I agree that it's likely not a physical trumpet that's blown.  Have you noticed the correlation between God's voice and trumpets?  For example:

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet.  Rev 1:10

A reference to Christ.  And this one:

Do not be amazed at this; for a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come out.  John 5:28-29a

We know that a resurrection happens at the trump of God, which also occurs when His voice is heard.

And then there's the Sinai account of receiving the 10 commandments with a trumpet / voice connection.  Something to think about.

The white horse rider of the first seal is given a victor's crown and a bow.  His arrows are the flaming arrows of the evil one and he is given a measure of success in the spreading of those lies.  He will have the appearance of godliness but will deny the power thereof.

His goal is to throw down the harlot and enthrone the man of sin.  That's where we are now, in the process of destroying the harlot (deep state, swamp, apostate Jews).  When the beast and his ten horns deal the death blow to the harlot, it signifies the opening of the second seal.

The 24 Divisions represents all priests that served at the Temple, the same scheme that the 24 elders represents all the saints.

They represent the Victorious wise virgins fetched up to the Feast of the Lamb.

In the throne room narrative of Rev 4 & 5, the 24 elders are there singing a song before any mention of the Lamb.  When the Lamb shows up, they sing a new song.  Something changed.

There is only one unforgivable sin, and according to Jesus, it's not idolatry.  The mark and the image work together to coerce worship of the man of sin.  There will come a time when people refuse to repent of the mark and image, as the scriptures mention, but that is not until well into the plagues.  Until then, yes, it can be repented of.

It is the persistent use of the mark and worshiping of the image that is unforgivable.  Those are the people being described in Revelation 14, those who refuse to repent.

No doubt there was a literal brick and mortar temple in Jerusalem, but it was destroyed in 70 ad as Jesus foretold.

The first tabernacle and Temple was a type and shadow of spiritual things to come. The pattern of earthly things would be revealed in the pattern of heavenly things.

But God showed in the pattern of the earthly tabernacle, Temple, and sanctuary, that it was a place for God to put His name, and a place for God to dwell. 

But we saw by God’s words to the Old Testament prophets, why God said He would depart from the people and the sanctuary that was made for God to dwell.

It was the overspreading of all the abominations the people and the priests had done that brought on it’s destruction. It is much the same with the temple of our bodies.

Paul said, if any man defile the temple of God (referring to our bodies) him will God destroy.

Jesus told us in Mark 7:17-23 what defiles a mans house, and all these things is also what the Devil desires.

In the beginning man was made in the perfect image of God, spiritually speaking. But that inward image was corrupted in man when iniquity was found in man.

And from that time the Serpents desire became mans desire, and so this is also how man worships “the image”of the first beast, which is the Serpent.

But man also worships another image when he lives in sin, and that image is “the image of man,” or the image of self; as sin is self serving; or a form of “self worship.”

In this way man in his own mind has become his own god, because he does not worship the One True God.

The desire of the Serpent, is the same desire that works in the sinful man, because they are of the same spirit.

It is this spirit and 7 other wicked spirits that were foretold by Jesus to enter back into man’s house (temple) to fulfill the prophecy of the mystery of iniquity. Jesus showed this mystery in Matthew 12:43-45

So this wicked generation Jesus spoke of would have all these evil spirits enter into the temple of their bodies. And these wicked spirits would move mankind to a form of “self worship”by serving the lusts and desires of the flesh; which is the same desire to sin as the god of this world.
 

In this way, they have set themselves up in their own hearts and minds, worshiping and “serving the creature” over that of the Creator.

2 Corinthians 13:5

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

I agree.  Not many people take the time to understand the interplay between Satan, the beast and the false prophet.  They all work in concert so that the Satan possessed false prophet exercises dominion.

The man of sin (false prophet) will sit in a position of authority much like the Pharisees sat in the seat of Moses, a position of authority, however, we are not to worship (obey) the man of sin.

Yes, there is a point in the progression of the seven plagues where people refuse to repent, however, that point is not reached until late in that progression. 

What's the purpose of mentioning that people didn't repent if its a foregone conclusion that they couldn't repent?  Why mention repenting at all if it weren't a desired outcome?  Idolatry is a forgivable sin.

The plagues are judgments designed to reveal to the deceived that the man of sin is a fraud.  Some see it and repent, others don't.  Those who stay repented until Jesus returns on the 1335th day are blessed and inherit the earth and repopulate it.

That pertains to those who persist in utilizing the mark and worshipping the image.  In other words, that applies to those who refuse to repent.  Note the verb tense of worships and receives.  Its not past tense which would fit your understanding, its active present.

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat.

The Lord said He would make man rare in number on earth, like the finest of gold. And He also said a "few men" shall be left.

Isaiah 24:6
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and "few men" left.

Notice people will still be "sinning and dying" after the new heavens and the new earth....

Isaiah 65:17-25 “For, behold, I create "new heavens and a new earth": and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child "shall die"an hundred years old; but "the sinner"being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of 
a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord."

Many believe the above verses from Isaiah are speaking of after the millennial reign of Christ on earth because it speaks of new heavens and a new earth.
 

But notice in verse 20 above there are people who are still "dying and sinning". This cannot be the saints who are of the "first resurrection" because we are told the second death has no power over them.(Rev. 20:6)

Also, if people are still "dying" it means the last enemy (which is death) has not been destroyed yet, as shown here....

1 Corinthians 15:26
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 

Revelation 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

So we can only conclude that the passages above from Isaiah 65 are during the millennial reign of Christ on earth. We also see prior to death being destroyed Satan is loosed again and goes out and deceives "the nations"....


Revelation 20:7-8 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to "deceive the nations" which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."(the battle of Gog and Magog Ezk. 38-39)

These revived nations are shown here in Daniel 7:12 "As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for "a season and a time".(= a thousand years)

In order for there to be "nations" as the number of the sand of the sea, there has to be those who are of "the flesh" that survive the cleansing of fire mentioned by Peter.

And these survivors are the ones who can still sin and die during the millennial reign of Christ on earth. These survivors are also the ones who will repopulate the earth during this time.
And they are the ones who will be "deceived" when Satan is let loose after the thousand years. So you will have mortals and immortals on the earth at the same time.

It all makes perfect sense when you put all the pieces together.

My take is that it is the meek who will inherit the earth.  In other words, those who repented of receiving the mark and worshipping the image.  Idolatry is a forgivable sin.

You really think saved believers will be excusing themselves for the everyday cares of life at the end of the great tribulation?  That they be buying and selling, and feeling free to marry even? 

This warning is for believers now before the great tribulation comes.  It is now that believers can have their sights and hearts on the treasures of this earth.

That warning from Jesus is about missing the Marriage Supper in Heaven which requires leaving the earth and so it cannot be at the end of the great tribulation. 

I prefer the word of God according to Zechariah over human reasoning.  Do you have a scripture that shows God sounding a trump later than the one in Zechariah?  If not, maybe a rethink of things is in order.  If so, please post it.

I think that's very close.  The symbolism of a harlot is used most often of apostate Israel and the "deep state" in the US is being unduly influenced by apostate Jews.  Their involvement in industries that shape people's opinions and influence people's lives (news media, sports, acting, music, banking, politics) is there for anyone to see.

And remember who it is that casts down the harlot . . . the beast and his 10 horns.  So while we might rejoice at the death of the wicked witch, what comes shortly thereafter is the time of great tribulation.

7And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

 

8The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition:

WHAT IS THE ANGELS TELLING US?  THE BEAST WAS, BUT NO LONGER IS 
because he is bound and sealed in the ABYSS for the Lords Day

...but THERE IS THE SHORT SEASON coming in which HE IS GOING TO BE RELEASED and that will be AT THE END OF the Lords Day...

but WHILE HE IS BOUND IN THE ABYSS

and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.



once judgment has taken place, Satan is bound, his time of 'IS NOT' is upon him, and he is not able to communicate, is not able to influence, is not able to 'blind', etc.  

BUT he will be loosed....

so he 'yet is'  






And when he is loosed, it will be 'and YET IS' season,

7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Right? or no?

I see Satan, the beast, and the false prophet as three separate distinct entities who work together to deceive the world into worshiping the man of sin.

When the angel describes the beast to John, he says that the beast was, and is not, and is to come up out of the abyss.  That timing is relative to John's existence late in the first century.

While I do agree that Satan "is not" during the millennial kingdom, the beast "was not" during the time of the great commission, the spreading of the gospel to all nations.

Ohhh my,

looks like some of Jesus's witnesses won't be doing what they supposed to be doing during the time of those two witnesses.

Be dodgy if you want.  If you want to understand the two witnesses, read Zechariah 4.

Don't you call the servants of Jesus Christ "christians "or do you call them something else?

Isn't Jesus Lord of the Old Testament saints too?   As well as Lord of the angels?

These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.  Rev 11:4

Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones, who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.”  Zechariah 4:14

I'd suggest re-reading Zechariah 4 for a more complete understanding of who these two witnesses are.
