesus Christ would still be with them and would be in hell forever. That emphatic and absolute promise, without condition, shows that once saved always saved is true. Also if the saved could lose salvation and go to hell forever, then Jesus Christ would certainly have forsaken them. So it is impossible fro the saved to lose salvation. Never, ever could it happen. Eternal Security or Once Saved Always Saved is absolutely true and guaranteed by Jesus Christ my Saviour.
  2. But the issue is who is being worshipped. The one true God, Jesus Christ, or someone else. Most do not worship the one true God. Evolution is a lie. All religions are not true, in fact, only the Holy Bible is true. 50 million abortions just in the US alone since 1973 is not a good thing as all. I would disagree with you. So? People can chose who they want to worship. Their just being who they are. Worshipping the devil may not be so good. Also it is evil to not worshipping the Creator and Saviour. It is also evil not to thank God Almighty. But... It's not the devil. It's just somebody worshiping or believing something that makes sense to them I will grant you that. But Jesus did identify that Satan is the source of lies.
  3. Jesus said you only had to believe to be saved. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. That is good news since nobody obeys all His commandments.
  4. Paul is quite clear that works do not save. In fact relying on works for salvation prevents salvation. Neither faith nor works save. Grace alone saves. Relying on works without grace does not save. Relying on faith without grace does not save. Only grace saves. Although saved by grace, it is through faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
  5. Paul is quite clear that works do not save. In fact relying on works for salvation prevents salvation. Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles. (Romans 11:13) He got the gospel of salvation by direct revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:11-12). It is by Paul that the Gentiles are to hear the gospel (Romans 15:16 and 2 Timothy 4:17). Paul wrote the following. So it is absolutely sure that works are not needed for salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; But Paul declared that trusting in works or merit for salvation prevents salvation. Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Hebrews 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Jesus Christ was asked by some people what were the works of God. Notice the plural works, that is, they wanted to know them all. But Jesus Christ answered there was only one (notice the singular) of God and it is just to believe on Jesus Christ. John 6:28-29 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

  8. The danger I see in holding a pre-tribulation rapture is that one may not prepare for the tribulation if they don't expect to be here. If that person suddenly realizes they are going to go through it it could be rather rough. The Scriptures tell us that God will prepare places for His people just like He did for the Israelites when Hew brought judgment on Egypt. However, if one is expecting to taken away they may not be prepared to get to or even know about these places. I believe the Tribulation is not that far off and would exhort everyone to prepare. If God prepares a place that is good. But there is a greater danger for those that do not believe in the pre tribulation rapture and are not saved. Because they are not saved (trusting in works, for example) they will not go in the rapture. Some lie will be put forth to explain why away the rapture will be put forth. Those that remain will be told they must now received "his name" and the "his Father's name". This phrase is found in almost all the new bible verions. The King James just has "his Father's name" the singular name matches Matthew 28. When they do take his name first it will be the mark of the beast.
  9. You are correct. I wonder if those who view God being done with Israel, also view the OT as no longer really important? Well God is certainly not done with Israel. But the New Testament is where salvation is found. As Paul wrote: Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 11:26-27 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
  10. The saved today do not need to observe the Old Testament holy days. Paul the apostle of the Gentiles wroet the following. Colossians 2:16-17 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. This was mentioned earlier but to repeat re Col 2:16-17- This was addressed to the Colossian Christians, a gentile, non-Jewish congregation. From the context we see Paul, in this passage, is countering a local heresy, and doing so he actually confirms and explains the value of God's holy days to Christians. The Colossians were keeping the holydays and were being judged by other Colossians that were stirring up dissent. He explains that the keeping of the holydays foreshadow things to come. In other words, the focus of God's festivals is on the future. remember false teachers were infiltrating the congregation in Colosse. These deceivers were trying to influence the Colossian Christians by introducing their own take on things. Paul warned his congregation back in verse 8. about humanly devised traditions, not God's Holy days. I do not keep OT holy days. As Paul said, stop judging me. See, your interpretation is wrong. BTW, do you dwell in a booth once a year for a week sometime around October? I am going to guess that you do not. If not, you do not keep the OT holy days either. Do not worry. I am with Paul. I will not judge you. I do celebrate the God's holy days-day of atonement has past last week-the Feast of Tabernacles begins on Thursday Sept 19 until the 26th. Tens of thousands of Christians celebrate this in United States and Canada and around the world. We stay in hotels (today's equivalent of booths) and hold sermons in the conference halls. You can find this info on the internet and locations everyone is always welcomed- I will be off this site until probably the 27th or 28th-thank you for asking. Look at the Church of God websites for more about the feast days if you are interested. A hotel is not a booth. But I see you do try. I will not judge you for not dwelling in a booth. Do not judge me for not observing. Just curious, What about meat with the blood, do you eat that? How about lobster and shrimp, do you eat that?

  12. Romans 3:22-26 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
  13. Jesus Christ said: John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. We are to honor the Father as God Almighty. We must then honor Jesus Christ as God Almighty.
  14. I believe in the pre Tribulation rapture. Revelation 3:7-11 7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. The church in Philadelphia is the raptured church. Notice the open door in verse 4. That matches the open door John saw in Revelation 4:1. John was playing out the rapture. Now look in verse 10. "The hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world to try them that dwell upon the earth" is of course the tribulation. Note that those in Philadelphia are kept from that. But the hour tries "them that dwell upon the earth." So to be kept from that, the church in Philadelphia must not be dwelling on the earth, because those that dwell on the earth are being tried. So they must be in heaven. They are raptured. Matthew 25:1-13 1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Notice in verse 10 there is a door that the wise five go in with the bridegroom. That is the same door mentioned in the passage to Philadelphia and the open door John saw in Revelation 4:1. The foolish five do not go through the door and it is shut to them. The foolish 5 are not destroyed right after this event, but they missed out on the rapture and must go through tribulation. Now the bridegroom is Jesus Christ and He has chosen His bride. The bride appears in Revelation 19 in heaven. After the wedding Jesus Christ then returns with all His angels and saints to destroy the wicked. Notice the order. The bridegroom comes, Jesus Christ, and takes the bride to heaven (rapture of the church in Philadelphia). The wedding is in heaven. After that Jesus Christ comes to destroy the wicked.
  15. I think it is tied to the decline of faith in this country. Today, most churches do not stand on the truth at all. Compromise of essential truths are what has lead to this. People believe if we only compromise on the truth with the unsaved, they will believe. It does not work. How will they believe in what the churches do not believe or stand for. Nor is it blessed by God. Today stand for 6 day recent creation and most Christians will attack you, Today stand for the King James Bible and most Christians will attack you, Today stand for salvation just by faith and not works and most Christians will attack you. Today stand for eternal security and once saved only saved and most Christians will attack you. So in schools, children are long ago lost because of evolution. And in churches nobody hears the straight gospel. Society is falling because less people are being saved. Compromise of the truth has fueled the fall.
  16. Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty and Almighty Saviour Jesus acknowledges what Thomas said in John 20:28 is true. Therefore, Jesus declared Himself to be God Almighty by the acknowledgment, since there is only one God. John 20:28-29 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. In the following verse Jesus declares that He is "I AM." That is a direct reference to God Almighty. John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. Jesus declared that He and His Father are one. That makes Him God. John 10:30 I and my Father are one. There are many passages in the Holy Bible that declare that Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty. There are none that declare otherwise. Jesus created the world and all things. God Almighty created all things. Jesus is God Almighty. John 1:1-3,10-11,14 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Colossians 1:14-17 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Hebrews 3:4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. There is only one “the Lord,” that is God. Jesus is the Lord, and therefore God. 1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Deuteronomy 4:35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him. 1 Corinthians 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. Acts 9:4-6,10-11,15,17,27 4And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 10And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. 11And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: 17And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 27But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. The triune God, aka the Trinity, is declared. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. The triune God Almighty is revealed. Notice name is singular not plural. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Again the triune God is revealed. Notice the 3 plurals. Gen 1:26-27 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness … 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Romans 9:5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. John 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Philippians 2:5-6 5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Romans 14:9-11 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
  17. It is absolutely amazing the fall from faith today. Most either flat out reject Jesus Christ or they have adopted a works based or merit based salvation. That is not faith at all. Many deny that eternal security and Once Saved Always Saved are true. But that is just a works based or merit based salvation in disguise. I have never seen so many people just not believe Jesus Christ when He said John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Maybe that is why Jesus Christ said: Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
  18. It is absolutely amazing the fall from faith today. Most either flat out reject Jesus Christ or they have adopted a works based or merit based salvation. That is not faith at all. 19. Paul has the gospel of salvation, the only gospel that can save. From the following verses, it is God’s will, that Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles and that it is through his writings, which he got by direct revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ, that the gospel of salvation is to be preached to the Gentiles. Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: Romans 15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. 2 Timothy 4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. Paul preaches, defends, and declares the gospel of salvation through his writings. Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. Philippians 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: It is the gospel of salvation that Paul preaches through his writings that are the very basis of God’s judgment. Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. From the next verse it is obvious that all who believe the gospel of Christ are saved. No other requirement in mentioned. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
  20. Absolutely. That is when Jesus Christ will return and fight for Israel against the wicked. Zechariah 12:9-10 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Romans 11:26-27 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
  22. To be an apostle you have to see the risen Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 1:21-22 21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. That is why Paul wrote the follwoing to solidify his claim as an apostle. 1 Corinthians 9:1-2 1 Am I am not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? 2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. But Paul is the last to become an apostle. There are no more apostles. 1 Corinthains 15:8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. In fact, Paul warns against anybody claiming to be an apostle. 2 Corinthians 11:12-15 12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
  23. Before God, I have the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ. That is not my righteousness but the righteousness of Jesus Christ which is accounted toward by God. I also have no sin before God. That does not mean that my flesh still does not sin. But all my sins are paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ and forgiven by my faith in His atoning blood.
  24. The Old Testament will save no one. The New Testament is all about salvation. Without the New Testament no one would go to heaven.
