Is it simply and only because they do not turn everything , every thought , hope and dream, everything over to God ?
i.e. they hang on to 'sacred cows' type teachings, tickling their ears, protecting something they don't want to turn over to God to believe God ?

Simply in reading thru the Bible,
and then seeing the last 1500 years history of God's People at times and places when one thousand fell on one side, and ten thousand on another side, but they were not affected, (instead - THEY WERE OFTEN BLAMED for the plague or epidemic or disease ! ) .....
did you NEVER read about God's Promises in the NT, in Revelation, as well as in TORAH, the TANAKH, the PROPHETS and the PSALMS ?
All though Scripture, perhaps almost every page, as about Jesus, so also about the Promises AND the curses (for every promise, a curse was given with it also, as God declared) .....
and somewhere it is written: A CURSE without CAUSE, SHALL NOT COME.

Many people I 'know' had 'covid' BEFORE it was in the news, and had little or no symptoms, none any worse than a mild cold for a few hours, AS THE PRESIDENT and vice president pence both said several times in the last few weeks....
The ones at risk ARE FEW to start with, then the RISK GETS GREATER over a greater number of people, the MORE GOVERNEMTN intervenes.... the way it has.

Be skeptical, especially online, and in churches. The false gospels are much much much more common and prevalent, and false prophets and false teachings are more common,
everywhere,
than the truth is. Everything must be tested and proven true in line with all Scripture BEFORE it is accepted, or the messenger too,
and BEFORE building anything upon it - or it will fall down....
It is better to be or to feel 'lost and shaky' about this stuff.... than to accept it and be led far astray from God and from His Word.
Get back to , and stay on , His Word, Solid Ground, in Jesus, as Revealed by the Father, in all things, all the time, every day,

It is all written in His Word, the Bible, yes KJV, ESV, Phillips, pick your choice - it is written already,
and yet many know neither His Word, nor the Power of God. (the Truth either) but manmade myths instead - tradition instead, opposed to all God's Word, as written.
Why multitudes get it wrong ? Is written in the first couple chapters of 1 Corinthians.... re the "spiritual" man.... vs the unspiritual men, clearly different, clearly described in Scripture, with perfect harmony , no contradictions.

Jesus said Jesus never spoke of nor from Himself, but always from the Father, as written, and as seen, through all Scripture, through all of His Life, through every Word of His, and every Action.... all from and of and relying totally on the Father, as necessary.

I liked seeing what Jesus said in these terms: Turn TO God,
vs repent sinner.....
Oh, all men are still sinners needing Salvation from eternal judgment, but 'Turn To God' seems more like what Jesus told everyone.
And it seems a lot of visiting (and old time) posters not only do not repent, they do not care to turn to God from what is posted. They don't seem to realize that they must turn to God..... if and when they finally do turn to God, for help, SURPRISE! Salvation (Deliverance and Healing and Joy and Peace) (finally) Comes! (paraphrase from The Message Translation that seems very apro-pro) ....
