  1. You're an amazing person! Try to gain confidence and strength in expressing yourself online, and being of help to others. Oh, and you're not alone dear. My friend who's an introvert doesn't really speak too much when she hangs out with us. But she's very active, working out, joining the marathon, and writing songs. I know you've got so many talents where you can actually express, without the need of approval from others and without having to speak too often. Hugs!
  2. Oh my, this is such a hopeless case. This reminded me of what the 93-year old Simone Klugman has shared about her thoughts on Putin's actions. - Putin's Pigeons by Simone Klugman
  3. So sad to hear what you're going through but know that God is there to help and guide you! I'm also in the same situation where I have to take 3 jobs to support my niece and nephew being that they were left by their mom due to my brother's porn addiction. It's very frustrating and exhausting, but also very rewarding. Have you tried taking online jobs so at least you'd earn while you watch your kids? You could also sell the things that you don't really need so you'd get extra bucks. I suggest you remind Doug over and over again his responsibilities and if he still can't perhaps you need to leave him. Is there a way that you could ask your parents or siblings for any assistance in taking care of your kids? Or maybe talk to Doug's parents? Maybe they could enlighten him. I wish that you'll eventually overcome your problems. Don't forget to take care of yourself. Best of luck Jamie.
  4. Thank you for sharing your story. I find it so relatable as my brother is also a recovering addict (under the GreatnessAhead therapy program) and even if he's doing a lot better not than the past 3 years, his wife left him (wife went to Vietnam) and his 2 kids. It was a devastating experience not only for his family but for us. My parents were deeply shattered and our family's reputation was stained. I just hope that his wife realizes everything and start a new chapter with him and heir kids.
  5. I could relate to what you feel and I agree with the above comments. Ever since I was a kid, my mom would tell me that God has 3 answers to our prayers - Yes, No and Wait. I'm sure you'll eventually find out His reason behind each answer and that you'll figure out soon what his reply would be. Just be fervent and honest when you ask for help and also to thank Him for everything. Always call His name whenever you can!
