For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. It doesn't say try or strive to follow Jesus....it says follow the steps of JESUS...... Nobody on here is saying we are faultless...sometimes we leave dishes or clothes laying around...forget to turn off lights..etc..etc..have a mole on my ear....etc...etc.. But I have no desire to commit adultery....or steal...or any of the rest of JESUSs laws written on my mind and heart...I want no part of sin.... Focus on Godly love...and sin becomes a distant and forgotten memory...

If you can't get your own desires under control with the power of the Holy Spirit....you wouldn't be approved for the crown of Life for those that love him. JESUS was the perfect sacrifice that none of us could do to save us from the coming wrath and get us into his family. Getting your desires under control is called obedience and love for Jesus. If you having trouble carrying your cross, JESUS or any Child of God would help you. That is what a loving family does...Jesus even got help carrying his cross...he understands...but we all must carry our cross...and stop sinning Luke 10:18-20 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Satan is on earth...Look around.... They are claiming that salvation depends on you not committing even a single sin. You should not commit a single sin...not will not.. The problem in this train wreck of theology is that it fails to take into account that the Bible deals with spiritual truths from an objective standpoint and a subjective standpoint. Your view is based on a warped and unbiblical and almost cultish view that makes all of salvation hinge on being spotless and perfect in all of our words and deeds and in doing so, diminishes the perfecting work of Christ on the cross. it really throws your wacky theology into a tailspin, Your view of God isn't the God the Bible presents. Your theology is warped and demonic, and full of condemnation and absent completely of grace, mercy, longsuffering, forbearance, forgiveness. It is false teaching and a doctrine of demons. One way I can always spot false teachers, wolves in sheep's clothing, is the way they misquote and misrepresent the Scriptures to say something that isn't there. Under the New Covenant....by your words you will be justified or condemned... Revelation 2:23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. Now it is words, minds, heart, actions, behaviors, and attitudes that all human beings will be judged by.
