Very inspiring! I've experienced the Holy Spirit talking through me, but didn't make the connection til now!

By nostalgia I mean like a certain positive emotional feeling comes over me, I didn't mean to come off as having memories of being there.

My whole life even before I believed I still felt an eerie, deeply nostalgic connection with the river Jordan... Anyone else have this too?

I lost 2 of my best friends in the last three years. One was a Marine that mysteriously passed away while on furlough from Afghanistan at 25, he was a very loyal friend. The other was a volunteer firefighter who died in a motorcycle accident at 25 as well. They passed within about a year of each other and it hit me super hard...

I thought I had read that or something along those lines. Thanks for the clarification!

The NT says to avoid earthly achievements, and the world and the flesh are regularly frowned upon. So, would pursuing a college degree be considered an earthly achievement? I don't want to be worldly, but I don't want to lose mental sharpness either!

I've recently been wondering about differences between the KJV and the catholic bible myself...

Okay, Thanks a lot for everyone's help. I'm no longer worried about the devil's attacks, because I'm certain that the Holy Spirit is in my heart. Bless The Lord!

I do want to get right with God and I DO believe in him. I just heard the term watchman today in the chat room and did some research and think it would be awesome to be one.

It shows itself in my mind, never walking around outside or anything. Usually I just hear its voice, but it uses the voice of all kinds of people I know to harass me.

I've seen this thing show itself in all sorts of ways. I just started to rebuke it and it started to laugh. I have grown so much even in the last few weeks. I'm a completely different person than I used to be. I believe that Jesus is Lord of my life.

Oh and also, I believe I have many demons in me, because satan was attacking me about six months ago and acted like he stole my soul. He manifested and told me to spit, then influenced me into spitting in my imagination. Immediately it felt like my soul was taken from me.Since then my inward feeling has felt "dead", I can't feel my soul inside me like I used to feel. Satan even claimed to be in me several times. I hate feeling like this!
