  1. Apparently I am on a few " ignore " lists.

William ( if this actually shows ), some cows are fed other cows, but don't let that stop you from eating that steak, LOL !

Still, I think the direction of the topic is what is, and what is not allowable by God for His own to eat.

I could quote that it isn't what goes into a man's mouth that defiles him, but rather what comes out of it ( paraphrased ).

Abe, I honestly don't think she wants to divorce, but she feels desperately trapped.  She is very vulnerable right now, it's like the tiniest thing will threaten to push her over the edge into I don't what.  She is so beaten down, and yet she still dares to trust in God.  If it were not for this, I would be so discouraged for her.  As I said, he is very deliberate about his behaviour.  I would classify it as abuse, but that's me.

I think God is storing up this man's end.  Let him fulfill his wishes, and then making face his own consequences.  I don't blame her for wishing to leave him at all.  But I do think if she does stick it out, God will show her just how awesomely He is going to come through for her, and that this man will get his just desserts.

What you sow, you reap.  She will reap love from the Lord.  I shudder to think what this man will reap.

I don't know them, but do you think he may be trying to ( whether consciously or not ) push her into a decision that he is unwilling or unable to make himself ?

    Yes, and tears also.

In fact I used them both  and also heart in prayer today.  Not feeling sad rignt now anymore but not good either.

We MUST wait on God, in faith. He will answer.

"I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning."

    Hi everyone. Here's my situation.

I'm disabled. I have depression and social anxiety issues and a few physical issues. I'm staying with my cousin now, and prior to that I was in a less than ideal environment where I felt seriously threatened and I was being eaten alive by the house's roach population. I've been trying to get the ball rolling on getting treatment and looking into health problems that I've just let slide. As much an improvement over the previous place as this is I'm pretty rapidly getting the picture that it's not where I need to be in the long term. I no longer have remotely reliable access to transportation or a phone, so I'm limited to what communication I can do over the internet. It's just not getting me anywhere. I've been trying since October but transportation has fallen through here repeatedly and caused me to miss appointments and get jabbed with an additional fee as a result.

I've emailed local churches explaining the situation and that I'd like to try and work something out with someone in the church for transportation. I have access to money for gas and I'm quite willing to pay people for their time. More often than not I get no response at all. The one church that did reply asked me to call their office when my email explicitly mentioned that more often than not I'm not going to be able to get to a phone. It's left me feeling extremely frustrated. I'm starting to lapse back into the mentality of just not caring anymore, and that's not good. Ideally what I'd like to do is get temporary transportation for my appointments until I can get set up with the paperwork for medical transportation and try to look at some housing/property options that are closer to the city so I can try public transportation. After all the dead ends I really have no idea how to go about doing that anymore.

Wow. Sounds like a tough situation. I know of a few services that provide transportation for the disabled, but it is dependent on the area I guess.

Are you still in the Tyler, Texas area ?

BTW, I'll be praying for you !

  5. Rather than answer all of you individually, I'll just say;

I did some searching last night and discovered that you are all indeed correct. The majority of these refugees are in fact, young males, and from a variety of places.

    Thanks everyone !

( we can save the God puts folks in authority for another topic.  )

the Lord God has allowed millions of pagans to live in and to enter/ cross into the usa for decades - the participants ((high government and high religious leaders)) with the evil one are against Jesus and against  His followers and their hearts are still 'water in His hand' - God is moving  the wicked in accord with His Plan, His Perfect Plan.

decades? I think your math is off a bit. ;)

I agree though, it is HIS plan, and His perfect Will. Those who are in authority are only there because of His Will. If anyone does not believe that, please say so.

Given that the media is pro refugee, they would be showing more of the elderly and kids IF they were among the so called refugees. A more telling news item is that sweden, so pro refugee, is now burning the camps of the refugees because of the violence coming out of them.

    Why are the fleeing ?

  8. This is not some conspiracy type thing, but you know as well as I do brother, that the media is in business to make money. They will edit out the children, elderly, women, etc, unless it sells better than warriors ready to fight when they hit the docks. If it were a " human interest " story, the footage would be quite different as you know.

If you notice all of the media coverage, these refugees are not elderly and are mostly men who look to be between the ages of 18-40.  They have iPhones and nice clothes.   Very few of them are women and children.    And there are reports out of Europe, like Germany and Sweden and it is getting really nasty over there.  It's common in the news coverage.  I can't believe you haven't seen those reports.

These refugees need to be kept out of the US.  They are more trouble than they're worth.

I have seen the media reports.

Is that where you place your faith brother ? I doubt it. It IS very convincing, and they are very good at it, are they not ?

My wife and I are the opposite of this.

Wherever we go, whatever we do, I share the word of God however I can.

My wife picks up on what I say and starts preaching it, and is she ever good.

We are a great team, praise the Lord!

You are as one, as it should be. 100%. You complete one another in Christ Jesus. Amen brother.

The media calls them refugees, but they are not refugees.   95% of those fleeing are young men of fighting/military age.  They in other countries forming gangs, desecrating churches while exploiting the goodwill of naïve people who never ask questions or apply any critical thinking to these events.

    Shilo,

I love you in Christ Jesus brother, but either you have information I do not, or you are making an assumption ?
