What is 2 peter 1:13-15 talking about?

In one part of the bible it does mention the spirits of men by the word spirit.It's in hebrews 12:23.

When jesus appears to his followers in Lk 24:36-39.Why are they so afraid if they know it's a demon?Why didn't they just try to exorcise the thing they were seeing if they thought it was a demon?

In Lk 24:36-39 jesus talks about spirits looking like humans.So does this mean he was talking about demons taking human form?

What gets me is how the people in acts talk about it.First they mention paul talking to angels and then they say if he talked to a spirit they would believe that too.Why would they believe that if it was a demon?Were they just superstitious?

What I still don't get is why in acts 23:6-9 does it make it sound like talking to a spirit is a good thing?

Also didn't christ's followers in mark 6:47-51 think jesus was a spirit?

The reason I think it might be a demon is acts 16:16-18.

If you notice the bible doesn't use the word ghost.So what does the word sprit mean?

Why is divination like rebellion? Because in 1 samuel 15:23 it is.By the way I got this translation in the niv of the bible.
