  1. Howdy! I am still unlearning a lot of what I have been learning over the last 5 years or so, so that I could get away from what man thinks is acceptable and stop living for man, but for God. If there is one thing that I could add is that sin is sin. There is no sin greater than the other (aside from blaspheming against the Holy Spirit) and even though those who are born again are dead to sin, we are still tempted and still give into sin. Homosexuality is no different than any other sin and those who tell you otherwise (according to scripture) are wrong. As humans, we try and comprehend sin based on merits that make us uncomfortable or how 'bad' the sin is. When people try and define what 'bad' is, it's what man has defined as 'bad' based on whatever man made scale we have made up for its definition instead of turning to the Bible to see that all sin is equally bad and one not greater than another. The media has used homosexuality to destroy and embarrass Christianity saying that we hate homosexuals. This is not further from the truth. We love homosexuals, it is acting on the sexual immorality that Christians do not like; just like those who fornicate outside of marriage, commit adultery, steal, are drunkards, are prideful, lustful, vengeful, etc. I hope this helped at least a little.
  2. I was wondering if someone needed two baptisms. Scripture does not state nor does it have an example of someone needing/receiving two baptisms, however, when infant baptisms occur, are we then filled with the Holy Spirit at that point? Or, are we not filled with the Holy Spirit until later in life when we come to the ‘age of accountability’ and choose to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and let him into our hearts?
