  1. That has nothing to do with salvation for eternal life. It is just a healing of the land for Israelites under the OT law.
  2. Please also deal with at least the second through 100th creature.
  3. I am not sure what part of the planet you live in, but where i am the time between evening and morning is about 11 hours and that changes with the seasons. Can we at least agree the word day has more than one meaning? And yes, one step at a time is the only way to tackle this....it is like eating an elephant....one bite at a time It means 24 hours.
  4. Day always means 24 hours. If God said this must be done in 2 days and 10 years later nothing was done, what would God think. No, day does not always mean 24 hours. In the English language 7 meanings for the word is given in the dictionary The Hebrew word Yom has multiple meanings and is used in multiple ways in Gen 1 and 2 Jesus Christ, who is God Almighty, said the following: Mathew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Obviously the words of Jesus Christ do not pass away. So where can the words of Jesus Christ be. Maybe they are just in heaven and no place on the Earth. But from the Old Testament we have the following: Deuteronomy 30:12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Maybe they are locked up in the manuscripts, in a language that few could understand, meaning most people would not have the word of God. Deuteronomy 30:13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? In fact they are available for us in our own native tongue. Deuteronomy 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. So it is in plain English. A day is 24 hours. Ten days ago .... You must do the following within 10 days. It has rained for 5 days straight ... The language in Genesis and Exodus 20 is plain English. One day (evening and morning are used) is 24 days. Again...the English language has 7 different meanings for the word day. Please educate yourself before making such silly claims, it would save a lot of time The language of Genesis and Exodus 20 are plain and easy to understand. You did not even address the other things like the flood, the order of creation, the evening and morning. You are trying to strain at a gnat, but the camel is against you. 1 day is 24 hours or God lied in Exodus 20:11. God does not lie 6 24-hour days. One step at a time... So do you now openly admit that the 24 hour day of Gen is based on assumptions? Not at all. It says a evening and a morning = 1 day = 24 hours. And not one topic at a time at all.

  8. Are you speaking to us today under the authority of the real and alive Lord God of all ages, or are you putting God in a box, may we know which is which? Is God not real and alive to you? The Holy Bible declares to be from God Almighty the Creator of all things. No other book does that. Without a book you have just an opinion. But that is just an idol like a god in a box. The Holy Bible also proves that it is the true word of God.
  9. I do agree that Jesus Christ is the Almighty Lord God of all ages, but let me ask you these questions, Mark 1. Is the son/man brought forth by Mary the Almighty Lord God? If not, what is he? 2. Whose names are Jesus, Immanuel, Mighty God, Eternal FAther, Counselor, and Prince of Peace? Why did God decree that those names be called to the son brought forth by Mary? 1. Mary was indeed the woman that gave birth to the flesh part of Jesus Christ. She was only a woman and also needed a Saviour. The God in flesh man, Jesus Christ, is the Lord God Almighty. 2. Becuase God always told people a head of time what He would do. The titles belong to Jesus Christ and declare that indeed Jesus is Lord God Almighty.
  10. That's mostly what I've been saying! Although at least one person must have read a biography of Abraham Lincoln like a science fiction! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1611224/ So... If the bible doesn't give a scientific account of creation, then how does one know that the BB as God's means of creation, is in conflict with the bible's account of origins? Totally baffled by this. I totally agree that the bible doesn't contain a scientific account of creation. And you can get some people to acknowledge this. But then when asked to interpret Genesis, or to hold up scientific findings in light of Genesis, they immediately revert to reading Genesis as science. I'm going mad. Nicely said God certainly spoke it into existence according to the Holy Bible. But Genesis 1 gives a different order than those that believe God used the Big Bang and then billions of years. The Holy Bible is quite clear that God created everything in 6 days about 6,000 years ago. There is no way to reconcile the Big Bang billions of years ago and what the Holy Bible clearly says. Please provide the passages that states clearly and plainly, without any assumptions being made, the days of Gen 1 were 24 hour days God spoke the following words once and wrote it twice with His own finger into stone. Six days is six days. At the time this was spoken and written (circa 1500 BC) that is 24 hour days. If it weren’t six 24-hour days God would have lied or deceived the Israelites. Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Look at Genesis 1. From the above verse, the whole chapter took only 6 days. It is always days throughout the whole chapter. The days are numbered. Notice also that the day is divided into evening and morning. Notice the order of creation does not match the order given by the Big Bang theory of billions of years. The Sun is created on day 4, the Earth day 1. The trees are created on day 3, but the fish are created on day 5. Also note that in verse 31, at the end of day 6, God said it was very good. But the long ages theory would have had death, disease, and suffering of a multitude of creatures for over billion years at this point. Does not sound very good at all. Adam and Eve would have looked at God and said “are you kidding me?” No wonder they did not believe God in Genesis 3. Genesis 1:1-31 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Jesus Christ said: Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. The Big Bang theory has people created after about 12 billion years. The Holy Bible has it as only in day 6. Jesus also said: Luke 11:50-51 50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; 51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation. That would hardly match 12 billion years later. Anyone trying to claim long ages will never be able to defend the worldwide flood in the days of Noah. Genesis 7:11-24 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. 13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; 14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. 17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. 18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. 20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. 23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. 24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

  12. Nice to meet you this time Larry and I am happy to know that you yourself is the author of that article. The bible is not God and I am not sure if you may or may not accept that, how do you say now God showed you the truth when you are just coming from the bible which is not God. How did God show you the truth and how did God come to you? You seemed to skip that part for me to understand what you are saying in totality. The bible does not explain that God speaks to us through His written word, it is just you Larry who thinks it that way. The verses you posted above tell us that the Spirit of truth is the one who will guide us and speak to us, has that actually happened to you? If so, how did the Spirit come and introduce himself to you? Larry, may you see that you are just expounding and making conclusions out of what you read and understand in the bible which is not God. You are not hearing anything from God for you to conclude these and that and those are the truth. Is God not real and alive to speak and talk to you? Does God do not have mouth to speak and talk to you came to and called on in Him the time you were desperate of all the things you do to obtain your own salvation? Where and where did the Lord God and Jesus teach that the bible is His way of communication to us today, where do you think God is at this very moment and what is God to you this time? Your belief and understanding is truly different from what you may hear from God today should just learn to wait for Him (God) to respond to your call via two-way communication that God did in the past and today and, of course, tomorrow. God has his own mouth to speak to us, always. Bear that in mind and you will surely come to speak with God in His own terms/ways of living. It is your belief that the bible is the written word of God and same is now clear to me. I just wonder this time why you can’t say anything if the bible is the Lord God or not per se? We do have different perception about the bible and that of the Lord God. I hope that you are saved by what you believe about the bible and God. Now, we come to cross our paths with your statements “I agree. I don’t know anyone who has a genuine understanding of all of the scripture. I do not understand all of the scripture,” and I look at this as humbleness on your part. But to put the bible in a place more than just a testimony to the Lord Jesus is totally out of my desire and intention and I am contented to treat it the way the Lord Jesus taught us – the bible is not the Lord God for us to know who, what, and how is He (God) in His own ways of living. God bless you, Larry. The reason God used the written word to communicate His truth to us is that the written word does not change and is not an opinion of a person or group of people. Here is some examples of why the written word is needed to prevent mankind from forming an opinion about God, which in essence is just an idol. History records many past peoples who actually sacrificed people to their god. Sometimes these were children. Sometimes they were alive. They actually claimed that their god communicated to them in some way. In reality it was just Satan and the other fallen angels, which are just devils. Adolph Hitler had his version of God. Hitler and the Nazis exterminated millions. Many people had communications from god and launched crusades. That is why God put His laws and method of reconciliation in word.
  13. Jesus is Lord God Almighty Jesus acknowledges what Thomas said in John 20:28 is true. Therefore, Jesus declared Himself to be God Almighty by the acknowledgment, since there is only one God. John 20:28-29 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. In the following verse Jesus declares that He is "I AM." That is a direct reference to God Almighty. John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. Jesus declared that He and His Father are one. That makes Him God. John 10:30 I and my Father are one. There are many passages in the Holy Bible that declare that Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty. There are none that declare otherwise. Jesus created the world and all things. God Almighty created all things. Jesus is God Almighty. John 1:1-3,10-11,14 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Colossians 1:14-17 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Hebrews 3:4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. There is only one “the Lord,” that is God. Jesus is the Lord, and therefore God. 1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Deuteronomy 4:35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him. 1 Corinthians 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. Acts 9:4-6,10-11,15,17,27 4And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 10And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. 11And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: 17And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. 27But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. The triune God, aka the Trinity, is declared. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. The triune God Almighty is revealed. Notice name is singular not plural. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Again the triune God is revealed. Notice the 3 plurals. Gen 1:26-27 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness … 27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Romans 9:5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. John 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Philippians 2:5-6 5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Romans 14:9-11 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Acts 16:30-32,34 30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 34And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house. Hebrews 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. 1 John 1:1-2 1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) Philippians 2:9-11 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Ephesians 1:21-22 21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Acts 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Revelation 22:6, 13,16 6And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. There is only one Saviour and that is God. Jesus is the Saviour. Jesus is God. Titus 1:3-4 3But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; 4To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. Titus 2:10,13 10Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. 13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 3:4,6 4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. Hosea 13:4 Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God … Mark 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. 1 Timothy 6:14-15 14That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. Deuteronomy 10:17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward: Psalm 136:3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Matthew 3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John 1:23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. Isaiah 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Jesus said only God could be worshipped. Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Jesus receives worship therefore He is God. Matthew 2:8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh. Matthew 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. Matthew 9:18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. Matthew 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. Matthew 15:25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. Matthew 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Matthew 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. Mark 5:6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, Luke 24:52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: John 9:38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
  14. The Holy Bible is quite clear that works of any kind do not save. In fact, the Holy Bible emphatically states that if someone is trying to earn salvation by works or merit, that person will not get saved till they repent (change their mind) and cease trying to earn salvation. Works done for salvation mean no salvation. They mock Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles, and it is the will of Jesus Christ that the Gentiles are to hear the gospel from Paul’s letters. Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: Romans 15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. 2 Timothy 4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. When asked what is required for salvation here is what Paul and Silas said. Acts 16:30-31 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. When asked “what must I do to be saved” Paul only mentions “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” He never mentions works, so it is not required. In the following passages Paul clearly states that trying to do works for salvation means no salvation. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. The following passage says that we are saved by grace through faith and not works. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. The following passages say if it is works it is no more grace. But we are only saved by grace. Therefore, works means no salvation at all. Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Here are more passages from Paul. Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Hebrews 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, So there is no passage from Paul that says works are required for salvation. There are a number that say works mean no salvation. There are many passages where Paul says that faith or belief in Jesus Christ is salvation, and since it is the only thing mentioned it must be through faith alone and not works. Here are just a few. Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Galatians 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 3:22-26 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Christ Jesus the Lord shows that there is only one thing needed for salvation. They wanted to know the works (plural), that is, the entire list. Jesus listed the only thing allowed faith. Any other work for salvation is not of God. John 6:28-29 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. In the next passage Jesus Christ says that to be saved you only need to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. It works were required then the statement is false. It would have said: he that believes on me and does good works. Since it does not mention works, it has to be by belief alone. Furthermore, if a person does not believe what Jesus says, then they have not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, according to Jesus Christ, a person trusting in works or merit for salvation is not saved. Thus John 6:47 is a faith alone statement which excludes works. Furthermore it is an eternal security statement (once saved always saved) since to have everlasting life means you could never be damned, unless it would say might have everlasting life. Thus Jesus declares that works are not needed to maintain salvation either. The double verily makes this simple to understand statement emphatic. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. There are many passages (probably over 200) where only faith or belief in Jesus Christ is what saves. The same logic above applies to each of these statements. John 3:14-18 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 11:25-26 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 10:28-30 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. The following passage shows that good works come after salvation (as a result of salvation) and not for salvation. Created in Christ Jesus means already saved. Unto good works shows that good works come after salvation (by God working in you). Notice it also says, “should” not must. So they are not required for salvation or to maintain salvation. Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. The above sampling absolutely proves that works are not needed for salvation. They also prove that eternal security (once saved always saved) is absolutely true. They are emphatic and quite clear. Since the Holy Bible has no contradictions, anything that someone thinks shows otherwise is just a mistaken interpretation. Many people assume a passage is talking about salvation/damnation when it is not. This is usually done by taking the verse out of context, assuming meanings of words with false definitions and doctrines, ignoring what salvation really means, or by not rightly dividing the word of truth (see 2 Timothy 2:15) They may be confusing statements made to a different people, for a different time, about a different subject. They may even be using a new Bible version with a corrupt reading. In love, in Christ, in meekness Mark
  15. Jesus Christ, who is the Lord God Almighty, proclaimed the following. John 3:14-15 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Since belief is the only thing mentioned, it must be the only thing necessary for salvation. It cannot be belief plus anything else. If it were, then the statement would not be true. But Jesus said this, so it must be true. If someone does not believe these words spoken by Jesus Christ, then that person does not believe what Jesus Christ said. Therefore that person has not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:14-15 is a faith alone statement. It is also a once saved, always saved statement, else it would say might have everlasting life. If a person have everlasting life, they could never be damned. Jesus Christ, who is the Lord God Almighty, also proclaimed the following. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Again belief in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only thing mentioned. Therefore it is the only thing required for salvation. It could not be belief plus anything else or it would not be true. It is also a once saved, always saved statement. Jesus Christ, who is the Lord God Almighty, also proclaimed the following. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Only belief in the Lord Jesus Christ is mentioned. Again it is a faith alone statement. The difference between going to heaven or not is just faith in Jesus Christ. From the above passages, we are assured by God Almighty the Saviour that if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved forever. Those that are saved through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood have all their sins paid for by that blood. They have all their sins forgiven by faith in His atoning blood. God will not remember their sins. Therefore, no passage of damnation or condemnation applies to those saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Those that have not believed by faith alone are not saved. None of their sins are paid for, forgiven, or forgotten. Every passage of damnation or condemnation applies to them. Many of these quote the very passages that condemn themselves. Jesus Christ spoke the most awesome words ever. Do you believe Jesus Christ the Lord? John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. In love, in Christ, in meekness, Mark
  16. Eternal Security or Once Saved Always Saved is Absolutely True. The Holy Bible has many verses or passages that prove this. Here are just a few. There are many more. Jesus Christ who is God said: John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. If someone has everlasting life, then they could never be damned. If not, they did not have everlasting life but potentially had everlasting life. The verse would say, “might have everlasting life.” Jesus Christ, who is God, would not lie especially with the double verily. Jesus also said: John 3:14-18 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Verse 15 and 16 say the same thing and by the same logic prove eternal security. Both also emphatically claim, “should not perish” which again proves eternal security. In verse 18, Jesus Christ says that they are not condemned. All again prove eternal security. Jesus Christ also said: John 11:25-26 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? In verse 26, Jesus Christ said that they shall never die. Surely you believe God. Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, wrote: Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. If your sealed till the day of redemption, you could not be damned. In the following verse, Jesus says He is with the saved and will never leave them. How could they ever go to hell? Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Jesus Christ the Lord also said: John 10:28-30 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. If someone has “eternal life,” then they could never be damned. If not, they did not have eternal life but potentially had eternal life. Jesus Christ, who is God, would not lie. Again Jesus Christ is emphatic that “they shall never perish.” Obviously no man can pluck them out of Jesus’ hand or His Father’s hand. The apostle John wrote the following. How can you know that you have eternal life if it is only a maybe? 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. The next passage, written by Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, says, “are saved,” not might be saved. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Potentially damned could not be salvation as written by Paul in the following passage. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. The following words spoken by Jesus Christ again prove once saved always saved. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Before the rapture, for those that are saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, there are only 2 possibilities and only one outcome. If they die before the rapture, they get a glorified body and are forever with the Lord. If they are alive at the rapture, they get a glorified body and are forever with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. The above sampling absolutely proves that eternal security (once saved always saved) is absolutely true. They are emphatic and quite clear. Since the Holy Bible has no contradictions, anything that you think shows otherwise is just your mistaken interpretation. From the above, we are assured by God Almighty the Saviour that if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved forever. In love, in Christ, in meekness, Mark
  17. Do you have a book that is inspired by God to back up this? To back what up? I need you to reflect to me what you think I've said that needs backing up by a book inspired by God. The first question is atheistic origin science versus theistic origin science. Science itself will give the answer to that. Once it becomes apparent that atheistic origin science is false, then what God or whatever did it all is the next question. Science itself will not be able to answer this question. Now to answer this question it is quite possible that God is rational and has a purpose for us. So it very reasonable to look to see if God has revealed Himself in word, that is, a book. The Holy Bible is such a book which claims to be about God Almighty Creator. It also proves itself that indeed it is written by God Almighty Creator. The last thing is to just read what it plainly says. Well ok then, if all this time you've been arguing that 'theistic origin science' is about how we all came from Mars on Noah's spaceship then I really had no idea and that rather explains my difficulty in coming to terms with your premises. All this time I've been discussing an unidentified topic! Sorry I confused you. Something else that will help me to better understand you I think; Can you explain to me how you define the word, 'Mainstream'. Is 'mainsteam' what is true, or is 'mainstream' what most people believe to be true. When I use the terms I mean the latter. I get the impression from your statements above that you mean the first? I actually mostly never use that word. I would define it as the later. Then you believe that the majority of Christians believe that we came from Mars? I have know idea where the majority of "Christians" think.

  21. Do not need to go to court. Just pointing out the truth.
  22. But this seems like a trail that leads away from the topic of Big Bang Theory or of Science vs Religion. Well the trial ended with atheistic origin science without an answer to the origin of all things.
  23. Thus, you set the conditions so that science and faith must be in conflict, and if science is able to explain the origin of the universe, creation by God is thereby disproved. Those who seek the demise of Christianity are all too happy to accept those terms. There is no conflict between real science and faith in the real truth. God created everything in 6 days about 6000 years ago. Now the false science of evolution from atoms to man and old ages is in conflict with real science and faith in the truth.
  24. Do you have a book that is inspired by God to back up this?
