Have to disagree. I did not strive. I resisted. God would have none of that. It was God first loved me while I still resisted even acknowledging his existence.

God does answer prayer of His saints in Christ. He answered the prayers of one for me, and I had no capacity to resist the call by the Holy Spirit to turn about to my own repentance as answer to the prayers of a saint in Christ Jesus. For thirty five years plus God has been pulling me to where he will have me to serve,in times I was eager and in times I was not. My salvation is all of God's doing and none of mine except to have had to acknowledge with some excitement at the time that  if it is true that Jesus is God and is my salvation I want it. it is still that way today. i want it, and it is certain by His doing and not by mine. I serve as best I can  but that is not my salvation. Jesus is my salvation, by His sacrifice on the cross by His shed blood by His taking on my shame. There is no merit within me that saves me, none. I am saved by God's grace and mercy alone.

Are you a saint and disciple of Jesus? God's love will not continue if you don't prove with a transformed life. One has to work out salvation with fear and trembling. Grace with truth, not just grace

1cor11:1.  Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ

1cor4:16  You are to imitate me,just as I imitate Christ

Phil.3:17.  My fellow Christians, imitate me more and more...

There May be a few more, but I think I proved my point.......

You have proved nothing. Self-claims can hardly be called an endorsement.

Paul said this, not me......Paul said nothing in his epistles that Jesus did not tell him to.The Holy Spirit,in fact, is behind every word that the Bible says.Paul, Moses, Peter, etc. were merely secretaries who put pen to paper.Jesus, not Paul of course paid the price for all the sins of the world—- Paul shows us how to “ cash in.” Jesus revealed to Paul the “ Mysteries” that hitherto were unknown to the world. We need to follow the Marching Orders Of Jesus when He tells us to follow Paul.God bless.

Jesus never said to follow Paul. We need imitate Jesus not any rank outsider. The Holy Spirit was sent to remind us of Jesus' words.

    So thought the twelve Apostles as they argued among themeselves,  two even with their mother helping to contend for recognition of her own as the highest followers of Jesus;

..."An argument arose among them as to which of them was the greatest.  But Jesus, knowing the reasoning of their hearts, took a child and put him by his side  and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”....

That seems to me to be a pretty nominal standard spoken by God the Son to those many think of as the highest of human authorities and teachers under Christ Jesus.

Plus; I can hand out a glass of cool water in the name of my Lord Jesus too!

Trying to rise up above others or to look down upon others is pride!

God is not a trickster. God does not play gotcha games. He has not made a yoke so complex that few can wear it.

Without striving on our part to be holy or perfect, salvation is a closed door

I don't see any more false things there as I see in most other denominations, just different....   and yes I have been to most of them and not just visiting but involved.

You do find merits and demerits in all denominations and sects. We need to pick the best. I too have been involved with many groups.

    AND:

Romans 8 English Standard Version (ESV)

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

The correct and complete translation of KJV is right:
1    There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

     Nominal Christians stand no chance!

Paul was referring to those that added a doctrine of works to pervert his Gospel of Grace. I don’t know where the line is drawn, but why put ones self into a state of jeopardy ?

There is nothing like gospel of grace! Gospel is both grace and truth. One without the other is counterfeit.

If you truly desire to follow Jesus—- do what He said to do.....follow Paul as he follows Christ....simply believe  the Gospel.....1Cor15:1-4.....and add to it at your own risk.

If you followed Paul instead of Jesus, you may end up following Paul. Paul will not and cannot offer salvation

if one has declared Jesus as their Lord, they are not going to be people who work iniquity,    If they do they just made liars of themselves for if Jesus is our Lord we are obligated to do the things he told us to do....   People who love God with all their strength and love their neighbor as themselves are not going to be going around working iniquity.....   and they will be baptized and take acre of each other love their wives and such.....

I believe this is what James was getting at when he speaks of faith and works..      but I am a Lordship Salvation kind of guy...…     Faith is more than knowledge, it is a trust.....   a trust to put yourself completely in the hands of the Lord....      Allow him to be your Lord.....   Make him your Lord....     many ways of saying the same thing.

Without  fruit of the Spirit, salvation is lost!

while they don't play instruments in church, they do usually have very good music.  The Church I attended for my first 17 years had many of the congregation take voice lessons and choir practice once a week....    most people could read shape music.  I was taught as a child that they did not have musical instruments because there isn't any mention of them being used in the Churches in the New Testament...

There are many other reasons that I decided it was not the place for me, but most of the people there are serious Christians   I think what bothered me the most was finding out that they do believe that no one can be saved until they are baptized by a member of their group of churches....    It is the act of baptism that saves a person.  But I would say that they do have a group of people that can baptize anyone 24/7/365 when that person decides to be saved.

It is a cult with false beliefs!

No one could go into that chamber for it is guarded by angels.  I saw his video with his whole team there, and heard his testimony.  My spirit tells me his spirit is telling the truth.  God wanted this revealed, and he happened to choose this humble man.

That was not the only place he found, but found many other biblical historical sites and provided proof also, but the Christian land also don't want to believe that God leaves concrete evidences to an unbelieving world for a witness that the bible is true?

    The two witnesses will reveal.

Anything shrouded in secrecy and continues to be held in secrecy is not truth.

We all know that as ''born again'' Christians we are the temples of the Lord but the nation of Israel is still plan on building their Temple and the Ark of the Covenant is important for that reason and future prophesy imo until Gods times of the gentiles is over then turns back the hearts of Israel to him again .. It is rumored that Menelek , the son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba ''an Ethiopian'' visited his father when he was grown but still young and that a replica of the Ark was made and returned with Menelek to Ethiopia in order to throw Israels enemies off, it seems it may still be there to this day .. Like some other posters have mentioned Ron Wyatt made some interesting discoveries and his conclusions bear up with what the Word states concerning the Ark, timelines, and very interesting testimony .. Those are my thoughts as of now ..

Yes, you have good reasons to believe that it may be a replica of the Ark that might be in Ethiopia.

Actually, there a very strong tradition that it is under the Temple mount based on the fact that the Jews had made facsimiles of the original pieces of temple furniture and that if they were ever invaded, they had a plan to replace the original pieces with the facsimiles and hide the originals under the temple mount.  Thus the temple furniture depicted on the Arch of Titus are not the originals.  There is a walled off chamber in a labyrinth of tunnels that is believed to be where the ark and other pieces of furniture are stored.

Even when the first temple was there, it had been moved elsewhere. So possibility of hiding in the temple itself cannot be thought of.

    Invitation to Repentance Jeremiah 3:15-17

…15"Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding. 16"It shall be in those days when you are multiplied and increased in the land," declares the LORD, "they will no longer say, 'The ark of the covenant of the LORD.' And it will not come to mind, nor will they remember it, nor will they miss it, nor will it be made again. 17"At that time they will call Jerusalem 'The Throne of the LORD,' and all the nations will be gathered to it, to Jerusalem, for the name of the LORD; nor will they walk anymore after the stubbornness of their evil heart.…

The bible has all the answers for believers. If in Jeremiah it says , God will give you shepherds after His own heart who will feed Israel knowledge and understanding, this will be during a time in which they are multiplied in the land.

They will no longer say 'the Ark of the covenant of the Lord, why because His chosen are the Ark. This is why the Ark will not come to mind, nor will they remember it (  the Shepherds will not remember it) nor will they miss it ( how could you when you know you are the Ark) nor will it be made again. It won't be made again by the Shepherd's after HIS Heart. So Ethiopia, if touting this are not Shepherds after His heart. The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo, hold many truths, but the truth is they do not hold the wooden Ark. The people believe they do because of the Priest. And it is only by birth and election through lineage that a priest can know or claim to know. It is a wonderful tool of control over the people. But Jeremiah makes it clear, it will not come to mind, nor will they remember it, nor will they miss it nor will it be made again. Simply put it is gone! Israel will be called the throne of the Lord because that is what the Ark was 'The Mercy Seat'. The chosen of God are God's throne and will be in Israel. A throne represents a place from which rule and reign comes. This represents God's knowledge ruling from the mind of the shepherds , hence (verse 15 feed you on knowledge and understanding). That is why Jerusalem will be called the throne of the Lord.

It is going to be heavenly Jerusalem, not the present land

I don't know, but I will believe the Ethiopians, maybe, when they show us!

    Perhaps:

19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail. Rev 11:19

Anything in secret cannot be truth. It is better go by Rev 11:19
