  1. Hi Shilo, o.k. thank you. I still am not sure how there is a distinction, it seems very confusing. but I appreciate your explaining God bless you -Will
  2. Hi, You have confused me more. Thanks anyhow. I think the point that you say wild branches are grafted in. You seem to be missing or at least it seems they are grafted in to the original and natural tree, they become part of it, therefore though they once were wild now they are joined and produce based on the connection to the tree. Who is Jesus , It does in fact say we are jews you are looking at scripture pointed out and saying it doesn't say that. That is very confusing in itself Thanks for sharing your thoughts. -Will
  3. Thanks hmbld. I really would hate to think I have believed wrong but I sure don't want to so I ask -Will
  4. Hi, I am a bit confused, maybe you can help me. I thought Romans was being addressed to the saints? In the passage of Romans it definitely does say we are circumcised of the heart, we are grafted in but we are grafted in to the Lord, who is a jew. So how can we not be jews? I know this is a dispute over the law but it clearly does say we gentiles do becomes jews and I have always believed that. I do not practice Jewish customs but I still identify with them because Jesus is the King of the Jews. Can you please tell me how this is wrong because even when I read your responses so far it seems confusing what you are saying. Thanks a lot -Will
  5. This is a beautiful response. Well said. -Will
  6. I have a bit of a different perspective. We have a free will but God knows every thought, action and decision, so even though we are making choices, we make them according to what is already known by God. Jesus chose us not the other way around, only God knows why He chose me.He leads us to even experience repentance. My free will is there, I can by food or not, have a bath or not etc. but when it comes to the plan of God He is not shocked because He knows everything. That to me is awe inspiring. Every person, every thought, every action, every hair. WOW. praise God forever. -Will
  7. Yes Xy the scripture is true and blessed. Amen. But people process differently. We should be able to agree on all of it after all it is the word of the living God and not just a book. Thanks for the reminder. God bless you as you continue to seek Him -Will
  8. I think being in this world ..... Even as christians we can't seem to agree on our own Bible. Which is the literal word of God. I long to go from here. I long to see my Jesus. I long for His love and rest. Sadly I have much work to do before I will have that. The world is so beautiful , waterfalls, growing grass, trees it is gorgeous, but the beauty is shaded by the evil. God in His wisdom chose each of us. I long for the day we rise as those people together. Until then, there is much to be done, we walk in the world as strangers with a mighty sword the word of God, people are murdered daily for this belief. Because it is the only truth there is.. God bless your people and come quickly Lord Jesus I pray. Things are going to get much more worse Help us to endure and declare your word in power and boldness. God gives me strength and He gives me what I need but listening to Him perhaps would change the way we see. Just my thoughts... -Will
  9. Hello Butero, God bless you. You make the mistake many do in thinking it is not for the brethren, the truth could not be in us if we were not saved already. Just something to think about. You said" We do sometimes sin without meaning to. I also believe those sins are under the blood covering, and if it were not so, hardly anyone would be saved." So that is where I got that. You may believe what you will, I have no interest in changing your mind, I guess you won't really know until you stand before Jesus. Enjoy your day -Will
  10. it does not make us a better or worse Christian if we don't ask for a blessing...God knows what is in our heart Thanks Sis, I agree with you
  11. Good Morning Butero, God bless you. I don't ascribe to any teaching in particular. You are drawing truths from the word but perhaps overlooking the ones that are also just as important. In your last comment you mention 1 john. In 1 john 1:9 it says If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10:if we say we have no sin we make God a liar and the truth is not in us. O.k so if we can make God a liar by saying we are no longer sinners, we simply don't know the truth. Sin is sin, sin unconfessed is not redeemed, that is an error in thinking sir. Sin is not covered up like people try to do, in fact if you are living bound in pornography as an example God may just send someone with a revelation of that and call you to repent. The reality of God is much different than what fits in our neat little boxes. Know what I mean? The enemy has asked for us by name and he knows every weakness we have. I certainly don't believe it is ok to sin, I certainly don't believe we have no choice. I do however acknowledge that I myself sin, yet I walk daily and pray constantly, sometimes things irk me, sometimes I worry, we can't simply say well if we make a mistake or commit a sin we are covered. No that is not accurate. Sin will undoubtedly separate us. We are sinners, redeemed by Jesus, called to walk worthy of that calling. Faithfully and reliantly upon Him and Him alone, but we do sin. I am going to show you something maybe you have missed. Paul is speaking present tense, having already a new nature. Romans 7:15- 15 For I do not understand my own actions [i am baffled, bewildered]. I do not practice or accomplish what I wish, but I do the very thing that I loathe [[a]which my moral instinct condemns]. 16 Now if I do [habitually] what is contrary to my desire, [that means that] I acknowledge and agree that the Law is good (morally excellent) and that I take sides with it. 17 However, it is no longer I who do the deed, but the sin [principle] which is at home in me and has possession of me. 18 For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot perform it. [i have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.] 19 For I fail to practice the good deeds I desire to do, but the evil deeds that I do not desire to do are what I am [ever] doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not desire to do, it is no longer I doing it [it is not myself that acts], but the sin [principle] which dwells within me [[b]fixed and operating in my soul]. 21 So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands. 22 For I endorse and delight in the Law of God in my inmost self [with my new nature]. 23 But I discern in my bodily members [[c]in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [[d]in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh]. 24 O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and deliver me from [the shackles of] this body of death? 25 O thank God! [He will!] through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. The flesh is constantly warring with the Spirit my brother. It seems that you are saying if we do sin it is no big deal, I don't understand this. It is something we indeed must deal with. It dwells within us. we must overcome it. God bless you as you continue to seek Him. -Will
  12. Romans 7:15Amplified Bible (AMP) 15 For I do not understand my own actions [i am baffled, bewildered]. I do not practice or accomplish what I wish, but I do the very thing that I loathe [[a]which my moral instinct condemns]. Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Romans 5:9 Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God. Now, We are made righteous, however, we still have a nature that has to be continually brought into subjection of the Lord. We have to be very careful, if we think we cannot sin or have no sin we make God a liar. this is unacceptable. We can and do sin and we are to repent, even if we see a brother Sinning we are to restore them taking heed ourselves lest we fall into the same snare. I fully believe I am made righteous to God. I however also understand it is a daily walk and I will make mistakes, If any man thinks he stands let him take heed lest he fall. God is merciful and if we turn to Him He will forgive us, but it is sin itself to say we do not have it. We are in a natural fallen state, that is our nature, that is our heart, the heart of man is desperately wicked, Only the Lord knows it. There is a reason Paul says to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. It is a very terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God but it is a worse thing to not be there. We are not perfect, therefore we are not sinless, we are covered and accepted because of the one who is sinless. Jesus Christ the Lord, blessed be forever, amen. So though we are made righteous and alive to God it is up to us to walk it out and be quick to repent because sin is sin is sin is sin. Not one is without, no not one. If this was the case friends we would not have the clear evidence of those standing before Jesus In Matt 7 and Matt 25. We must be very careful to not walk in deception, we all sin and we all have to confess that sin and be cleansed. It is wrong to say we are no longer sinners, we can and do sin. redeemed, yes, sin still separates us and it certainly allows place to the enemy. God bless you as you continue to seek Him -Will
  13. I do not always pray over my food. I am thankful I have it but sometimes I forget to do so. I have a grateful heart and thank God and most of the time I do pray over the food because God is our source. But, I do forget sometimes Romans 14(AMP) 5 One man esteems one day as better than another, while another man esteems all days alike [sacred]. Let everyone be fully convinced (satisfied) in his own mind. 6 He who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. He also who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; while he who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. 14. Hey Kan, God bless you. You are correct, it is really a deceptive thing, it is like hansel and gretel the story, they children are led by their desires only to be found in a trap. I can't believe I just used that God bless you as you continue to seek Him -Will
