  1. But we have not discussed the issues I raised with the post about the plethora of that set of scripture from all over the place which I asked to discuss because you have not used them for their meant purpose.
  2. There see for yourself that I said Jesus is the light of the world and the darkness was symbolic for three hours for the three days the light of the world was not in the world. The world for the first time without the light of the world because for those three days was in the place of the dead. The disciple who wrote that, he wrote that as a proof that Jesus Christ was the light of the world, that the Leaders had killed the one who was the light of the world, the one they worship and celebrated on the feast of the Lights.
  3. This is the post. When you posted that like I had said anything against the light of the world. Which I never did. (Open your Bible and they all point to Jesus, the Light of the world.)
  4. If you want to discuss it, just say what is this all about, it want take you more than one minute.
  5. What about the rainbow? And the three hours darkness?
  6. To rest one issue you posted about Jesus being the light of the world as if I had said something contrary, this is why, you should be careful and I did not say anything about the scriptures but about the way you are using them. And about the meaning you are giving them and I said with my posting that we need to look at them, to discuss them.
  7. On the other hand when anyone hears the Gospel and did not believe at first, he is not condemned only he is in the valley of decision with the denial and he is still invited to believe in Jesus Christ as long as he is alive. If he dies with denial while in the valley of decision then he will be Judged and be condemned, then he will know that he is condemned. When Jesus Christ says you are condemned. They appear before Jesus Christ having refused to have their sins forgiven by the blood of Jesus Christ, not being under the blood of Jesus Christ with the refusal whether good people or not so good people. People without the blood having died in the valley of decision.
  8. This applies before they are preached the Gospel. When they are preached the Gospel and believe then he is in Jesus Christ. Under the blood of Jesus Christ.
  9. @Mr. M Something to make clear why did you post "Jesus the Light of the world ", this is what I am saying repeatedly that after the Cross the Jew needs the Light of the world and the Gentile also needs the light of the world.
  10. I take issue with the mixture of the scriptures like there is no distinction between them. There are people and always were and always will be who they are not doing anything wrong and they are using that to deny faith in Jesus Christ on the principle of some of the scriptures you have posted. Because of their good deeds and upright living they believe that they are accepted by God without Jesus Christ. Even using some of those scriptures to make their case.
  11. That's what exactly the Holy Spirit said to Peter. And this is after the Cross. Beginning with the Cross there is no Jew-in his place there is a man who needs to hear the Gospel. And beginning with the Cross there is no Gentile-in his place there is a man who needs to hear the Gospel. A Jew and a Gentile one besides the other=one man to whom Jesus sent his disciples to preach forgiveness of sins in the same way, to have their sins forgiven in exactly the same way. This is the new man on earth after the Cross of Jesus Christ. A man without Jesus Christ. And the Gospel needs to be preach to him.
  12. That's very strange, extremely strange. What do you mean " Just the one new man". Peter the disciples of Jesus disagree with that and so do I.
  13. @Ghostdog Your post had two parts that could be considered. The first one was about hearing God's voice and the later part that we hear the Holy Spirit who speaks on his behalf. I was expecting something relevant to us from the New Testament. I read the scripture from Deu. and that happened in the Old Testament when the Israelites heard God talking to them in the dessert from Mount Sinai when it was in flames with Moses at that time. When they enter in the Covenant of Sinai with them. Thank you for the scripture that was interesting and at that time God spoke to them. They were gathered all of them together when God spoke to them. There is nothing about the Holy Spirit.
  14. How can we understand that by looking into some Scripture? Someone may be wondering why there is no reference to some book in the bible or to someone who said something about that or just post the scripture or recolle it by memory, even that will do. So this is the question. Is there a scripture from a reputable sourse, emphasizing from a reputable sourse. Even if it is not but it is in the bible that will do and it will be considered. All this instead of saying; are you sure you are right? Because obviously there are many people who read the bible and are wondering where did you read that, where in the bible and you could be right.
  15. @Marathoner We helped Jesus, someone of us long time ago, to carry his Cross and He is helping us to carry our Cross. Without making things complicated, we are not alone, He will show up or He will sent some people to show up sooner or later and help us carry our Cross. Or our Cross could have been heavier but it is not because He is there helping us but we cannot see it as it is happening. Only later on after the fact when we look back and when our eyes open and when things are revealed to us.
  16. It kind of makes one think. But considering the context when earlier he said; that when he was very young talking about his mother. Perhaps a comma before the she could have made it easier to understand that he is talking about his mother. Definitely It's about his mother.
  17. If someone says God revealed this to Peter, this is correct if we take into account that it was the will of God that the Holy Spirit to revealed this to Peter. To revealed is not the same as to just tell that to Peter and Peter repeats that as the Holy Spirit said that to me so it must be truth. As when the Archangel Gabriel said that and that gredibility and rialiability should certainly be truth. If Peter has said something like that or Jesus at that time on a word from the gredibility from the Holy Spirit we will need to know how Peter knew it was the Holy Spirit that said that to him and Peter would have been able to answer that question. And do that he would have to make the distinction that it was the Holy Spirit and not Jesus who was standing before him at that specific time before the Cross as it was at that time before the Cross. Before Jesus death on the Cross. As things were at that time and they change after the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross. But in this context Peter said something that he was believing with a strong conviction and without any doubt, as if he had come to understand something which had taken roots in him. Here is Jesus who said to Peter that it is the Holy Spirit who has REVEALED this to you. Jesus made the distinction at that time that it was the Holy Spirit who worked in the heart of Peter to help Peter understand this and was not Him and was not the Heavenly Father. Because the Heavenly Father was at work with Jesus only. Only Jesus was the Son of God at that time the Son of the Heavenly Father. Many times the Heavenly Father had said that Jesus was his only Son even when John the Baptist was standing next to Jesus at the Jordan River. That's before the Cross. Imidiatly after the resurrection Jesus said to Peter "I am going to show my self to my God and your God. We need to understand the distinctions Jesus is making before we make statements about him and the Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit for us the Holy Spirit that is working in us the Holy Spirit of the Day of Pentecost. Which work in the believers of Jesus Christ for the first time after the Cross and what Jesus said about that.
  18. This is also for us because we are given to live in the New Testament and we need to understand those like the disciples who lived first in the Old Testament as mature men and then they experience the transition between the Old and the New Covenant. If you pay critical attention to their writings you will come to understand that they addressed issues to the Jewish people who were in the Old and have now believe in Jesus Christ and issues regarding the ethnic people (the Gentiles who have believed) and the issues between those believing groups and their writings are not specific to the next generation directly to the children of believers. To the children of the Jews believers or to the children of the Gentiles believers. And this is why we need to know how it was under the old and the change that came with the new.
  19. When Jesus said to Peter; that the Holy Spirit has revealed that to you. He is making the distinction between the Holy Spirit and God.
  20. This post is very unique in that it inquires it seeks to understand (a Berrian kind of Spirit). I can see your question and how it is asked. In the scriptures in Luke 1: the words of the Archangel Gabriel who stands before God, that He makes the distinction between the Holy Spirit and the Most High and we are in the Old Testament.
  21. This is not a truth statement according to scriptures in Luke 1:, this is the scripture from Luke 1:34-35 that shows that the statement above is not truth and is contrary to what the Archangel Gabriel said to Mary in Luke 1:34-35 Luke 1:34-35. NIV 34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” 35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. ●> And one more thing: in verse 35 the Archangel Gabriel said; “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. It is not the same as you posted "Holy Spirit(God)" in away that it does not make the distinction between the Holy Spirit and the Most High. That's what the Archangel Gabriel said; the power of the Most High, which a reference to God. The Archangel Gabriel made the distinction between the Holy Spirit and The Most High as in many other scriptures the Most High God. ●> one more thing; the Archangel Gabriel said; So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. the Archangel Gabriel said that his flesh is only from his mother only because the Holy Spirit does not have human flesh. And said that her egg in her womb will be fertilize but not in the way you have put it using the word "impregnate". The Archangel Gabriel said; verse 35 bellow, do you want to argue with the Archangel Gabriel? 35. The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
  22. It means that he was not defiled by the Idol worship, not poluted by seeking the blessings of the Idols.
  23. They were forgiven. The Lord forgave them. Solomon himself did not worship the Idols he allowed his wives to follow in their religions and the Lord did not hold it against him on account to his promise to his father King David. They were not cut off from the Lord. David never worship the Idols. Mary was by the testimony of the Angel Gabriel found favor before God. That says something about her standing before the Lord. Abraham and the Israelites were set aside from the rest of the world. In life and after death. They were not Gentiles. God chosen Abraham because he was a righteous man and he gave him righteousness by faith in his promise so he remained in righteousness towards God no matter what. The Israelites were a Holy Nation to the Lord that time under the Covenant of Sinai. Under the Covenant of Cirumcision were under the righteousness of their Patriarch Abraham by oath. The Lord all the time preserved a raiment unto himself who they did not worship the Idols. Solomon did not worship the Idols.
