  1. Hi,

You have confused me more. Thanks anyhow.

I think the point that you say wild branches are grafted in. You seem to be missing or at least it seems they are grafted in to the original and natural tree, they become part of it, therefore though they once were wild now they are joined and produce based on the connection to the tree. Who is Jesus , It does in fact say we are jews you are looking at scripture pointed out and saying it doesn't say that. That is very confusing in itself

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  2. Hi,

I am a bit confused, maybe you can help me.

I thought Romans was being addressed to the saints?

In the passage of Romans it definitely does say we are circumcised of the heart, we are grafted in but we are grafted in to the Lord, who is a jew.

So how can we not be jews?

I know this is a dispute over the law but it clearly does say we gentiles do becomes jews and I have always believed that. I do not practice Jewish customs but I still identify with them because Jesus is the King of the Jews.

Can you please tell me how this is wrong because even when I read your responses so far it seems confusing what you are saying.

    Thanks a lot

    -Will

  3. Joshua,

You are failing to distinguish between legal righteousness (justification by faith) and imparted righteousness.  You quoted a lot of verses to me about righteousness, but you fail to make the distinction.   When righteousness is mentioned in terms of what we become,  it is imparted righteousness which receive in the future when our bodies are renewed.

The righteousness we have NOW is legal or forensic righteousness.   That's because you still have an unregenerated sin nature (mind will emotions).   You are placed in legal right standing with God, but that is on the basis of faith and is credited to you.  It's what we call, "positional justification."  You are declared righteous, but that is not something that is manifest in your flesh at this point.

Yes we are new creations and we have new, and recreated inner man, our hearts are reborn, but that doesn't negate the reality that only one stage of salvation has been accomplished at this point.  We still have sin nature that wars against the Spirit and that is borne for us all over the New Testament.   You need a better understanding of the of legal aspects of salvation that are in play at this point.

This is a beautiful response. Well said.

  4. I have a bit of a different perspective. We have a free will but God knows every thought, action and decision, so even though we are making choices, we make them according to what is already known by God. Jesus chose us not the other way around, only God knows why He chose me.He leads us to even experience repentance.

My free will is there, I can by food or not, have a bath or not etc. but when it comes to the plan of God He is not shocked because He knows everything.

That to me is awe inspiring. Every person, every thought, every action, every hair. WOW.

    praise God forever.

  5. Yes Xy the scripture is true and blessed. Amen.

But people process differently. We should be able to agree on all of it after all it is the word of the living God and not just a book.

    Thanks for the reminder.

God bless you as you continue to seek Him

  6. I think being in this world ..... Even as christians we can't seem to agree on our own Bible. Which is the literal word of God.

I long to go from here. I long to see my Jesus. I long for His love and rest. Sadly I have much work to do before I will have that.

The world is so beautiful , waterfalls, growing grass, trees it is gorgeous, but the beauty is shaded by the evil.

God in His wisdom chose each of us. I long for the day we rise as those people together. Until then, there is much to be done, we walk in the world as strangers with a mighty sword the word of God, people are murdered daily for this belief. Because it is the only truth there is..

God bless your people and come quickly Lord Jesus I pray. Things are going to get much more worse Help us to endure and declare your word in power and boldness.

God gives me strength and He gives me what I need but listening to Him perhaps would change the way we see.

    Just my thoughts...

    -Will

  7. Hello Butero,

    God bless you.

You make the mistake many do in thinking it is not for the brethren, the truth could not be in us if we were not saved already.

    Just something to think about.

    You said"

We do sometimes sin without meaning to.  I also believe those sins are under the blood covering, and if it were not so, hardly anyone would be saved."

So that is where I got that.

You may believe what you will, I have no interest in changing your mind, I guess you won't really know until you stand before Jesus.

    Enjoy your day

    -Will

  8.

I do not always pray over my food. I am thankful I have it but sometimes I forget to do so. I have a grateful heart and thank God and most of the time I do pray over the food because God is our source. But, I do forget sometimes :(

    Romans 14(AMP)

One man esteems one day as better than another, while another man esteems all days alike [sacred]. Let everyone be fully convinced (satisfied) in his own mind.

He who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. He also who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; while he who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.

it does not make us a better or worse Christian if we don't ask for a blessing...God knows what is in our heart :)

Thanks Sis, I agree with you :D

  9. Good Morning Butero,

    God bless you.

I don't ascribe to any teaching in particular.

You are drawing truths from the word but perhaps overlooking the ones that are also just as important.

In your last comment you mention 1 john.

In 1 john 1:9 it says If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10:if we say we have no sin we make God a liar and the truth is not in us.

O.k so if we can make God a liar by saying we are no longer sinners, we simply don't know the truth. Sin is sin, sin unconfessed is not redeemed, that is an error in thinking sir.

Sin is not covered up like people try to do, in fact if you are living bound in pornography as an example God may just send someone with a revelation of that and call you to repent. The reality of God is much different than what fits in our neat little boxes. Know what I mean? The enemy has asked for us by name and he knows every weakness we have.

I certainly don't believe it is ok to sin, I certainly don't believe we have no choice. I do however acknowledge that I myself sin, yet I walk daily and pray constantly, sometimes things irk me, sometimes I worry, we can't simply say well if we make a mistake or commit a sin we are covered. No that is not accurate. Sin will undoubtedly separate us. We are sinners, redeemed by Jesus, called to walk worthy of that calling. Faithfully and reliantly upon Him and Him alone, but we do sin. I am going to show you something maybe you have missed. Paul is speaking present tense, having already a new nature.

    Romans 7:15-

15 For I do not understand my own actions [i am baffled, bewildered]. I do not practice or accomplish what I wish, but I do the very thing that I loathe [[a]which my moral instinct condemns].

16 Now if I do [habitually] what is contrary to my desire, [that means that] I acknowledge and agree that the Law is good (morally excellent) and that I take sides with it.

17 However, it is no longer I who do the deed, but the sin [principle] which is at home in me and has possession of me.

18 For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot perform it. [i have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.]

19 For I fail to practice the good deeds I desire to do, but the evil deeds that I do not desire to do are what I am [ever] doing.

20 Now if I do what I do not desire to do, it is no longer I doing it [it is not myself that acts], but the sin [principle] which dwells within me [[b]fixed and operating in my soul].

21 So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands.

22 For I endorse and delight in the Law of God in my inmost self [with my new nature].

23 But I discern in my bodily members [[c]in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [[d]in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh].

24 O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and deliver me from [the shackles of] this body of death?

25 O thank God! [He will!] through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

The flesh is constantly warring with the Spirit my brother.

It seems that you are saying if we do sin it is no big deal, I don't understand this. It is something we indeed must deal with.

It dwells within us. we must overcome it.

God bless you as you continue to seek Him.

    -Will

  10. No, we are not sinners saved by grace.  We used to be sinners, but now we are saved by grace.  The Apostle Paul was not saying he continued to sin when he referred to himself as the chief of sinners.  He was speaking of his condition before he met Christ.  He was speaking of how he condemned innocent people to death for their faith.  Paul also stated that he had to keep his body under subjection so he wouldn't be a castaway after he had preached the gospel to others, indicating that even Paul could fall from grace and be lost.  See how easy it is to go back to a single scripture and try to use it to build a doctrine.  "The part of us that is born again no longer sins?"  What in the world does that mean?  Are you claiming we have split personalities Shiloh?  One part lives a pure and holy life while the other part sins?  We are who we are.  We are either a born again believer or we are not.  The passage in 1 John is plain, and it states that a Christian no longer lives in sin, and it is he that practices righteousness that is righteous.

    Romans 7:15Amplified Bible (AMP)

15 For I do not understand my own actions [i am baffled, bewildered]. I do not practice or accomplish what I wish, but I do the very thing that I loathe [[a]which my moral instinct condemns].

    Romans 5:1

Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

    Romans 5:9

Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.

Now, We are made righteous, however, we still have a nature that has to be continually brought into subjection of the Lord.

We have to be very careful, if we think we cannot sin or have no sin we make God a liar. this is unacceptable. We can and do sin and we are to repent, even if we see a brother

Sinning we are to restore them taking heed ourselves lest we fall into the same snare.

I fully believe I am made righteous to God. I however also understand it is a daily walk and I will make mistakes, If any man thinks he stands let him take heed lest he fall.

God is merciful and if we turn to Him He will forgive us, but it is sin itself to say we do not have it. We are in a natural fallen state, that is our nature, that is our heart, the heart of man is desperately wicked, Only the Lord knows it.

There is a reason Paul says to work  out our own salvation with fear and trembling. It is a very terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God but it is a worse thing to not be there. We are not perfect, therefore we are not sinless, we are covered and accepted because of the one who is sinless. Jesus Christ the Lord, blessed be forever, amen.

So though we are made righteous and alive to God it is up to us to walk it out and be quick to repent because sin is sin is sin is sin. Not one is without, no not one.

If this was the case friends we would not have the clear evidence of those standing before Jesus In Matt 7 and Matt 25. We must be very careful to not walk in deception, we all sin and we all have to confess that sin and be cleansed. It is wrong to say we are no longer sinners, we can and do sin. redeemed, yes, sin still separates us and it certainly allows place to the enemy.

God bless you as you continue to seek Him

  12. Hey Kan,

    God bless you.

You are correct, it is really a deceptive thing, it is like hansel and gretel the story, they children are led by their desires only to be found in a trap. I can't believe I just used that :D

God bless you as you continue to seek Him

  13.

Something bad happened in my life.  I was in a car crash and was unhurt.  Then I spent the evening on suicide watch.  While having nothing to do for 24 hours I reflected on miracles that I had been wanting to see.  My wife is a miracle.  Now I pray for just one more.  I had really drifted from the faith, but now I'm convinced that God is indeed good.

    God is good!

If God is For us who can be against us?

    PTL!

    Fixed that for you :)

Amen brother welcome home, don't be afraid to reach out, we are all in this together.

    God bless you

    -Will

  14. You are referring to guided meditation and the like, it seems which is an occult practice

See it and call it into existence. It is really a terrible thing.

Firstly, though My sister is correct prophets were called seers before prophets, this is not applicable in this case.

You ask if we can show in scripture where it is wrong. O.k.

Guided meditation, visualizations are an attempt to reach a state of concsiounsess called the God or Christ consiciousness.

, Practiced in the buddhist religion and even sadly are taught by those claiming christ, guided visions.  These all most certainly are evil.

It is something practiced by mediums, spiritists etc. Used in visual wellness  and other things. STAY AWAY! Flirting with these things will only serve you terribly.

Even buddhists believe in hell, there are ancient images in the buddhist temple in sri lanka etremely vivid and tortuous.

    1 Samuel 15:23Amplified Bible (AMP)

23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim (household good luck images). Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.

    Leviticus 19:26Amplified Bible (AMP)

26 You shall not eat anything with the blood; neither shall you use magic, omens, or witchcraft [or predict events by horoscope or signs and lucky days].

And I will cut off witchcraftand sorceries from your hand, and you shall have no more soothsayers.

Such things are terrible. They ensure you will be destroyed not saved. We are not given to the pursuit of a thing but rather the God who made all things. We cannot become God who speaks things into existence and performs it Himself but we can experience and know Him in a personal and real way.

Young lady I highly advise you stay away from these things. It is by all accounts witchcraft. People don't understand that the mind is a very curious thing and manipulating yours or others in an attempt to reach this consciousness is 100% in error. Saying it out loud and constantly visualizing things is not at all what we are supposed to do or seek after Peace comes from God. What these people and I suspect you have experienced is a spirit.
To meditate means to think. It is what visualization is to meditate on something until it becomes vivid and reach a level it can come to pass. That is nothing but witchcraft

The spirit of witchcraft has no claim to any christian because of the power of the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ.

I highly advise you get out and stay out of these kinds of things. I saw your thread about peace. Peace for you comes only from God not in bad stuff.
I would suggest that you pray to God to deliver your sadness and frustration. Surround yourself with Christian people who will help you to grow and learn. If it is a spirit that bothers you I rebuke it in Jesus name. It has no right to you. If you have a disability it is best to see a doctor and see if something can't be reached. That doesn't take your faith away. Many people have to have some help. Unless God completely sets you free, it is wisdom to see a dr. A counsellor is probably not going to be the answer. A dr could help, in the meantime Just pray, if you find it hard to achieve the peace you desire, you are not alone. I too have had these struggles. I think actually most everyone has and does.

  15. John 16:2Amplified Bible (AMP)

They will put you out of (expel you from) the synagogues; but an hour is coming when whoever kills you will think and claim that he has offered service to God.

God bless the lives of those falling , we pray for the ones who are persecuting us Lord, we bless them and ask you to somehow intervene in their lives and allow them to know you alone are God. Oh father please protect your people their blood cries out to you. Please oh God intervene and bless these ones who seem so bent on killing us.

In The name of Jesus Christ we pray for your will to be done and the enemy to be scattered

  16. 2 Corinthians 5:21Amplified Bible (AMP) 21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [[a]endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]

    Amen.

  17. Father we ask in agreement that you touch Gary and the doctors. We ask you oh Lord for total health for him and for wisdom to be granted to the doctors who will see him.

Please Lord intervene in his life and let him stand as a testimony of the mercy of God.

We trust you will be pleased to answer this and i thank you for the opportunity to join in agreement for him.

    In Jesus name.

  18. Augustine,

Why is it that you have this issue with Jesus? Do you not realize you are operating in an antichrist spirit? I suspect you do , this is a game to you.

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, The other thread was locked and this one pops up. Why is it that you continue to demean the one true God and bring him down to some silly intellectual level? You are completely and totally in error yet you continue to try to convince those of His fold He is not who He says he is.

God have mercy on your soul because I assure you, what you are doing is not only blasphemous, it is downright traitor ish. Are you really going to stand before Jesus Christ and say to Him, wait, what am I doing here, You aren't God. JESUS CHRIST IS THE LORD God in the flesh, Immanuel. Almighty God, Everlasting Father His kingdom knows no end He is Messiah and He is everything, He is the creator of all things. Stop Blaspheming His name. Before Abraham was I AM . Jesus is GOD make no mistake

You WILL Give an account for it, and you better hope your silliness doesn't take one away from His fold , because continually insinuating Jesus is not God, Is only going to serve to destroy you. Wake up and repent for this wickedness

    -Will
