  1. @farouk I copy and paste the verses above from the KJV, and they do not seem to comunicate what you posted. Wondering why sometimes some people they post the scripture reference and their comments but they do not post the scriptures and the bible version. Any way your comments are not found in the scripture reference in your post. * 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. * John 1:14 KJVAnd the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
  2. That he was born it matters, and that he is born in our hearts within the meaning that when someone believes in him he is partaking of his Spirit. He is born to him, born from above. Through him we are also the children of the Heavenly Father, that what it matters. As Paul put the emphasis that he is also born in the hearts of the Gentiles...Paul said what a mystery. A mystery indeed to the Jews when they look from the point of view from the old Covenant but not a mystery to those who look at the Gentiles through the Atonic sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
  3. The disciples were not given the mandate to follow and to teach the people to follow the book of Leviticus. That mandate was given to Moses and only for the Israelites.
  4. This is not what the disciples of Jesus Christ teach. Jesus did not give them this comandment to preach in Jerusalem and Judea and to the ends of the world to keep the commandments. The mandate to the disciples was about the good news about Jesus Christ and it was to the people who were keeping the commandments to the people in Jerusalem and Judea. And to the Gentiles who were not keeping the commandments in Leviticus also to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And to Jews who kept the commandments it was preached that without faith in Jesus Christ they will perish. They will die in their sins. The obedience to the Leviticus will not give them the eternal life with God. Only the obedience in the Gospel of Jesus Christ gives the eternal life, faith in Jesus Christ.
  5. The fact remains that the people in those cultures mentioned by Bro Tan have incorporated some of their pre-Christian customs in the celebrations of Christmas but they still celebrate Jesus Christ birth on Christmas day that they understand but they like to bring in some of their cultural colors and traditions in the days before Christmas day. That's for them but they do not represent the believers of Jesus Christ in other cultures of how they celebrate Christmas or their cultural customs on the days aproching Christmas day. And according to bro Tan those customs may be more prevalent in rular areas or in the making of movies but it cannot be with the people living in the cities or high rise buildings. In the movies yes, if not why have a movie of how people celebrate Christmas. I give him an A÷ for saying (if that's what he wanted also to say) that the disciples of Jesus Christ will never celebrate Christmas in this way or endorse those customs as the church customs. In any way it is apparent that those are not the directions from the Bishops but the en mass customs of some people and their cultures. Through the time people revisited some of those customs and have redefine them, prune out some of them and gave a new meaning to a lot of things to remind the believers something about our faith in Jesus Christ.
  6. I can't agree with you, because you are talking about the beliefs of the English and Scots and Irish and you forget that the Gospel started from the areas around the minor Asian and spread to Cyprus and Crete and Macedonian are Egypt and Ethiopia and Greece and then Rome and Italy and not yet France and not yet England and the Scots and the Irish and the Islandic people. While Europe was full with the Gospel the English and Scott's and Irish at the least some of them were in deep darkness. In a very deep darkness because their religion was like that. You forget that the Gospel at first was preached to Greeks in manor Asia and to the Jews through out Greece and Manor Asia.
  7. These claims are not truth to the rest of the Christian community but also to people who are from those places and they see things according to their pre-Christian culture. Those people had no idea how the Christians were commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ their Savior to show that he was really a man born from a woman and that he really died on the Cross. They began to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ having in mind his death on the Cross and the proposed for it. The instituted holidays for them selves to celebrate because they were among other things a teaching tool about what they believed. The Jewish New Year started about that time and they follow up to celebrate the Christian New year about that time to meet the Jewish passover together with the Christian celebrations of the death of Jesus Christ on the time right after the last supper of the Jewish passover of Jesus Christ together with his disciples. Celebrating the time when death passover the houses who had on their doors post the marks with the blood of the Slain Lamb according to the instructions God gave to Moses. Later on they were adds on to the Christmas celebration according to signify the high lights of our faith. As in the Psalms we read that the righteous man is like a tree by the river side where the birds seek refuse from the weather elements and gather to the healthy branches and under the rich shadow of the tree...which it has an array of Christian meanings. And it is about Jesus who all kinds of birds from all nations gather to his comforting shadow and protection from the elements of the world...just as Psalm one describes the righteous man the believer also like a tree being nourish by the living water of Jesus Christ and the birds of the world gather around to hear the beautiful words of the believers, people who are mature in the faith and adorned with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their upright countenance reflecting the character of Jesus Christ. And there is more, as we are the truth light of the world as we reflect the light of Jesus Christ...we decorate the tree with beautiful things to show that a believer should be like the tree adorned with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gift of eternal life and to preach the Gospel and to invite others to believe in Jesus Christ who died for the forgiveness of our sins and received the gift of the Eternal Life with God when they believe that Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of their sins We can make Christmas beautiful and a good teaching message to both those who have believed and to those who would believe.
  8. The bottom line is that this network is a discussion and it is good to raised questions and we have to discuss them without addressing the person but only the issue at hand. We must discuss what is put forwards with relevance to our faith and without prejudice to the one who is asking the question. Paul commented on that by saying that all matters regarding our faith should be discussed and do not forbid and to hold back our righteous indignation that can impaired our judgment, and not let us see beyond our own point of view. This issue is not a salvation issue and we ought to not to make it one. Because it is about the customs of believers in Jesus Christ, about people who are already saved by the blood of the Slain Lamb of God who is Jesus Christ.
  9. In the book of Hebrews the believers in Jesus Christ were living under the strict rules of the Sinai Covenant in City and villages where everyone was keeping the religious Calendar given to them under the Sinai Covenant. And their was not religious freedom at that time and everyone who lived in their cities had to abide by the same rules regarding the keeping of the Sabath and regarding visiting the Temple and if they did not keep the Sabath or abide by their cleansing rituals they were Judge by the religious authorities and by their own families who were abiding to the rules of the Sinai Covenant. The believers in Jesus Christ they had to follow the rules of the Coverning religious authorities if not they were accountable to them and also to their Jewish families. The were not given the choice. They were compelled to keep the Sabath and to abide by the cleansing rules and the rules for visiting the Temple but you are not in their situations why then do you want to live like you are a Jew and you are in their similar situations. Compelled to abide by the religious rules of your family and your community like the Hebrews believers were. Are you married to a Jewish wife?
  10. This man who was from God, God has glorify in the Heavens and he has given to him all his Theotis and all Power and Dominion in Heaven and on Earth and in all things under the earth and Heaven it's his, His Inheritance from God the Father and not only for him as not to be lonely but also he made his children, everyone who believes in him co-heir of Heaven together with him. The glorious Jesus Christ who opened the way to Heaven for humanity for everyone who believes in him by dieing on the Cross for the forgiveness of the sins of the whole world. So we know our what is our Inheritance after our physical death when we shed off this earthly tabernacle, it is with Jesus Christ to our Heavenly Inheritance in his name. In the name of the Slain Lamb of God who died for the Atonement of our sins. And now is in Heaven and God made him Lord and the Judge of all people of the world. Believers in Jesus Christ do not be afraid that time Jesus will welcome you to your Heavenly Inheritance which is waiting for you and your family.
  11. Paul did not write letters to Hebrews(?). Paul wrote letters to the churches he established. He wrote letters address to a specific church he help to establish.
  12. @Mr. M. Thank you for posting scriptures relevant to the New Testament and for the context. God bless.
  13. They were not in the Heavenly Father they were in Abraham "our Father is Abraham" at first through the Covenant of Cirumcision and later on through the Sinai Covenant.
  14. This is a lot better and it is beautiful the bible reference together with the scripture and the version is important but not always not when words are not substituted or when only the paraphrase will do and not the original. There it did not say complete or another word it is said "perfect" and not alone but perfect as your Heavenly Father who is perfect. The context it is important because it was said to people who were told to be perfect according to the provisions in the Law. And Jesus took them away from it and to something else which they did not have...and it could not be possible through to what they were having. Self perfection or perfection in the Law of Moses did not give the right to anyone to call the Father in Heaven "our or my Heavenly Father" and if they do anyway the Heavenly Father will say that you can say it as many times as you want but still I am not your Father in heaven.
  15. In any case thank you for your response. I will never judge anyone for what they do it is their business but when they expressly or suggestive judge others for not doing what they do then it becomes my business if I want to. Very often others are ahead of me because I am the turtle kind in responding because I reply from an IPhone. It's good to hear from you, your messages are full of encouraging words and full of the message of grace and I was wondering but now you have settled this matter because there others who quickly follow up to what is posted. I have come to understand that no matter what someone posts he will always have some followers. And not because they agree but because they both disagree with the same person but not always. The Catholics are not accepting the other believers in Jesus Christ because they do not want to loose their sheep to them and vise versa. And they talk a lot about themselves their doctrine but they do not want to talk that they all have their sins forgiven in the same way by believing in Jesus Christ. So when I observe them celebrate the Christian Holydays I join with them and there is not about us and why yes and or not but it is about the world to observe what we celebrate and ask questions. It's about others also when the Christmas Carrolls fill their homes during the news they do not run to close the TV, some they may do...but then they know the reason as to why and their children wondering as to why because they liked the music. It adds up at the end somehow. A world without Chrismas it is impossible because Jesus Christ was indeed born. The Savior had to be born and that it can never change. Amongst many other things and the commercial frenzy and the parties people always think about Christmas and the celebration is about the birth of Jesus Christ, they can hear it from others. They talk about one another religious celebrations to keep in line with the constitution. I have to remind my wife who has a lot of Catholic relatives that their sins are also forgiven in Jesus Christ and to stop worrying about them. Jesus knows that they believe in him and this is what matters and in earth many other things matter. But to Jesus Christ above all it matters that they believe in him. They believe that Jesus Christ died and raised from the dead and was ascended into Heaven unto the Heavenly Father.
  16. You are not quoting Jesus. You cannot show scripture from the Bible to prove that those are the words of Jesus.
  17. I do not understand why the Sabbath of the children of the Sinai Covenant. This Specific Sabbath was given only to the children of Jacob. It excluded the other children of Abraham and the other Son of Issac. Why you? Are you from the inclusive children of Jacob who were present at the time the Sinai Covenant was given in the dessert and they agreed to it for them and their children's children. If you lived that time, would you celebrate the Sabbath?
  18. From your posting you are describing a repeated thing that is happening during your sleep. In a dream. Only in your dream and never while you are awake, because as soon as you are waking up everything is gone. Something that occurs during your sleep. Is it that perhaps your self is letting you know what kind of fears you are fostering in your heart. Like projecting to you the fear that is troubling your mind or your self. Your own self is letting you know about that and you need to stop believing that what you are dreaming it is possible to happen to you, even though it is possible to happen to experience pain in your heart and associate that pain as the work of occult spirits. You must have heard or read something that this is possible to happen in the occult and for someone to feel pain in his heart and associate that as the way you describe it. Or you may believe that someone may doing this to you. Knowing that someone who is in the occult can do that to someone else and cause him to have this reoccurring nightmare. Some people take revenge on others by resorting to occult practices.
  19. It's a strange think that no one was ever raised from the dead who died from a violent death, but only Jesus Christ. And he is the only man God the Heavenly Father raised from the dead by judging him in a similar fashion when God Judge Adam. And it is also worthy to notice that the man who led humanity to the underworld was a righteous man who suffered a violent death from his brother, Abel the Son of the fallen Adam the Father of death. And the man to lead humanity to the Heavenly was also a righteous man and the only man with the Life of God who also suffered a violent death in the hands of his brothers. That includes that he was not only in righteousness towards God and was also in his Life. As opposed to Abel who was a righteous man towards God but was in the Life of Adam. He was the Son of Adam after the disobedience of Eve. Adam disobeyed God to be together with Eve and led mankind into the captivity of the Devil after his death. Reminding of the second Adam who obey God in everything even to his death on the Cross so he can open the way to the Heavenly Inheritance when God also judge him and rewarded him the Heavens as his Inheritance and for everyone who believes in him and is put under the blood of his sacrifice. Who are the children of the blood of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the blood that gives Life. The life is in the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ had to die to be able to give life to every man whose sins are forgiving in the blood of his sacrifice and his death on the Cross. Death stopped when he met the man working the vine press and his clothes were drenched in the blood of his sacrifice.
  20. Check the scriptures it does not say "wrath". It says "anger", and anger is not the same. We do not have the liberty to use "wrath" instant of "anger"all the time and it depends on the context to know if anger is justified or not. This is why we are instructed to be careful not to act or not to feed our anger as we do not know if it is justified or not and in any situation not to run and act on it. And say things or do things to relieve our selves from it for many reasons even to find out were wrong later on. Paul experienced that with the stoning of Stephen and show what anger does to people killing an innocent man...this is why Paul said what we owe to one another is love..in the Lord. To where we find that our righteous indignation is taking over to try to replace it with love. Love one another even in those moments of strong feelings even in the name of truth if we so believe at that moment. We have to renew our selves we have to learn not to quickly ignite and if we do to look for some water to cool us down first and foremost. God bless.
  21. It would be nice to post the whole scripture and the version and to check the original version. You want to say something for discussion no one can tell you no. Another way it is to ask, what does this verse intents to tell us. And then see if it says the same things we were thinking.
  22. Are you sure that what Luke 16:10 says? Why you are not posting the Luke 16:10 bible reference including the bible version and include the context? Is it that per adventure it does not justifies the comments in your post and from a to z. Luke 16:10 is part of Jesus parable about the stewards. It has nothing to do with the comments in your post attempting to make everyone to believe that they are sinners and they will always be sinners..making people feel weak, and shameful and unworthy and feel like worms. This is opposite to what Jesus said and continues to say. Jesus said the parable of the lost sheep and he stretched that the lost sheep was his always 99÷1=100. And he established the same thing with the parable of the lost SON. His SON lost in the world, but his son cover in filthy clothes. Jesus left the 99 and he went to his lost sheep in the unfriendly land ruled by the devils in the Cemetery. That sheep was his and he free it from the devils and the sheep free from the devils was sitting and listening to the word of God. Another time Jesus left the 99 and he went to the healing pool on the Sabath Day the day the Angel never descended to touch the water to make it a healing water when the first person who touch it got the healing. Jesus showed up on the Sabath Day, he went looking for the lost sheep on the Sabath Day, this is Jesus Christ works 24/7/365/forever. The New has come, the old is out. He works for all people, all are inclusive. We should remember the key word that all are included to where and how Jesus Christ finds them. It is about Jesus Christ and them and how the brother earlier said that the Lord said the samething to him about his wife. He said she is your wife but the matter is between her and me. He wanted to tell him that his wife does not share his anger. She has not portion in his anger. Jesus said something to him very deep because he did not stop there he asked him to take care of her. The matter was between Jesus and her but also between him and her...remember a friend who got sick and pray and pray to be healed and he got worse and worse and he finally went to the hospital. The doctor said you got here just in time and it was about something else the doctors found that almost would haveq cause his death. Luke 16;10 KJV. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Ephesians 4:26-27 KJV 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil.
  23. We also need to be reminded (I did not say anything about the beautiful words in your post) (but the scripture also said: that no weapon that it is formed against us will prosper and "that God will provide the black Smith to form a weapon for our defense). That includes the black Smith God provides to form the weapons for our defense are of various kinds and not just the same one in all deferent situations. Yes we believe that Jesus is all we need but he has a deferent weapon for each deferent situation. God has not forbid mankind to shout relief outside Jesus Christ and this is his love that the people find relief in any way possible and stay alive for many reasons. But we also need to be reminded that we are subjected to psycotic conditions in our mind and our selfs and it would be a grave error if we ignore that and we polarized our selves. They are numerous psychotic conditions people shout relief from and for that reason God has to provide deferent weapons for each one. There are spiritual and shycotic forces that can take over any one whether a believer or an unbeliever. We have both believers and unbelievers who take their lives. Or commit crimes of passion. The hearts of both believers and unbelievers can be broken. Even with the death of a loved one. Or a big disappointment or a let down in our situations or unjust affliction.
