Paul teache us something that those in this affliction need more grace than anyone who has learn to walk in a better way. The church can judge him and they should not to encourage others and the family can judge him to. To also scare the other children and the community also has to do that because they did not die for the forgiveness of his sins and they did not pay the price for his sins or punished for his sins but the one who did will also get to judge him while he lives in the body for the best way to help him come around. And the Devil also wants a bite of him. And Jesus cannot be blamed for not doing something for his afflictions when they told Jim all is possible with God. Jesus love and God's love towards us is while we were in our sins Jesus Christ died for us. No one pray for him to die. To the contrary they tried to stopped him. But he needed to go to the next level from having the life of God to be having the Eternal Life that it will remain eternal with God. This is it his testing finished with his death on the Cross. His testing lasted for three years after the Holy Spirit left Jesus in the dessert and his hunger came back and he overcame the first round and the Angels came to minister to him. His testing finished with his death on the Cross. Good for us he saved us while he is in the Eternal Life and that's our security. We sin but he remains Holy. And as he is so we are. Not in the flesh but in his forgiveness and in his grace to forgive us before we ask.

This question has to be answer that no man can saved himself. Or do something else besides what Jesus did. Jesus is saving the Spiritual Man. Jesus redeemed the Spiritual Man. He gives eternal life to the Spiritual Man. The flesh belongs to the earth. The question is the way the Gospels preach. Did someone died with faith in Jesus Christ in his heart.

The fruit of the flesh it does. And the big point is that in his letters Paul tries to correct the believers. And Jesus Christ he did the same to the churches who were the seven Golden lampstands. That's amazing. The ever going correction and everyone goes ashtray in his doctrinal beliefs. This is a fact. The disciples had to experience that also. Jesus kept them humble.

To all fairness to him he confirmed what I posted. That the monent when anyone who didn't believe before believes at that precise moment he is in Jesus Christ. He is in the Eternal Life of Jesus Christ. He has the eternal life. This is what he posted and your bold letters do not reflect that. Check it for your self.

Please do not misquote the brother to talk about something you think you understand. Jesus said I must die first. And be tested till the end. John the Baptist wanted what Jesus had and he did not have but Jesus could not give it to him because if he did then there was another way besides the Cross and Jesus said there is not another way I must be tested till the end and die in full obedience to the Father. The brother talked about the "Eternal Life " not who had the Life of God from the beginning. Please use John's words and not others without specific identification.

A look at Ezekiel 44:15-31 and Luke 5:1-6:49

The scriptures points that the Messiah as a Priest in the mode of Melchizedek and then He will be glorified as a King of the Heavenly Kingdom and the King of the Kings of the earth. -
You brought a lot, a long haul into what Jesus said to Mary. At first you follow what Jesus exactly said. That Lasarous the next time he will die it will be after the Cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ and this time when he die he will die as a believer of Jesus and in the Gift of Eternal Life. And what Jesus said it will apply to him as it will apply to everyone who dies believing in him. , and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest this thow. Make it simple. We do not need anyone to say anything to us because we have witness that all believers have experienced and will experienced the death of their body. From dust to dust. Jesus was the exception to that. And no one else who ever lived. You said it at the beginning in an earlier post and you argued about it. simple words. As we live, we live with the physical body. The Spiritual Man in his physical body. The time will come that for various reasons the physical self, our body cannot sustain life and will die on us. Then what we belong to the Lord before the death of our body and we continue to belong to the Lord without the physical. And we were all the time in his Life. Before our physical body quits on us and after when without the physical and now only the spiritual man. The real self, the eternal been without his earthly tabernacle. To repeat the words of Peter and Paul in their mature years. The man only in his Spiritual body. This is what Jesus said to his disciples you must wait for that time (for your earthly tabernacle to die first) and then you will follow me to Heaven. You must understand this for yourself. Why do you look forwards to something else. Jesus put the record straight. We are in Jesus Christ now while in the physical form and we are waiting to be free from the physical and be only in the spiritual and then our destini is to follow Jesus Chris in Heaven because this is where our inheritance is. in the Heavenly places we were positioned there while in the Physical and now without the physical the time has come to take our position in Heaven.
-
Let's discuss it because we both said the same thing in this post above in the most important issue which is that whoever believes in Jesus Christ is in his Eternal Life from that time forwards. Jesus is and will be in the Eternal Life forever and we are in him and we will also be in the Eternal Life forever. As Jesus is so we are. And Jesus said to his disciples when Peter said to him take us with you now. Jesus told him no that you must die first so as to get rid of your body,

Thank for this reminder. If you please make a comment in what we read in the part Jesus said "I never knew you". Is it not about who are not upright because of their iniquity which they hide or excuse it or justify it. And they want to be close to Jesus as the best sits in his banquet. And Jesus shows them the place for them is far from him in the last rows. Please do not equate the Kingdom of God or entering the kingdom of God with entering Heaven. Because Jesus in this example is judging their works. And we know that we enter Heaven on the principal of faith alone.

You have a lot of this one said this and this one said this in this place without touching the context or ignoring the context at hand to introduce something else. Why did you hide from the people what Paul said that align with what Peter said who was with Jesus Christ from the beginning. That the Lord showed me that the time has come to live this tabernacle and go to him. Paul in his mature years said the same thing and he added absent from the body you will find me with the Lord. Your comments do not align with this statement of both Paul and Peter who began with the words "THE LORD SHOW ME".

In this example Jesus is trying to bring to our attention something similar as James did in Luke 24:8 ESV “When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in a place of honor, lest someone more distinguished than you be invited by him. Just like in this example some disciples thought of them selves that they were close to Jesus because of the things that they did and they mention them to Jesus when Jesus is telling them that your place in spite of what you think about your self is far away from me inspite of the good things you do or you did in my name (here we give it to them because they said to Jesus in your name) Here also Jesus is letting the people know to his disciples and to the leaders of the people who had mixed feelings about him (and Jesus said those things knowing that He is the One whom God had appointed to Judge all the people of the world. Jesus here is judging his own people and because of the wrong things they were doing there place is far away from him because of their works of iniquity. They called him Lord and they did good things in his name. They are his own but because of their works of iniquity their place is far away from him. He is telling them some of the works they do are the works of darkness and He is calling them to repentance. If they want to be close to him, they need to repent first. In other words they are eligible to be part of the Royal Priesthood as believers in him BUT they are not till they repent and wash their clothes white clean. As the scripture says: the workers of iniquity and those who practice sinful lifestyles are out if the Gates of the Temple and are not allowed to enter in, only after they have repented and wash their robes clean white as snow. In reference to the Royal Priesthood. They are his people. They are in the Heavenly Jerusalem. All believers are in the Heavenly Jerusalem. Jesus calls His own to repentance.

This is more than apparently an erroneous statement because the faith is in our hearts and the believer does not need caracter witnesses and neither Jesus Christ does. And he does not need to confess it at all. And for the exercise when he said "praise the Lord" having Jesus in his mind it is a lot more than a confession. It is a confession with praise. Why reffering to John 3:16? Do you not accept the statement "that whosoever believes in him has eternal life. A believer does not to prove himself not even to Jesus because then it is by faith and works and not by faith alone. And I know that you believe that.
-
and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” ~ John 11:25-26 This is the second part of John 11:25-26. In this statement Jesus is addressing whoever believes in him after the Cross and his resurrection. Jesus is telling us that the people who believe in him after the Cross and his resurrection have received of his Life while yet lived. They are in him , they are the children of the Eternal Life. They are heirs together with him of his Heavenly Inheritance and they will always be alive to him. Their flesh will die one day but they will never die themselves, they will be always alive to Him for all eternity and after the flesh is gone they will be with him in their Heavenly Inheritance ALWAYS ALIVE TO HIM. Is this difficult to digest? Keep in mind that Jesus is referring to the Spiritual Man who lives in his physical body till this body of flesh, the earthly body cannot sustain life anymore and dies or dies before that from trauma or violence or from famine. Is it not glorious the Gospel of Jesus Christ our risen Lord? Or you want to look for the living ones among the dead.
-
In this Jesus is referring to whoever from the Jews whether righteous or sinners who believe in him before his death on the Cross and they died before his death and resurrection. Jesus said for them that even they died they shall live. And the question is how? Because they died believing in him and they died as his people and when He will meet them at the place of the dead when He also will die then He will give them of his life. Like it happened with the thief on the Cross.

He won't respond to your post. @Anne2 this what I pointed out. To include in the body of Christ Gentiles as they were it was unthinkable. This is why the Lord did it in a very dramatic way to surprise Peter and the elders who were there. The Lord did it without telling them what He was planning to do. That was not the first time Jesus had saved Gentiles. Did he not lower a sheet from Heaven and then he took it back in Heaven to be with him. Were not all those animals representing the Gentiles who were saved in his name before Cornelius and the crowd with him was saved? The emphasis of being uncircumcised is that they were not proselytize. As a result Peter and anyone else could preached the Gospel to Gentiles and invite them to believe as they were in line with what Jesus had instructed them from the beginning to go to all nations and preach the Gospel and whosoever believe will be saved. To baptized them and make disciples has to do with those who wanted and had the time and the calling for that. And they were called to sencere repentance. To make disciples because the Gospel will continue to be preached after them. Jesus gave them the warning that he was not coming as they believed that he was coming in their time. -

Hi @Anne2 I said hi because the poster is not following his own thread. In Acts chapter 10:38 Jesus is teaching Peter and the elders who were with him something that is against the core rules in the book of Leviticus and thus the Law. Peter and the elders learned something that it was set in place at the time Jesus Christ died on the Cross. The distinction between Jews and Gentiles was set aside with the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross. It was not revealed to them to Peter and the elders who were with him as the witness till that time but this time I will add that Jesus Christ revealed that also to Cornelius and all the Gentiles who were with him. On one hand Peter and the elders and on the other Cornelius and all the other Gentiles who were with him. At that time the quarrels started in all the people who were subjects first hand to this revelation. And the quarrels between the disciples who were present and the other disciples and believers who were not present. And the quarrels between the Gentiles who were present and the Gentiles who were present and the recipients of this revelation when the Holy Spirit fell upon them who will argue about the need of the Circumcision and the Keeping of the Sabbath and the eligibility to be a member of the Royal Priesthood of Jesus Christ. Which established the believing Gentiles as Royal Preists before the Throne of God and the Throne of the Slain Lamb of God who is Jesus Christ. -
Jesus and Martha during the Sinai Covenant or just before the Cross. Jesus said two things for two different situations and time periods. First he said something that can apply to someone who died believing in him before his death on the Cross. And that can apply only to those in the Sinai Covenant at that time and not the other nations of the world. To the first part starts with the word "Whoever" believes in me ....the whoever apply to both righteous and unrighteous people who were under the jurisdiction of the Sinai Covenant only.

I didn't post about Christians and their various cultures and their hostilities toward one another. That only they love those who give them their blind royalty and some of them they used the scriptures to extort from them a cut from their hard earned money often meant to be for the welfare of their parents and their children and the poor in their families. And the poor of the world. Those who are subject to famine. Is the famine one of the things to watch for the last days? And about this statement below. Jesus did not teach about the last days in the same mode as the statement below. "I believe all believers want to see the culmination that results in the new kingdom here in completion. I see that advancing globally." What do you have to say to a Berean type of student who may asked you if your beliefs, which are not specifically indetify if they reflect the beliefs and teachings of Jesus?

A look at Leviticus 21:1-24: 23 "called to be Holy"

@Jacob Ben Avraham and @Frits (wondering why the author of this tread does not want to follow his own thread) maybe he doesn't won't to discuss with others). This is wonderful news but also is not for those who have not seen the vision. It happened like in what happens at the beginning of the New Year. When the new year arrives the old is not there. They do not share not even a split moment together. This is what Jesus taught. But the people in the New will continue to mix the old things into the New. Because they want something the old was giving. Like prosperity of material things. And this is not all. They want to have the ego the people had under in the Old Covenant and they want to have their misguided hopes about the Kingdom of God. They want to have the deceitful visions of Nicodemus of the Kingdom of God. Not descerning the word of Jesus Christ to him who knew about his visions about the Kingdom of God because this was one and the main reason Nicodemus went to see Jesus about. And Jesus perceiving the thoughts and intentions of Nicodemus Jesus was one step ahead and Jesus said to Nicodemus that He cannot see the kingdom of God. That his thoughts about God's Kingdom are not the thoughts of God and Jesus Christ about the kingdom of God. Jesus told him that he is blind to the things of the kingdom of God. THAT HE GOT EVERYTHING WRONG ABOUT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. but yet many want the kingdom of God to be like Nicodemus erroneous beliefs at that time which later Nicodemus stopped believing because after believing he got it. Because his past visions required Christ not to die and be vulnerable to the temptations of the flesh that can lead him to sin and death. That it may happen to Jesus what happened to Adam. And then We cannot called Jesus the Christ of God anymore. We will be left without nothing. We will not have New and will not have the Old. No one can fulfill the promises made to Abraham. Abraham and his seed will be lost. Will join the other nations becoming one of them. Like their neighbor nations. -
That's why we should rather say we are Ambassadors of Jesus Christ of the Gospel of reconciliation something Paul also talked about. Because it was something that had happened and continues to happen and will continue to happen. Something that was offered to people in the past and is being offered in the present and will continue to be offered in the future and will never seized. The forgiveness of sins in the name of Jesus Christ.
